We couldn't have asked for a better place to ring in the New Year with our family. This cabin truly had it all:
• Breathtaking Views: The mountain scenery was the perfect backdrop for our stay.
• Heart of the Home: The kitchen is incredibly spacious, making it the ideal spot for long family conversations over meals.
• Entertainment Plus: Between the massive TV for movie nights and the cozy, well-equipped game room, there was never a dull moment.
• Outdoor Fun: The fire pit was a nightly highlight, and the kids absolutely loved the swing!
If you’re looking for a peaceful yet fun getaway for a large group, this is it. We loved every second of our New Year’s celebration here! 🥰

The location is awesome, right by the river. Place has all the amenities that a large group would require. The hosts are responsive and were flexible with the late checkout. We loved the place and it makes a perfect gateway.

Our group had a great stay at this house!
We had 9 people, including a couple with a small child, and the home fit everyone very comfortably. There were plenty of dishes and glasses for all of us, and the outdoor grill worked perfectly. We also loved the fire pit area and the fun outdoor swing. The view is beautiful, and the river right next to the house makes the location even more relaxing. The game room with the pool table was a big bonus. The house stayed warm, and it heated up very quickly, which was great on cold days.

We had a great stay at the Lodge. The place was super comfortable and the location was perfect. It is right on the creek and pine creek rail trail.
We were a party of 16 and the hosts accommodated a last minute late checkout request which is much appreciated.

Great place for large multifamily vacation. Cedar Run and Slate Run areas are beautiful and a really nice place to relax, fish, bike, and hike. Plenty of outdoor games (volleyball, corn hole, etc.). Can't wait to see the completed pickle ball court! Everything was clean and as described - we had a fabulous time.

Our stay in Slate Run, PA was perfect! The cabin is in a peaceful, scenic area surrounded by nature. We loved being so close to the water and the bike trail—it made for relaxing mornings and fun afternoons. Just up the road is the cutest little general store where the kids could walk to get ice cream, which became a highlight of the trip. A wonderful place to relax and make memories!

We had a fantastic week-long stay! The location was perfect—just steps from the creek and rail trail, which made it easy for our family to enjoy nature and daily adventures. The fire pit was a favorite in the evenings, and when the weather turned rainy, the separate game room and spacious porch gave us plenty of room to hang out and stay entertained. The window AC units were a huge bonus during some hot afternoons, keeping the whole place cool and comfortable. Truly a relaxing, well-equipped getaway—we’d absolutely come back!

What a beautiful place for a quiet, peaceful, serene getaway. The house is located on the river, surrounded by mountains, just gorgeous! It felt very peaceful and so beautiful there. The house is functional, had everything we needed for a multi family getaway. We loved the game room, that had so many games and a pool table. We’re super excited to find 6 bikes in a shed that were available to explore the bike trail. So many places outside just to sit and enjoy the nature: two swings, table with two chairs, big fire pit! Thank you for providing the wood for the fire too! The house had everything and more for a great stay! So many locations around as well for a good hike. We loved our stay!!

We loved this Airbnb!!! It was wonderful.. the amenities listed were all there plus more! The kitchen was wonderfully stocked for cooking meals for 8+ people and there were so many places for us to hang out and do activities!! We ended up going around mid/late March and there was a burn ban so we were unable to use the fire pit which was alright and it was bear season which made us slightly uncomfortable being outside, but otherwise it was an amazing stay and we had a blast celebrating my boyfriends birthday!!!

Wanted a cozy weekend away with good friends in a beautiful place to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and this place made that happen. The views are stunning and it’s so peacefully quiet and still. The house had everything and more- comfortable beds, spacious and well-equipped kitchen, outside sitting areas, extra blankets and the game house was probably the best part. Landon was a wonderful host, very communicative and helpful and provided us with all the information we could’ve needed. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time during our 3 day weekend. There were seven women in our group. We are high school friends now in our 50’s meeting up for a girls’ weekend. We had plenty of space. We enjoyed the fire pit, the side cabin and the large dining room table. The beds were comfortable. The showers were clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our snacks and meals. The bike trail is amazing although we just went for walks on it. The nearby Country Store is cute and we each made a few purchases there. There is also a bar/restaurant within walking distance called Hotel Manor. People were fly fishing on Pine Creek. We hope to stay here again next year.

