Blue Ridge Mini Lux Retreat 1

We had such a wonderful, relaxing stay. One of the best vacations I’ve taken in a while! The place was cozy, and the hosts provided everything necessary, down to the kindling for the fire pit. We brought some things with us, just in case (I.e., salt and pepper, wine opener), only to find that the hosts thought ahead and had those items readily available. The check in/out system was easy. We really enjoyed watching movies in the cabin, cooking on the grill, and enjoying dinner by the fire pit, and stargazing once the sun went down. I would definitely stay here again for a little weekend escape!

Looks exactly like the photos.
The entire space was pristine and professionally cleaned, which is a HUGE plus for us. Especially the bathroom, bedroom areas.
All of the amenities and kitchen were fully functional and well maintained. We were particularly impressed with the freshly changed water in the jacuzzi! Thanks!!
All in all, very pleased with this stay. For the price point I had high expectations and they were certainly met.
I miss the sauna and jacuzzi already!

While the accommodations were lovely, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was clean, the area left little options for dining. Luray is the closest town Ana’s lacked higher end amenities commiserate with the cost of the stay.

I just got back from a wonderful stay at this beautiful property and had to leave a review right away – it exceeded all expectations!
The house itself is lovely, clean, spacious, and exactly as pictured. What completely blew me away was the sauna – seriously one of the nicest private saunas I’ve ever used. After a long week in the DC area, stepping into that warm, cedar-scented bliss felt like pure magic. It was the ultimate way to unwind and recharge.
Location-wise, it feels like you’ve escaped to another world while still being less than two hours from the Beltway – perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. We spent our days hiking and exploring the gorgeous surrounding nature, and anytime we realized we forgot something (toothbrush, snacks, etc), everything was available within a short 10-15 minute drive. No stress at all.
Communication with the host was fantastic – they sent super clear, proactive instructions ahead of time. True Turnkey.

This was by and far one of the most gorgeous places we have ever stayed.
The views from literally any angle were breathtaking. From the Mountain View’s in the mornin, to the millions of stars visible at night, the pictures did not do it justice!
The home was very aesthetically pleasing and well laid out. Seeing the sunrise over the mountains from the bedroom was spectacular.
Would highly recommend this place to anyone I know! Looking forward to staying there again soon!

This place was perfect for our family weekend getaway. We usually use The Getaways/Postcard cabins but this cabin was available. It had everything and more than what we needed. It was nice to have a washer and dryer on site. Stayed at another Airbnb and it didn’t have washer/dryer combo and had to get our clothes sent out. Nothing against the host; when clicking on the address it sent the map to a location in Leesburg. So we used Google Maps instead of Maps(on an iPhone). This place was so clean, organized and had enough space for a family of four.

The Blue Ridge Retreat is a perfect example of all things relaxing! From the sauna to the hot tub, you only had to step outside the door to decide which one to indulge in. There is a cold plunge but we were too chicken to try it, outside of a toe! The views were amazing and so peaceful. The place is super cute, and very clean. We will return for sure!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin in the Shenandoah Mountains! The views of the mountains were absolutely stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. The cabin itself was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.
We especially enjoyed the hot tub and sauna, which made the evenings feel extra cozy. The fire pit and grill were perfect for spending time outdoors and enjoying the fresh mountain air. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared.
The only downside was that the host kept reminding us about checkout time, which felt a bit frustrating when trying to fully relax. Other than that, the stay was wonderful, and we would still recommend this cabin for a peaceful retreat with great amenities.

This was the absolute perfect getaway for a couple of parents looking for a kid-free getaway. The place was beautiful, peaceful, and private. Very scenic. Watching the sunrise over Shenandoah from the living room was a huge bonus.
Only note is, while the description says the cabin can sleep 4 and there is technically a pull out couch, I can’t imagine it being comfortable for more than 2, but it is absolutely perfect for 2. And it is exactly as advertised — just as picturesque and perfect as the photos.

Absolutely it was worth the price! The privacy and amenities were top shelf. Even if ya didn’t use them🤪🤣! It rained a lot but didn’t dampen the relaxation and peace! Beautiful place. I like a firm bed, but that’s nothing! I slept fine! The only less than positive was the building noises! But can understand wholeheartedly, duh, the place has to run! Reall aside from something completely uncontrollable! Would absolutely recommend this place and want to come back again. Even when you open up a few more in other places. (Which you should completely do). I would love to try those out also.

