Our stay was wonderful. The size was perfec for our group of 14. There was plenty to do and plenty of space. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The area was great with a lot of good dining within 20-25 minutes of the house. The host was extremely helpful in answering questions in a timely manner. We would definitey stay here again.

Perfect house to host our family of 16 people! It was very clean and provided with just about everything we needed for the week! Host was quick to respond to questions. There is not much to do in the area and you are about 25 min to the closest store, so if your plan is to swim, relax at the house, and take advantage of the water, it is a perfect place to stay! Just what we wanted!

The place is great. Landon is amazing host. We had an Issue with HVAC AC and Landon took care of it immediately. This place is water front property with amazing views and expect to see lot of bugs when you turn on outside lights. It bothered us a little because of we had a baby in our group.

We had an amazing stay for our family reunion over the long weekend. Landon was responsive and was able to accommodate early check in (for an additional fee). We were lucky to enjoy four days of fabulous weather at this amazing place. We had six kids between ages of 8 and 14 and they were always either in the pool, hot tub or Kayaking/paddle boarding in the bay. The Basement looks newly renovated. The house is as good or may be a bit better than in the pictures…our family had a memorable weekend!

Great stay. Exactly what the photos show. The only thing we recommend is provide more board games. The kids love the playroom. The hot tub was good, we briefly enjoyed it. Had all the amenities. This is a house to stay in and hangout with family and friends. There isn’t much around to do which is expected, hence, need more board games. It was very clean and house was beautiful.

This place was absolutely stunning! I couldn’t believe how large it was and the view we had with all of those windows! We experienced a flooding issue due to a sump failing. I gave Landon a call and he answered immediately and had a crew come in to fix the sump and clean up the flooding. By the time we returned to the house, you couldn’t have even seen that it had flooded. I couldn’t believe how quick they responded and resolved the issue. You can’t ask for a better host! The only real issue was we received a noise complaint from the neighbors on the very first night. When the cops arrived, they were just as confused as we were as we actually weren’t making any noise. I mentioned we can try to keep it down, but he said that we do not have to do this as we are at an acceptable level. I don’t know if it was a misunderstanding or what, but fortunately we didn’t hear anything else the remainder of the trip.

Went during spring break. Landon was fast to respond and handled many issues.
We loved this Airbnb and The Home was one of the cleanest we have been in. Plenty of room.
The dock and kayaks gave the kids lots of stuff to do and explore. We took this vacation much more easy and only went out and checked out the plantation down the road and had dinner in Chesapeake city.

We had an amazing time here! The house is very spacious and the views were amazing! We went off season so were unable to use the pool and other outdoor amenities, but the hot tub was a fun escape from the cold and the big windows helped us feel like we were still enjoying the outdoors. The house is a little older with some dated hardware and is a little confusing to find in the dark, but overall we loved staying here. The host was also very kind and responsive. I would love to come back in the summer and enjoy it again!

The place is wonderful and amazing! The activities and amenities given are enough to be used by a lot of people. The view is also spectacular. I’d say summer is the best time to stay here due to the availability of the pool. Overall, I really recommend others to stay here and the price is reasonable as well.

I can’t say enough good things about Veazey Cove! I went for a weekend with a group of girlfriends (7 of us total). I had high expectations based on the listing photos, and the house exceeded them. We’re already talking about coming back & bringing our kids.
Highlights for us were:
-SO clean
-giant kitchen with everything we needed to cook for our small crowd
-tons of space - multiple places to gather inside or out
-hot tub with an incredible view of the water
-private baths for each bedroom
-little amenities that I didn’t expect (good toiletries, so many bath towels & beach towels, coffee & tea) but that make the stay so much more comfortable
My only cautions:
-Getting to the house in the dark was tough (country roads, no street lights)
-It’s the perfect location for relaxing and staying in, but there’s not a lot to go out & do nearby (which was fine for us!)

Beautiful home. Provided all necessary accommodations (toilet paper, soap, towels, paper towels, etc) for a lovely getaway with the family. Not much to do in the area off season but great place to relax and likely a lot of fun in season. Nice to use the hot tub and had everything needed to make a nice weekend retreat.