This was our second visit to Bald Eagle Lodge. We love its convenient location for biking the Pine Creek rail trail, the beautiful property on Pine Creek and awesome fire pit. The home is comfortable and clean with many amenities which were improved upon since our visit last year. Location is lovely. We loved the outdoor space and covered porches since we had some rain during our stay. Having the guest house gave the kids somewhere to hang out and the parents some quiet time! They upgraded a few things since the last time we had visited like the sand volleyball court, ceiling fan in the living room, fire stick for guest house tv access, etc. we had a great time making memories.

A beautiful location! The house is situated between Pine Creek and the Rail Trail. There was tubing, kayaking, fishing, etc in the creek and hiking & biking on the trail, with plenty of games when it rained. The house was clean and comfortable, with plenty of room! We would definitely stay again!

If you want to be right on the creek, this is the best place for larger groups in the Pine Creek Valley. Lots of room inside and out, privacy, kitchen is well stocked, and the kayaks, bikes, and river rafts are nice add ones to the rental home. We saw 3 bears and lots of other wildlife during our stay. Walking distance to the general store, and restaurant nearby. This is our 2nd time using the place, and we will be back.

This cabin was everything we needed and more. What was supposed to be a sunny weekend turned into more of a spring shower kind of weekend, but this house didn’t disappoint! Between the game room and the yard space, the kids didn’t miss out on anything due to the weather. The trees over the fire pit allowed the adults to relax around the fire in the middle of the drizzle. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

We wanted a place to stay along Pine Creek with our three grown children, their spouses and 6 granddaughters (ages 15, 12, 10, 7, 5 and 4). It was perfect. The girls loved the adjacent game room and when the little ones weren’t there the 15 year old loved it for a little alone time. We loved walking on the rail trail, hiking behind the Hotel Manor and other trails. We even had some snow that I could cross country ski. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We would love to come again to enjoy kayaking and tubing in Pine Creek. Thank you so much!

The house was a perfect setting for a family celebration of Christmas and a 50th Wedding Anniversary of our parents. The country farm house had plenty of bedrooms, a large kitchen, and dining room was perfect accommodations. The setting against the creek and mountains was picturesque. First floor bedroom and walk in shower with rails was perfect for elderly mother. Separate game room was fun for grandkids. Big kids (parents) liked the paved fire pit. Highly recommend and would consider return visit with excellent communication from host

We were four families with kids and we had an amazing time at this cabin. We were here during the winters and felt warm and toasty inside. The game room was super fun. We took a weekend trip to bald eagle cabin and absolutely loved it! It’s surrounded by beautiful mountains and right on the water. The cabin and game room were great. Ample space and a good kitchen for cooking. The stars at night were amazing! If you go behind the side shed you can hide from the light pollution of the lamppost and neighbors and could see even more. Highly recommend!

We are a group of family fisher-persons and this was perfect for us. Everything we needed was included with the house, all we brought was food and gear. The best fishing of the trip was right on the creek in the backyard. Exceptional accommodations, outstanding fishing and beautiful scenery. And so many eagles...we will definitely be back next year.

Perfect for our annual getaway to bike with friends on the Pine Creek Rail Trail. The expansive layout is accommodating for any group and location on the Creek with fire ring a perfect place to relax and watch wildlife after an active day.

This place was the perfect getaway for six old men looking to go biking, kayaking, hiking, fishing and relaxing. It was exactly as presented in the description. The location was perfect, about half way along the rail trail so we could cover the whole thing in two easy rides. We made good use of the fire pit and the separate game room was amazing. Having a decent bar/restaurant and impressive general store really close by was an unexpected bonus. The dishwasher did leak but the caretaker came by to check on us and he took care of it, no big deal. If we ever want to ride this trail again, we’ll be staying here again.

