Really great place to stay for some peace and quiet. Wonderful amenities and great local places to eat. Beautiful setting!! Note for pilots: the runway is not usable, it is overgrown.

The location of the house to Cherry Springs State Park was perfect, and it was less than an hour to the Grand Canyon of pa . The house was fully equipped with everything we needed the only thing was the portable air conditioner was not enough to cool the whole place , fortunately for us it was not hot the whole time we were there. I recommend this place for your next getaway very private , clean and well maintained.

Landon was an outstanding communicator and host from the moment we reserved until the end of our stay. Friendly and helpful, he made our experience exceptional. The property offered unique seclusion, serenity, and peace. We loved the egg swings, wraparound porch, fire pit, and covered pavilion. The two airport hangars and nearby lake added charm. The well-landscaped grounds were perfect for walking and enjoying nature. It was the ideal spot for me and my daughters to spend quality time together. The home was clean, bright, and modern with a stunning stone fireplace and beautiful hardwood floors. The home featured high-quality linens, towels, and a well-stocked kitchen. We only needed to bring our suitcases and food. We stayed at the property for our entire visit because we loved the peace, quiet, and beautiful surroundings so much. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking to unwind, de-stress, and enjoy time with loved ones.

This is the place to go if you want a private, quiet, cozy place to enjoy some time away from the chaos of city life. I stayed at Landon's chalet for the weekend with family and we had a terrific time. The trip there is surrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers.
The cabin itself is super cozy and well stocked with plenty of towels, utensils, and all the basic necessities. The nearby town of Coudersport has a Shop-N-Save, cute family-owned coffee and vape shops, and a 24-hour Sheetz only 12 minutes away from the property. The small town feel with freindly people was a nice change from the city bustle.
The kids loved exploring the property. We went on an exploratory hike within the property, and explored the two hangars, and the river. It rained for about a week straight before we arrived so the river was too strong to wade through, but it was nice to watch and listen to it.
I am looking forward to staying at this place again, and enjoying the peace and stars at night.

Updated, clean, warm, quaint cabin. Need to follow the clear instructions to find entrance into the driveway. Host is very responsive. Remote area. One small grocery store. Close to PA Grand Canyon. Good spot for some quiet time. Star gazing.

We spent several nights enjoying the stars and snow shoeing around the property during a snowy weekend. It’s a wonderful private retreat nestled in the woods. Gorgeous skies and no city light pollution. The outdoor fireplace and grill is great.
The bathrooms and living space are immaculate and everything looks new. Tons of towels and a well stocked kitchen! Can’t recommend highly enough!

We had a great time at this house. We were close to PA Grand Canyon, Kinzua Bridge, and Cherry Springs State Park. ~ 1.5 hours to Saw Mill Ski. Fantastic stargazing on the property. House is clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back. It snowed while we were there and I was nervous about access to the house, but owner had everything plowed/ shoveled before we arrived.

It was great place for us to have a family gathering! It rained a lot during the stay, but still enjoyed the time there very much. On the last day, we had a campfire and made s'mores, which was a lot of fun. The place was clean and Landon was super responsive to all the questions. The chalet was exactly as pictured and spotless! It felt very clean and was decorated beautifully. Unfortunately it rained for a lot of our weekend stay but we were able to make the most of it and still got to have a fire, grill dinner (under the pavilion), play basketball in one of the hangers, and take a walk down to the creek. Even through all of the rain, we could tell that the property was gorgeous. The kitchen was well stocked for eating in and the owners included a bunch of supplies such as towels, soaps, a new sponge, etc so we didn’t have to worry about packing as much as we’ve had to at previous airbnbs. Although the bedrooms are a little small, we had 6 adults and 2 children in our group and the common spaces never felt crowded. The owners were great at communication, providing clear and concise instructions as well as recommendations for things to do in the area. They even reached out just to make sure we were doing ok and to see if we needed anything.

Incredible stay! Beautiful property. We didn’t use the loft area as it was a small entrance and my son is 6’ 6” but the pull out couch was super comfortable. Everything was clean and comfortable and the outdoor space was incredible. Still close to grocery and dining but far away enough to disconnect and relax. Loved it.

6 adults. The property was exactly like the pictures on the site. House was very clean, had comfortable beds and pillows. The kitchen was well stocked ( no food, but prep and cook items). Everything in the house was in working condition. The stairs to the loft and the loft were a challenge for our 6’2” friend, but he made it work. We were able to maintain a comfortable temperature by opening windows at night and using the air conditioner during part of the daytime. We gathered to celebrate the life of a friend who passed well before his time. It was a special time for all of us.

