I’ll get the one and only negative out of the way right now, and it was something beyond Landon’s control: the town had just replaced the road in front of the house leaving no shoulders, so in order to take a walk safely it was necessary to drive down the hill or into town. And that was it for negatives. The house was bigger than expected if anything - first time in my life I’ve ever gotten disoriented in a house! It had plenty of room for everyone in my extended family. One of the things we did as a family was have a “Chopped” competition with three teams - the layout of the house and two kitchens made it perfect. There were also movie nights, game nights, and a mini-Olympics. This place is definitely on our list for places to return to at some point. If you need a big place to go to for a big family, this is it! Thank you, Landon!

A wonderful location to celebrate with family. We celebrated a 40th birthday with cousins from Canada and found this home to be everything and more. Very spacious, well maintained and beautiful grounds. Very close to PA Grand Canyon which was an extra treat. There is a grocery store within a 5 minute drive and lots of good places within a 5 mile radius for those that rather not cook. Two thumbs up! Thank you for hosting us.

I brought 16 family members to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday and it was terrific!
We had ages ranging from 4 years old to 70 years old and there were things for everyone to do.
The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals for large groups as well as space to eat together.
The home is well maintained considering its size and use.
I would definitely stay there again and recommend it for anyone looking to get away and enjoy a historic town.

We had a lovely stay. We enjoyed the nearby Grand Canyon of PA and the cute town of Wellsboro. The pool was by far the highlight for our young children and we spent many hours in it. There was plenty of space for our family of 19.

The house was awesome for our group of friends to get away for a long weekend. The pictures don't do it justice. The amenities were great, the indoor pool was a big hit, and even though the hot tub was out of commission that weekend, the host reached out to let us know and helped to make things right for the inconvenience. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it for any age group or family vacation.

The house is beautiful with a gorgeous view from the deck. The pool is also an awesome feature to have. House was clean and beds were very comfortable. Owners very responsive to questions. Would definitely recommend this rental.

Huge house with an indoor pool, outdoor hot tub and a firepit. Plenty of space for our group. Nice and clean.
There are definitely a few things that need some repairs or work but honestly it's not a big deal. We did have an issue with the hot tub but a maintenance person was there to fix it within 30 minutes when I mentioned it.

My family and I had an amazing time in the house. Kids loved the pool. Overall house looks just like the pictures. Lot of space, clean house, it was equipped with all a family needs for a weekend trip. The host is always there for anything you need. Would love to be back again.

Enjoyed my stay, house was well equipped. I would have loved if there was an alternate entrance to the swimming pool. Some parts of the home need some tlc, you can tell they’re a bit older. Otherwise, great property.

I cant say enough good things about my experience with staying at the Lake View Lodge. I dealt with Christopher the property manager throughout the whole booking process/stay and he was nothing short of amazing. Chris answered every question i had leading up to our stay. He helped and fixed the only two minor issues we had throughout the weekend. During the first night of our stay the hottub stopped working and there was an issue with the speakers in the theater room. Chris had a handyman there the next morning at 10am who fixed both issues within under an hour. We were so grateful. The house is absolutely amazing. We utilized each and every amenitie to the fullest and had so much fun. The house came stocked with literally anything you could think of, from a large percolator coffee machine, extra linens, wood for the fire pit, and even seperate towels for the pool and hottub. This was truley the best experience of renting a home that I have ever had. I will definitely be back to this property for another weekend of fun and relaxation. I highly recommend booking this home for your next vacation.

The house and grounds are beautiful and the house easily accommodated our family of 16. We used both kitchens and loved the large dining area. We made use of the pool, hot tub, theater, and game room. We explored Wellsboro and hiked at the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. This was the second time we stayed

The house is even bigger than it looks in the pictures! Tons of space - we especially appreciated the two huge dining tables and the kids loved the downstairs bunk room and the upstairs room with the lofted beds. The kitchen is stocked with plates, cups, utensils, etc and the second oven downstairs was great when cooking for a large group. The host was very responsive when we reached out when we had a few minor issues come up. The sunset views from the living room/front deck were wonderful each evening.

We decided to have a little getaway for my parents 25th wedding anniversary and stumbled upon this beautiful home. It was such a beautiful place words do not begin to explain everything was so clean as if brand new. The host were extremely accommodating and we all felt at home. This house is everything and more. If you think it looks good in the photos, it looks better in person. Its ten times bigger than you think. The pool and hottub are heaven! The main kitchen is completely stocked with every tool, utensils and item your kitchen would have. The bathrooms have extra towels, toilet paper and everything you need. The bedrooms all have multiple extra pillows and comforters. The house itself is gorgeous and has so much space. The game room is an absolute gem. I would absolutely come back to this house because it truly has everything i want and more.

Came in for a long weekend with my married kids… we were 5 couples and some single kids. The house had everything we expected and more.
It was the perfect winter getaway. Nothing like being able to use the pool and outdoor jacuzzi while seeing snow covered mountains all around you…
We had plenty of room to accommodate all.
The host was very responsive and accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks and hope to experience the house in the warmer weather in the near future…

I can’t say it enough, this place was PERFECT. We went with 8 families that had about 10 toddlers! They loved the pool, the movie room, and just being able to run around. The amount of times we said “this host thinks of everything” was too many to count, from toilet paper to fluffy towels and slow cookers to complimentary detergent, they had it all! 5 star experience!

Very scenic property right in front of the lake. The front yard is huge, we played volleyball all day long. Enough parking in the back. The interior of the house is very well designed to accommodate all the needs. Nice indoor pool, hot tub, fire pit... great amenities. House was well stuffed with enough bath towels, napkins, toilet tissues, even liquid for washing machine. Our entire group of 25 people really enjoyed the place to the fullest and ready to come back. Little pricy however very well maintained.