We had a very relaxing stay at this property. The space was uncluttered and comfortable. The views are just stunning. You are surrounded by nature while feeling protected from the elements. We had nightly visits from a family of deer and the cabin’s large windows are like a front row seat to all the beauty. There’s a stray cat who has seemed to learn the check in/out routines of the two cabins at this property , so you should expect a visit when you arrive. The cold plunge and sauna were so relaxing. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to use the hot tub bc we had some rainy weather.
The host was very responsive and clear in their instructions.
My only constructive feedback is that It was hard to tell if the coffee machine provided was clean or if the beans were fresh. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay.

What a long weekend. Stunning views of the entire valley, everything went smoothly, Landon was incredibly responsive and helpful. Everything went perfect without a glitch, was a perfect anniversary get away. We were very impressed, couldn't have asked for more. Everything (house amenities, hot tub, plunge pool) worked perfect, great bonfire setup. We even bought cheap tubes and floated the Shenandoah, public access ~1/4 mile away. Everything was great.

The cabins in Shenandoah offer a fantastic view and a phenomenal location to enjoy, whether visiting Luray or exploring the surrounding areas! Everyone was kind and helpful. Landon and his team provided an easy process for check-in, along with a top-notch guidebook that answered frequently asked questions, making it easy to manage our stay. If traveling with a family, please be aware that there are many ticks throughout town. Also, bring supplies to wipe down surfaces, as you'll be in the country. Cheers!

The view was gorgeous, the cabin was the perfect size for just my husband and I. The hot tub and sauna were amazing. We did not try the cold plunge, but it was clean, nice and cold. The fire pit was cozy and while we sat around the fire, we saw several deer coming through the area. The temperature in the cabin was perfect, the fireplace was a nice touch, and it was just a lovely place to getaway and relax. It was so quiet and peaceful, even though it rained all day it was still an amazing stay and experience! Definitely plan on coming back in the future. The host was very communicative and helpful! We accidentally booked the wrong dates and they worked quickly to adjust them for us and were super understanding!

This cabin is private, has a beautiful view, and the amenities are spectacular. Everything was clean, ready and exactly as pictured in the listing when we arrived. The glass wall and the porch had a great view. We enjoyed both the hot tub and the sauna in the cool evenings. The sauna was appreciated in particular as it is really nice and unusual to find. Definitely recommend for a couple’s retreat.

My wife and I booked this location for Valentine's Day. We wanted a spot where we could escape the world and just reconnect as a couple. This property fit the bill in every way. We were particularly worried about driving our electric vehicle to such a remote area. We were thrilled that there was a reliable, fast charger on the property. It is a Tesla charger, but with our converter, it worked well. Beautiful sunrises, wildlife, and super quiet. Could not have asked for a better experience.

This was one of the nicest Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in! Everything inside and out is very high quality, it’s in a great location, and I felt supported by Landon throughout. It was a perfect cozy, private space that made for the most relaxing weekend. The views through the giant window even made up for the bad weather we had. It was a little pricey, but worth it for a the amenities (we enjoyed the fire pit, sauna and cold plunge). We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay! It was my husband’s birthday on Christmas Eve, so we hopped out of town for a quick getaway to celebrate 🎉. The location under the stars at night was amazing! The hot tub was great on a freezing cold night! We were going to use the sauna in the morning but ran out of time. Note-turn on the heat as soon as you arrive, because it takes a little time to warm up 👍🏻. Beautiful Mountain View’s and very quiet and peaceful. We found a nice little local coffee shop in luray 15 mi. drive for the morning. It was called Broad Porch Coffee.
One note-before booking the address said location was close to Newport near Blacksburg VA. So we thought it was an hour from our home. It’s actually in the Shenandoah area, and there is another Newport near there. So it was actually 2:15 minutes from our home. It worked out fine, but just be aware where the actual location is when booking 👍🏻
This was a lovely stay. Hosts were wonderful. We would definitely recommend 💓

Landon’s place was amazing, we stayed two nights, which was enough to enjoy all this place has to offer. The check in and out was easy. This was a good secluded location, there is another cabin in view, but It did not take away from the peaceful atmosphere. We rarely noticed if it was occupied or not. There is also a local walmart less than 15 min away, which was perfect to get food,to use on the grill. Landon was very responsive. I enjoyed watching the sun rise from the hot tub, the view is immaculate. All the amenities were operational and a pleasure to use, my favorite being the sauna with the built in bluetooth. Overall this was the perfect, peaceful, two day getaway from Washington, DC. 10/10 recommend.