We were blown away at the peaceful setting of this cabin. We enjoyed watching a heavy thunderstorm the first night from the swinging chairs under the covered porch and 2 clear nights of stargazing. The view is just as good as cherry springs state park (which is about a half hour away). The river is accessible at the treeline across the airstrip and is beautiful but the current is a bit too fast for kids to splash in. There's a bench down there to relax and enjoy the sound of the rushing water and birds. Garys putter golf was a ton of fun and across the street from there the ice mine was an interesting quick stop with a reasonably priced gift shop! Lyman run has a nice little beach and snack bar. Landon was a great host - the cabin was spotless and he was easy to contact with any questions. I think it would be cramped with 8 guests (2 in the living room pull out) but 6 guests was very comfy. My kids loved sleeping in the loft area! We would love to go back and explore more of the area!

The property the house sits on is amazing. The house looks just as pictured in the photos. Everything you need to have a great getaway! My 18 yo loved the basketball hoop in the 2nd airplane hanger. You really have to explore the property to find the 2nd hanger and the river. I think the size of the property blew us away. Living area, kitchen and dining are all nice sized. The bedrooms are a little small but we figured we’d be outside most of the time anyway. There is only one portable ac in the main living area so the bedrooms do get a little warm. There are fans provided. We opened our windows and put the fan in the window and it was comfortable. Kinzua bridge is a must see!! Overall it was a great getaway for my friends 40th birthday!

This was our first time staying at an Airbnb so we were a little apprehensive about it. However, after the experience we had at this property, we wouldn't hesitate to rent an Airbnb again. Landon was a great host and quickly answered any questions. The property was exactly as described and it was nice having the place to ourselves. Due to heavy rain, we didn't get to utilize the outdoor space as much as we would have liked, but this property is a great place to relax. The fire pit, swings, pavilion, and porch are perfection! The river and mountain views are peaceful. Basketball/disc golf in the hangar were also nice. I would love to see gym equipment (weights) added to the other hangar, but I did run laps on the long driveway.

The purpose of our trip was to do stargazing and Cherry Springs State Park was nearby. While in town, we also visited Coudersport Ice Mine , Kinzua Bridge State Park, and Fezz's Community Diner. All recommended and within a relatively short drive.

Unfortunately for us it rained the entire weekend so we didn’t get to enjoy the amazing outdoor area - so I think we will have to make a return trip. :-) Due to the poor weather, a helicopter made a surprise landing on the airstrip, which our group really enjoyed seeing.

We were on a week and a half vacation/trip to the East Coast and this place was the highlight of our trip adults and kids.
This place is so cozy, clean and peaceful. Four adults and two kids fit perfectly.
During our stay we saw deers coming to the field, two cute cats, and we saw fish and little lobsters in the river.
Setting around the fire pit at night and bbq was so relaxing. Kids had fun making s’mores and catching fireflies at night. They loved the little room upstairs and that kept them busy up there with their books and toys.
The host was great, responsive and made sure we have a great time at his property.
About 17 minutes from this place there is a horse back riding place where we took the kids and had so much fun. There’s a place to get grocery and we got the firewood from the close by gas stations. If you’re looking to an escape into nature, this is the perfect place!
We are definitely coming back next year to enjoy this place again.

What a unique place. The setting is very remote with a driveway that has to be 1/2 mile long. The house is in like new condition and nicely decorated. It had great outdoor spaces with the porches, pavilion and fire pit. The hangers are fun and one has an indoor basketball hoop that we enjoyed every day. Access to the river was a plus. We enjoyed some clear nights to see the stars and enjoy time around the fire. If your looking for a secluded setting 4-5 miles from coudersport I’d recommend this one!

Our family loved this cabin! This truly is a beautiful place to stay. It was a perfect place to have an active 2 year old as well. We stayed for 4 nights & we had everything we needed here. Not only is the cabin well furnished & comfy; it’s incredibly well stocked - the kitchen has literally everything you need from pans, utensils, dinning ware (even plastic dishes for the kids), Tupperware to plenty of cleaning supplies.
I was grateful that the kitchen had more than one roll of paper towels, enough dish/hand soaps, & trash bags. The bathrooms had plenty of bath towels & toilet paper. Again, having been there for 4 days I figured at some point I’d have to do laundry & buy more paper products for the bathroom/kitchen but we never ran out. Those little details themselves made our stay even better.
The outdoor areas/deck are even more gorgeous than the pictures. Even in the colder weather the fire pit was a nice place to relax.
We loved this cabin and can’t wait to come back in the fall!