What a fabulous place to stay! We came in late at night. The lights were on for us, and the music was playing softly. Such a pleasing presentation! The house and grounds were even better than the pictures. And we all had king size beds with our own bathrooms, what could be better? Landon was a pleasure to work with, he responded quickly to any questions we had. My only suggestion would be to bring your own bottled water as the house is on a well.

One of the nicest places I've ever stayed at. Will definitely look for this place again. A beautiful house in an amazing location. The place is as advertised, incredibly clean, and looks just like the pictures. My friends and I had an amazing time at this waterfront home. We spent a ton of time outside paddleboarding and fishing off the dock while grilling a bunch of our meals. It rained a few times but the covered patio allowed us to still relax outside. Plenty of space inside and lots of different areas to relax and hang out. The bedrooms were amazing, comfortable and spacious. Landon was very communicative and helpful. I hope this place is available next year when we go to book our trip again.

I rented the house for our annual family vacation. It was the perfect place to bond with the entire family. Plenty of diverse activities at the house to engage everyone, young and old, alike. The house and property was clean and as described on AirBNB. Landon (the host) was very responsive to any questions we had.
In addition, there are two great wineries nearby to visit, as well as Chesapeake City which is a quaint, scenic town with fine waterfront restaurants and curio shops. We even took an excursion out of Chesapeake City on Back Creek and the Elk River.
All in all, the entire week was a great experience for all.

We live in the area and hosted family here for a long weekend. It's in a spectacular location along the river and we loved the large deck and pool area. The weather was great so we spent most of our time sitting outside, either on the deck, by the pool or by the firepit. The bedrooms are lovely and the huge downstairs is like having another apartment. We will definitely rent this again if we have a large number of family members visiting.

The views at this quiet property are stunning, and the pool and dock offered hours of entertainment. The kayak and two paddle boards were a great feature, plus the hot tub and fire pit for the evenings. We had a large family group and found the home very comfortable with plenty of sleeping areas and hangout space. We had a minor hot water issue but the host was very responsive. Additional amenities in the house would make this a fun stay any time of year or under poor weather conditions. Proximity to Chesapeake City was also a good feature of this property, offering a remote feel but still enough to do nearby. Overall we enjoyed our time here and would likely book it again.

This vacation was everything our family was looking for. The on the bay experience is one of a kind and the sunsets are unmatched. The house is absolutely sensational! The kitchen is well stocked, bedrooms/bathrooms are huge and there is plenty of room for everyone to relax. Landon was a great host and was always very quick to respond to me. We had one small issue and he had it taken care of in less than an hour. He was also flexible with the check in time which was helpful with our 2 year old. If you are looking for tranquility, look no further. We will definitely be looking to plan another vacation at this house!

We keep coming back to this place because it is so much better than anything else within a 4-hour drive of our home. The house layout is perfect for families, with rooms at all corners and two primary suites. The kitchen/dining room combo has room for everyone. Probably the best part is the bay on which this property sits. A small beach, a nice dock, and calm waters to kayak, paddleboard, or just enjoy nature. On our most recent visit, we arrived to see two bald eagles sitting in the tree in the backyard...the first of many bald eagle sitings during our visit. You will not be disappointed with this house and the host, Landon, is extremely personable and always available when you need him.

Beautiful home. Lots of space to gather as family and friends but large enough to spread out and have privacy and space to relax. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was large and well-appointed. Bring your own spices/oils, etc. if you like to cook - everything else you need is there. The finished basement was a great hang out space. We had a minor issue with the TV sign in, but we figured out a work around, and Landon was helpful in working to help us resolve it. The views of the water and waterfowl and wildlife are spectacular! A pair of eagles visited often, and we all loved sitting in the rare February sunshine on the deck in the afternoon, watching nature do her thing. We enjoyed our stay at this lovely property.