This was a perfect little cabin for an awesome retreat when visiting the Shenandoah National Park area. Landon was such a great, friendly, and helpful host. Although we got switched from Cabin 1 to Cabin 2 at the last minute, the two cabins are practically identical to each other.
The views from the cabin were spectacular, especially as the leaves started to turn colors. Driving up and along the gravel road, there were a herd of deer that greeted us by the side of the road which gave a magical feel to the place.
The virtual guidebook that Landon provided was super informative and pretty much answered any questions about the stay. The cabin itself was clean and fully stocked, and all the appliances and amenities seem very new and state-of-the art.
The only glitch was that the gas fireplace remote seemed to be out of batteries so we could not get it started even though Landon did his best to help troubleshoot the problem for us.
Overall, definitely worth 5 stars!

My husband and I had a great time spending a long anniversary weekend here. The house was just perfect and the views were spectacular. Every morning when we woke up we had coffee and watched the deer right outside peacefully grazing and the sunrise was just perfect. We really enjoyed all the amenities as well. The sauna was a nice way to start the day after coffee before our showers. The hot tub and fire pit were great ways to end our days. We enjoyed the nearby towns and wineries during the day. Wonderful views & to no fault of the owner we booked in a bad tropical storm. The place held up strong & was a nice place to ride out the storm. Once the couple day storm passed we enjoyed all the amenities. The sauna room with bluetooth speakers and a great mountain view was very nice. Of course the hot tub and bonfire spot came in handy and were relaxing. The view of the blue ridge mountains from the deck was special. The cabin is very stylish and well equipped, perfect for a husband-wife getaway. The store is only about 15 minutes away which made things easy for stocking the fridge. If you want to venture out of the mountains & into the city of Harrisonburg, Jimmy Madisons has a 3 level bar/restaurant with rooftop seating & great food. There is tons of state parks for hiking, fishing & a nearby by river for kayaking, fishing, or whatever which the tropical storm put a damper on for us but if nice out its only a stones throw away. My wife and I had a great time & would stay again.

This place was amazing! The views and tranquility you will experience is unmatched. The home is perfect for a quick getaway to reset and unwind.
The mornings were spent with coffee on the porch followed by a dip in the cold plunge. The evenings were spent with a glass of wine in the jacuzzi with a few minutes in the sauna before bed.
I highly recommend Landon’s place nestled in the mountains of Shenandoah!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Valley! The views were spectacular. We enjoyed watching the sunrise on the deck and looking out for the occasional visits from bunnies, deer, and songbirds. The mini retreat is beautifully appointed and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy, the shower was perfect and we loved the coffee bar. We also enjoyed the Frame TV artwork. The location is ideal for day trips to explore small towns in the area, numerous caverns, rafting and tubing, Skyline drive and hiking trails in beautiful Shenandoah National Park. Landon was very responsive messaging back and forth, but we didn’t need to ask him for a thing. The icing on the cake was the Tesla charger for our car!

This has been our favorite rental to stay in when it came to amenities. We took full advantage of the amazing sauna, cold plunge and hot tub. The location felt very private and peaceful even though there was another cabin nearby. The view was spectacular and at first we were worried that we wouldn’t be among trees, but that didn’t bother us one bit. Landon was a great communicator and made us feel welcome. The cabin was spotless and comfortable, we even appreciated that there was a king bed despite the tight squeeze. A lot of thought and care was put into this property and it shows. I would highly recommend any of Landon’s rentals in the future if they are anything like this one.