This is a great place to unplug, unwind and just have fun! Our family of 16 enjoyed our stay at Bald Eagle Lodge as there was something for everyone. We played games in the game room which turned out to be the best place to take the little ones in the morning while the others slept. We fished and inner tubed down the creek almost everyday. The location was an easy walk to Wolfe's General Store for ice cream and, it was a nice bike ride into Cedar Creek to visit the General Store. Campfires every night with wood supplied for convenience. The house was well stocked with trash bags, laundry supplies, toiletries and extras. We really didn't need anything else. It was a great place to spend a week with family and Johnny across the street was very welcoming! Thanks so much for letting us enjoy your home!

Wow! What a fantastic stay! We loved the location with the creek in the back yard, the rail trail in the front, and easy access to the general store it was the ideal get-away for our family gathering! I also really appreciated the communication with BnBs R Us. This was the first time at an AirBnB for many of our extended family and we had a lot of questions before and during the stay. The host always responded quickly and was extremely helpful! We were so grateful for the AC on the hotter days and loved having the large roof and game room for when the summer thunderstorms rolled in. This is a magical stay - we are already talking about booking it again next year!

Best 5 bedroom plus house on the river in my opinion. beautiful place, and great location to the bike trail, store, and restaurant. We could have walked to everything we needed for the whole week. This was our first time staying at the Bald Eagle Lodge, we absolutely loved it and are planning on returning again next year.
This was our family's 9th annual "Creek Week", the 1st time at Bald Eagle Lodge.
This place did not disappoint, great location, clean, very roomy and very helpful people.
We saw lots of wildlife and had an "incredible bear sighting", and many more memories were added to our family's "Creek Week" adventures.

My friends and I took a weekend away to celebrate a friend that’s getting married soon. We were more than happy with this scenic and peaceful place. The pictures were accurate but still didn’t do the listing justice, you can’t truly appreciate the property without seeing it in person. The place was perfect.

Amazing amazing amazing. So we’ll kept, beautiful river and mountains. It was well stocked with everything we expected. And I went in one of the most stunning hikes ever. Plus, the host extended our checkout to give us extra time to get packed on our last morning. If you have a big group, this is the spot. Probably coming back someday

Our family loved our stay over the long weekend. We spent most of our time in the side cabin or kitchen. Very peaceful and serene location. We saw a bald eagle, which was a highlight. Kids loved the swing even though it was cold all weekend. Great place, only draw back is only 1 bathroom in the main house. Other than that it is awesome and as advertised!!

I was there during winter. The location is absolutely gorgeous. Nature all around, really well preserved, beautiful creek in the propriety. The place was very clean, the bathrooms were spotless, nice appliances in the kitchen, and well-furnished rooms. The host was really responsive and very friendly. You just feel like you are dealing with good people. I will certainly come back in the future.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. We loved the house and enjoyed the cabin a lot. If I had any questions the host would always reply back fast. I recommend this place to anyone it is beautiful.

Beautiful location right on Pine Creek. Had 14 guys up for a hunting trip and we were able to fit everyone with using the pull out bed in the side cabin. Wish there was a bathroom on the top floor of the main house but wasn’t a big deal. The owners were super responsive via Airbnb and helpful when needed. Will definitely book next year for the the annual trip and thank you for letting us use the facility. Great job with all the work that has been done to it, the side cabin is really fun to hang out in. Tried streaming football/soccer games but didn’t have much luck. Cell service was ok for T-Mobile and AT&T but guys with Verizon had some difficulties. All in all, amazing place and had a great time, thank you!

So glad you enjoyed the place and the area. I know it's frustrating there's not much cell service up in the Pine Creek valley and Wi-Fi is slow, but will be better once they run the fiber optic lines which is planned next year.

This house is a great find in the Slate Run and Cedar Run area. It was big enough to host our family and relatives for Thanksgiving, it has a great guest house/game room with a pool table, and the fire pit on the creek is perfect. We are all talking about when we can come back to this sanctuary. The host was really responsive when we messaged about a problem on Thanksgiving Day!