This home is even more beautiful and cozy in person - and that says a lot! Landon was the perfect host. Always responsive, and only reached out to ensure everything was perfect. We stayed in the winter, so while we didn’t get to use the outside much, we did use the hot tub! Everyone in my group wants to come back to this house annually. That’s how amazing it was. We had 3 couples with 1 infant each, 2 grandmas and another adult, and we all had enough space to spread out, but also spend time together and it felt cozy. That’s the beauty of this place. The kids playroom was everything! And the basement bedroom and setup was awesome for the everyone to hang out. It’s been renovated and the bathrooms are spa like. Amazing overall. Can’t wait to come back in the summer!

This home is absolutely beautiful. We had the pleasure of gathering together with our family for Thanksgiving weekend and we had the most amazing time. The view is breath taking. The view was amazing and we loved how the back was setup to optimize the view. We fished from the dock and used the kayak and paddle boards. The house was amazing, very clean, spacious with incredible views of Bohemia River from two of the bedrooms as well as from the great room, kitchen and backyard deck. Each day we BBQ’d, used the pool and kayak and enjoyed the outdoor water views with many Eagle sightings. My family and I had a wonderful vacation at this home in Earleville, MD. The house was amazing, very clean, spacious with incredible views of Bohemia River from two of the bedrooms as well as from the great room, kitchen and backyard deck. If you’re looking for a peaceful get away with all the amenities available than this is your vacation home. Each day we BBQ’d, used the pool and kayak and enjoyed the outdoor water views with many Eagle sightings. If you have toddlers, there is an awesome playhouse downstairs that my grandson absolutely loved. All shops, restaurants and other activities are approximately 15 minutes away.

The house was so beautiful with plenty of room for our large group of extended family. We were 8 adults and 1 child. There was something for everyone to do, between the pool, hot tub, the river with paddle boards and 2 man kayak during the day, and a fire pit for s’mores in the evening. There was a pool table and football table, plus TVs in every bedroom and living areas. The The kitchen was wonderful with plenty of room for multiple cooks and bottle washers. It was well stocked with cookware and dinnerware and had a nicely sharpened set of knives, something you don’t often find when renting. This house is a perfect place for family vacations or a large group of friends., as each bedroom has its own bathroom. The large laundry room has 2 dryers and there was a plentiful supply of linens, including lots of beach towels. Landon was a great host and very accommodating to our every need.

This is everything the listing promises! The home is stunning, spotlessly clean, kitchen is well-equipped and the view cannot be beat! There is something so peaceful about a home on the water! Lots of little extras throughout and they don't skimp on the supplies. The beds were comfortable and the couches lovely for lounging. Perfect gathering areas and more than enough space to spread out if that's what you need. CON: Though I did receive emails regarding the property itself, a list of local recommendations and check-in and check-out instructions, the communications themselves were clearly auto-generated and impersonal. No one contacted me to ensure everything was to our satisfaction upon arrival and thankfully we had no issues at all because I was also never given a local contact name or number if there was a problem. Besides the communication issue, I would absolutely recommend the property - just gorgeous and my friends and I are already talking about booking for next year.

We returned to this property for a second stay, a few weeks after our first visit. We really love this house, and the location. The house is huge, well appointed, and can easily fit 8-10 people (probably more, if there are children). It has a pool, hot tub, soaking tub (jacuzzi), a very large basement (pool table, theater area). Outside, the views are magnificent. On one side there are river/bay views, on the other is a walking trail with miles of solitude (and a nest of eagles, hence the name of the property).

This house has great views of the water on one side, and the woods on the other (with an eagles nest visible nearby). There are bedrooms on three floors. The house has a pool, a hot tub, a soaking tub in the master bedroom, a small beach access to the water, a fire pit, TVs throughout the house, a pool table and play area in the basement. Every bedroom has its own bathroom. As nice as this house is inside (and it is really nice inside), the views outside are even better. On my last morning at this house, I spent 30 minutes on the deck, looking at the water. I am looking to make another reservation over the winter break.