This was our first ever stay at a VRBO property and we were absolutely impressed as to the accuracy of the description and cleanliness of the cabin. The pictures are exactly what the cabin turned out to be, which was beautiful, tranquil, clean and very relaxing. The beds and living room furniture were very comfortable and clean. The grounds were massive, private, and still secluded, which is perfect for those who want the utmost privacy. We stayed in March when it was still cold outside, but the baseboard heating and gas fireplace worked flawlessly. There was a portable ac unit in the closet, which appears to be the only cooling system in the warmer months. You may want to bring a a bag of ice. The cabin has a portable ice maker , but it may not keep up with a group, of 3 or more. There is no light pollution nearby, so star gazing is easy to do here if that’s your thing. One of the hangers was not open, but the smaller one had a concrete floor and had a basketball hoop setup inside (bring a ball pump to inflate). There was also gear for playing frisbee golf, but with all that land, you could play just about any outdoor sport you want! You will need to bring your own fire wood for the fire pit. We left a bundle of wood behind for the next guests, hoping to start a trend. The stream was beautiful and fast flowing when we stayed. It looked to be about 3 feet deep where the little bench was located. Because this property is situated at the bottom of a valley, the land is flat and there are some marshy, boggy areas around the property, but only on the outer edges. The property manager was also a big plus and was very professional and responsive to my messages. All said, we would definitely come back again! Thanks for making our first experience a great one!

Landon, was very responsive and provided clear, helpful instructions for check-in and check-out. Beautiful, clean home with great views and a beautiful path to the river. It was a little wet from rain so we didn’t get to explore too much outdoors but did get to see a few deer near the property. Driving into town for some essentials was also quick and easy. Would definitely stay again.

Overall a very nice cabin. Decorated nicely inside and out. The outdoor firepit is perfect for hanging out outside and cooking or roasting smores.

Wonderful location for relaxation, nature embedding and all around site seeing. Our weather was overcast, but the stars appeared our last night and topped the weekend off with a show.
The house is clean and comfortable. Outside area is inviting and comfortable as well.
Highly recommend this gem which appears off the beaten track but truly is perfectly located.

Landon’s place was perfect! It could not have been any cleaner! We really enjoyed the wrap around porch with comfortable furniture. The fireplace made it even more cozy. We liked that we were tucked away from everything and had fun watching our deer visitors in the morning and night. The Basketball hoop
In the hanger was a nice touch. Wonderful communication and right in the middle of everything we were looking for. Would love to stay again!

What a beautiful cabin!! We celebrated our 10 year anniversary here with a few friends.
Perfectly off the main road, for privacy and to see the stars!! The cabin was beautifully decorated, and the outdoor furniture was perfect! From the swings by the fire pit to the big egg shaped swings on the porch! It was amazing to explore the property and see the little river in the woods!
We loved our stay and would love to stay again!!

we had such a great few days and no one wants to leave. already planning when we can go again.
only thing is the house was a tad smaller than it looks in the pictures. but we were still very comfortable and happy to be there. it rained the first few nights, but we saw sooooo many stars on our last night. it was perfect.

Super clean and well maintained, it was as if everything was brand new! The property was just perfect and so welcoming and comfortable that we barely left. We brought chairs and fishing poles and chilled in the river, lit fires, and played games. Perfect for our family getaway.

Landon’s place was perfect for our family weekend getaway! The listing is extremely accurate and we enjoyed exploring all that this spot had to offer. Highly recommend booking it if you’re looking for the perfect spot for some family quality time!

AMAZING property. Beautiful and clean with many well thought out amenities like fire pit & chairs, grill, games, smart TV, and a well stocked kitchen. We loved exploring the property - we could even do 1+ mile hike ... around the property! Enjoyed seeing wildlife and eating outside in the large pavilion. Served as a nice central place for many activities like stargazing at Cherry Springs state park, hiking and swimming at local parks, and horseback riding. Can't wait to visit again!

This was a beautiful place to stay! It’s was very quiet and secluded, the views were gorgeous, and it is perfect for getting away and disconnecting.