The game room is perfect for family's to come together in the evening or if you had a rainy day. We loved that it was separate from the house because of having a baby with us. We could still have fun and carry on while he slept in the house. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a Creekside getaway!

If you're going to Slate Run, rent this place! The location was 5-star...right on the water and a stone's throw away from the Hotel Manor and the General Store. The check-in process was flawless and the communication with the host before, during and after the rental period was prompt and courteous. The second building with the pavilion and game room was the hit of the weekend: TV, pool table, bathroom, couches, fridge, etc.....it was awesome.
We spent our mornings and evenings by the fire pit overlooking the creek, watching the deer and the bald eagles. And we spent our afternoons kayaking and biking (they provide some of both). The kitchen was huge and a great place to hang out and cook and spend some great time with friends and family.
You won't regret your decision to rent this!

This place is in a nice location having easy access to pine creek and mountain trails! I had a good time with my friends here. The WiFi speed here is slow but there are many fun table games and outdoor activities provided.

This is a fantastic location! The outdoors are even better than advertised, and the scenery and water and trails and bears make it just wonderful!
The game room is special, the fire pit is just right, and the whole place is well stocked.
If I had a critique, it would be that with the house only having one bathroom, if you have a large group, you may be waiting on one another.

Directions to the house are spot on! The driveway is definitely a little tricky to find after dark. The game room and covered patio were such an amazing bonus since it rained most of our trip. We were able to use the bike trail in between storms which was a blast! All of the notes around the house are so helpful! We can’t wait to rent another BNB from BNBs R Us!

Great house for family reunions, retreats. We used the bikes, kayaks and lots of firewood. Most places you have to supply your own firewood; it's included. Host was very responsive to any questions. It was the perfect mountain retreat. Great WiFi service also

Place was awesome with a great view of the creek from the fire pit. Very clean and lots of space for little ones to run around in the yard. Very strongly recommend for a visit to pine creek.

We stayed here with 12 of us, including 5 kids. The house is very nice, and the grounds are even nicer. The game room was everyone’s favorite, it’s so nice and provides a separate space. It was nice that they provided bikes and kayaks. Host was extremely responsive, answered a question I had at 9 pm when I wasn’t expecting an answer until the next day. And is one of the most well stocked air BnB I’ve ever been to- they had plenty of napkins, paper towels, garbage bags, sponges, soap, detergent, towels, etc. My only complaints are that when asked about swimming before booking the trip, I was told there are plenty of swimming holes, but even after exploring we couldn’t find anywhere to swim, just the creek that was only about a foot deep. We tried the kayaks after it rained but it was still too low. Secondly, it’s much more remote than I had anticipated- the nearest grocery store was 40 minutes away. Of course none of this is the hosts fault, it’s just something to note if you were planning on swimming or being closer to shops. The water is good however for younger children- we had kids from 4-11 and I had brought nets, so they were able to play in the creek and see what they can catch. Our family did have a good time though.

Great place to really relax. Beautiful scenery, biking, kayaking pool table, and playing games. We saw bald eagles every day we were there while sitting by the fire.

This location was breathtaking, it looked better than the actual pictures. It was very clean and equipped with all the bells and whistle that is needed to enjoy family time. Check-in was effortless, excellent decor, board games, spa bathroom, marshmallow fire pit, bbq deck area, game room and enough space for a big family. The only downside is not having running water the night and morning before leaving. But that could be due to the electricity going out the night before in the entire area. When the lights came back on the water was none existent but my family and I use bottle water to take care of our hygiene. I guess the power and water are connected somehow but overall the trip was a success.

Rented this place for a group reunion. The property exceeded expectations. Located in a beautiful area. Plenty of room for groups and plenty of activities including hikes and floating down the river. Would love to return here soon. Highly recommended.

Private and peaceful property! Very clean throughout, thoughtfully organized, and a nicely appointed kitchen for cooking. The tub and side-building are really great and everything is new and in good-condition. The owner is responsive and friendly. I'd stay here again.