We had an opportunity to spend 4 nights at this property this October with my wife, son, and parents (in their early 70's). We selected this property because there are very few steps to get in/out of the house and to either of the main floor bedrooms. As my parent's get older, ascending and descending steps becomes more of a challenge for them, so having two available bedrooms on the main floor was a key factor for our rental decision. The kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of kitchen items from knives, to pots and pans, to utensils. Being in a quiet rural setting, had planned on cooking most of our meals ourselves, so having a great kitchen with ample countertop prep space was a big plus. There were plenty of bedrooms including a surprise basement bedroom that wasn't featured in the VRBO pictures, but was really tastefully decorated and had one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! A++ There were only two items I would mention as clarifications that were not abundantly obvious in the listing - 1. There is a very steep grass hill (with no steps/stairs) in the back of the house that needs to be traversed to get to the dock if you want to go fishing or sit on the dock. Not a big deal at all for someone who is young and able, but for my parent's in their 70's the descent to the dock was a risky adventure. 2. It's hard to tell from the photographs, but the pool table is a 7 ft. smaller recreational table - not a big deal at all, but everyone in our family shoots pool and would have enjoyed playing on a regulation 8ft table more. Overall, our experience at the property was phenomenal and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet riverfront getaway in a truly beautiful home that is in exceptional condition! What a fantastic vacation spot! The property is amazing - the heated pool overlooking the river, expansive deck & covered porch created the perfect outdoor oasis for us. That view was everything! We spent 90% of our time outside and didn't experience much of an issue with bugs/flies/creepy crawlies. Some gnats around twilight, but overall - we could be outside as much as we liked! The river access was so great - being able to quickly launch a kayak (and - the hosts fantastically provided a couple paddleboats too - fun!) was lovely. It was the perfect relaxing, spur of the moment kind of place! And the eagles - we had a nest so always had the fun of watching them take flight throughout the day! The house itself was perfect! Every kind of space you'd want for vacation. Three floors with bedrooms/bathrooms on each so folks had their own spaces, but could also gather together in the main, open concept kitchen + dining+ living (with the great view). The kitchen had everything we needed to handle meals (coffee maker + coffee = happy). The basement is kitted out, pool table, foosball, playhouse and games - lots of indoor activities too! And the finishing's/furniture/styling of the house are lovely, felt like we were in a private resort - that coupled with the views made the place feel like that private oasis! Great communication with the owners too. Entering/Exiting directions were clear and reasonable, and Liz helpfully shared local attractions and restaurants (thoughtful and fun surprise). She was super accessible and thorough in ensuring we had all info needed for the spaces - really appreciated her attention to details! Overall, a truly stunning space and experience!

The house is gorgeous and the layout is perfect for large family gatherings. The basement was the perfect hangout for our tweens and teens after a day enjoying the outdoors. The outdoor space offers plenty to do for all - we enjoyed the bay and the shallow water that made it easy to launch the paddle boards or just float around. The pool and hot tub offered a nice change at the end of each day. Overall, the house matched the description on VRBO and I would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our long weekend stay at this house. The views are amazing and the outdoor living space, pool, kayak and hot tub were definitely highlights of the trip. The house was spotless upon arrival, and very new and clean inside. The property manager was very responsive to any and all questions. We would definitely recommend this property.

Mary was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. She was the perfect host. The home was every bit as good as the photos looked, if not better. Everything was in good condition, did not look worn out which we have commonly come across in other homes. Plenty of space for everyone, plus the amazing basement space is perfect to keep everyone entertained. The weather was nice for a day during our spring trip so we were able to take the 2 person kayak plus paddle boards out on the water. Then at night we were able to use the fire pit. We all left saying this was probably our best stay out of the past 5 or 6 homes we've been to. Would definitely book again!

This house is perfect for adults and children! We enjoyed the beautiful views and hot tub! Our kids had a blast in the playroom! The house is super clean and fully equipped with pretty much everything you need! A great location with wineries, farms and restaurants nearby. We will be back!

We had a fantastic stay at the Waters View property. The owners were lovely and wanted to be sure we had a great stay. The views are incredible and it was such a delight to enjoy the hot tub on the chilly mornings. We happened to come on a perfectly sunny weekend and it was so nice to take the kayak to the water. The house is equipped with everything you need for a family getaway.

This house was very spacious and located on the water which was really beautiful. We enjoyed the beautiful large kitchen and despite the cooler weather enjoyed walking in the scenic surrounding area. The property manager was very responsive and helped with any issues we had.
