I’ll get the one and only negative out of the way right now, and it was something beyond Landon’s control: the town had just replaced the road in front of the house leaving no shoulders, so in order to take a walk safely it was necessary to drive down the hill or into town. And that was it for negatives. The house was bigger than expected if anything - first time in my life I’ve ever gotten disoriented in a house! It had plenty of room for everyone in my extended family. One of the things we did as a family was have a “Chopped” competition with three teams - the layout of the house and two kitchens made it perfect. There were also movie nights, game nights, and a mini-Olympics. This place is definitely on our list for places to return to at some point. If you need a big place to go to for a big family, this is it! Thank you, Landon!

This house is fantastic. It is perfect for a family reunion. We had only adults on this trip but it would be well suited for children too. There is plenty to do for adults and children alike - home theater, game room with pool table and air hockey, indoor pool, lots of outside spaces. There were even games to play. The house is large and well laid out. Fully stocked kitchen and plenty of seating at the dining area. Two family rooms, two laundry rooms. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are clean. It is very close to center of Wellsboro and an easy ride to Mansfield. The Grand Canyon, nearby, is a must see. I would highly recommend this home!

A wonderful location to celebrate with family. We celebrated a 40th birthday with cousins from Canada and found this home to be everything and more. Very spacious, well maintained and beautiful grounds. Very close to PA Grand Canyon which was an extra treat. There is a grocery store within a 5 minute drive and lots of good places within a 5 mile radius for those that rather not cook. Two thumbs up! Thank you for hosting us.

I brought 16 family members to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday and it was terrific!
We had ages ranging from 4 years old to 70 years old and there were things for everyone to do.
The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals for large groups as well as space to eat together.
The home is well maintained considering its size and use.
I would definitely stay there again and recommend it for anyone looking to get away and enjoy a historic town.

We had a lovely stay. We enjoyed the nearby Grand Canyon of PA and the cute town of Wellsboro. The pool was by far the highlight for our young children and we spent many hours in it. There was plenty of space for our family of 19.

The house was awesome for our group of friends to get away for a long weekend. The pictures don't do it justice. The amenities were great, the indoor pool was a big hit, and even though the hot tub was out of commission that weekend, the host reached out to let us know and helped to make things right for the inconvenience. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it for any age group or family vacation.

Huge house with an indoor pool, outdoor hot tub and a firepit. Plenty of space for our group. Nice and clean.
There are definitely a few things that need some repairs or work but honestly it's not a big deal. We did have an issue with the hot tub but a maintenance person was there to fix it within 30 minutes when I mentioned it.

I cant say enough good things about my experience with staying at the Lake View Lodge. I dealt with Christopher the property manager throughout the whole booking process/stay and he was nothing short of amazing. Chris answered every question i had leading up to our stay. He helped and fixed the only two minor issues we had throughout the weekend. During the first night of our stay the hottub stopped working and there was an issue with the speakers in the theater room. Chris had a handyman there the next morning at 10am who fixed both issues within under an hour. We were so grateful. The house is absolutely amazing. We utilized each and every amenitie to the fullest and had so much fun. The house came stocked with literally anything you could think of, from a large percolator coffee machine, extra linens, wood for the fire pit, and even seperate towels for the pool and hottub. This was truley the best experience of renting a home that I have ever had. I will definitely be back to this property for another weekend of fun and relaxation. I highly recommend booking this home for your next vacation.

The house is even bigger than it looks in the pictures! Tons of space - we especially appreciated the two huge dining tables and the kids loved the downstairs bunk room and the upstairs room with the lofted beds. The kitchen is stocked with plates, cups, utensils, etc and the second oven downstairs was great when cooking for a large group. The host was very responsive when we reached out when we had a few minor issues come up. The sunset views from the living room/front deck were wonderful each evening.

This house is everything and more. If you think it looks good in the photos, it looks better in person. Its ten times bigger than you think. The pool and hottub are heaven! The main kitchen is completely stocked with every tool, utensils and item your kitchen would have. The bathrooms have extra towels, toilet paper and everything you need. The bedrooms all have multiple extra pillows and comforters. The house itself is gorgeous and has so much space. The game room is an absolute gem. I would absolutely come back to this house because it truly has everything i want and more.

Came in for a long weekend with my married kids… we were 5 couples and some single kids. The house had everything we expected and more.
It was the perfect winter getaway. Nothing like being able to use the pool and outdoor jacuzzi while seeing snow covered mountains all around you…
We had plenty of room to accommodate all.
The host was very responsive and accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks and hope to experience the house in the warmer weather in the near future…

I can’t say it enough, this place was PERFECT. We went with 8 families that had about 10 toddlers! They loved the pool, the movie room, and just being able to run around. The amount of times we said “this host thinks of everything” was too many to count, from toilet paper to fluffy towels and slow cookers to complimentary detergent, they had it all! 5 star experience!

5 stars is just not enough for this place! It absolutely surpassed all of our expectations. Ages 3-76....every one of us had an unforgettable time!!! We never had to leave the property because every thing we needed was supplied. Many, many thoughtful items were available - all of which made our stay easy, carefree, and relaxing. Beds were all super cozy, house was spacious and immaculate. Air conditioning was perfect in all areas of the house. Decor was tastefully done and the layout couldn't have been any better. The host was extremely gracious and promptly answered my many, many questions. Seamless check in and check out process. Pool was a HUGE hit. Even has a changing area attached to it to dry off -with benches, relaxing music and a fireplace to warm you up after a winter swim!!! The hot tub and fire pit were just icing on the cake. We enjoyed grilling, hanging by the firepit under the starry nights, jumping in and out of the pool and hot tub and playing with all of the board games, pool table, air hockey, etc. Highly, HIGHLY recommend this place if you are looking for some wonderful memories to be made!! The only suggestion I offered to the host was that he provide a binder with instructions for future guests. We were a bit confused with how to adjust the thermostat and couldn't figure out how to properly use the theater room. My brother-in-law used his laptop to stream a movie in there - which worked out ok - but with many remotes in there and no instructions, there was no way to use that room as it was intended. Didn't matter much because like I said, we were able to get a movie going and kids were as happy as can be. Arlin appreciated my feedback and my guess is that he'll have a binder available lickety split!! Oh, one more super petty detail...ha ha...none of us could figure out why the bathrooms (nor the bedrooms) had any waste basket receptacles in them? It was a bit mysterious! Every other last detail was thought of except for this one - but certainly no big deal! All in all, the 22 of us gave this house 10 stars and all said it was a truly wonderful weekend in every possible way. Thanks so much for sharing this gem-of-a-house with us! We hope to return again one day :)

Our family had a phenomenal time at this house. The views were incredible, the space, amenities and resources available was great! Nothing can be compared sitting in the balcony with some coffee and taking in that view of the mountains and the lake.

Very scenic property right in front of the lake. The front yard is huge, we played volleyball all day long. Enough parking in the back. The interior of the house is very well designed to accommodate all the needs. Nice indoor pool, hot tub, fire pit... great amenities. House was well stuffed with enough bath towels, napkins, toilet tissues, even liquid for washing machine. Our entire group of 25 people really enjoyed the place to the fullest and ready to come back. Little pricy however very well maintained.