We had a great time staying at Landon’s cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains! The cabin was the perfect size and had all the right amenities for a quick get away.
It’s centrally located between a couple small towns and there were plenty of options for places to eat or grab coffee. The kitchen was well appointed and we ended up cooking most of our meals there over our stay.
It was a little too hot the weekend we visited to make the most of the sauna and the hot tub, but we will be back to enjoy those in another season. The porch, view, and comfortable places to relax kept us busy throughout our stay.

Overall we had a great stay, we did have the power go out which almost forced us to leave for a night but we don’t blame the host for that, communication during that situation could have been a little better though. We also had a day of rain which revealed that some of the furniture inside could have been more comfortable.
Overall it was a great experience and all the amenities were exactly as described! Would recommend but know that all that you get doesn’t come cheap if your on a budget!

Beautiful, private location for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. While the place is the perfect setting for a couples getaway, we were traveling from out of state with our two children but couldn’t pass up the opportunity to stay at Blue Ridge. Whew! Landon when you see this, please know that if the option to live in this cabin was available, I would take it in a heartbeat.
This charming cabin was perfect for our quiet, unplugged couples getaway. This listing is immaculate and perfectly stocked with whatever you’d need. The kitchen was equipped with pots, pans, baking sheets, utensils and even tupperware to save leftovers in its two door fridge.You can whip up some midnight cookies in the microwave oven, or impress with your “grill master” skills on the deck.
The bathroom is set with extra bath and hot tub/ sauna towels.Toiletries are provided in the sliding door shower and for all my curly haired folks like myself, you’d love to know that there is a hair dryer AND diffuser available as well.
The comfy bedroom has plush bedding.
Bathrobes and yoga mats allow morning sauna sessions or stretching.
Landon is an exceptional host. He is responsive, helpful and kind. If you are looking to stay here, don’t hesitate, book !

The cabin is absolutely amazing! It’s modern, clean, cosy and the surroundings are just beautiful! We planned for a busy trip of hiking but very easily spent a whole day relaxing in the cabin, the window exposure gives you the best of both with the cosy atmosphere inside and the views of the national park from the sofa. We woke up to watch the sunrise some mornings which was another amazing sight right from the living room along with the families of deers that frequently pop out to feed close to the cabin😍 The hosts were great and made themselves very available although we already had everything we needed from the cabin! Could not recommend this place enough, the images look incredible and it 100% lived up to that! Our favourite activity was the sunrise hike, we woke up at 4am and drove to the national park to the Hawksbill Summit trail and watched the sun rise over the mountains which was unforgettable! A tough trail given the elevation but definitely worth it! Thank you Landon again🩷

I’m not sure where to start! 1st off, Landon’s place is BREATH TAKING! The scenery was beyond amazing. The cabin had all of the necessary amenities to make us feel at home. There were easy to follow instructions and Landon was very responsive if I had any questions.
-The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, a coffee machine and other necessary utensils, so cooking was a breeze.
- The bedroom had a super comfy bed, with fluffy, clean blankets.
- The living room was cozy with the esthetically pleasing fireplace and ceiling to floor windows, over looking the mountains.
- The sauna, jacuzzi, fire place and cold plunge were all very relaxing.
The only somewhat downfall to this home was the insulation. Because we’re in a cold month, the place was relatively chilly. We had the heating units on 80 but there was still a cold draft in the home. We compensated with the provided blankets and made it work.
Overall, we had a great stay! I’ve have multiple people ask me for the listing

This was a perfect Valentines Getaway for my wife and I. We were looking for something specifically private and peaceful and this was just perfect. Place looked as amazing as the photos. As soon as we saw the pictures, we wanted to have a private get away and it didn't disappoint. The cabin was exactly as described only better. Beautiful mountain views in a private yet accessible setting. Landon's directions made it easy to find and get inside. The cabin was immaculate and tastefully furnished. It is small but perfect for a couple. Everything worked well from the Jura coffee maker to the TV to the fireplace. The WiFi was very good. The hot tub and sauna were wonderful. One wall of the sauna is glass so it didn't have a closed in feeling.The bed was very comfortable with new linens. There were plenty of towels. One day we visited old town Winchester and the next old town Charlottesville, both an easy drive. Landon was very responsive, even sending a message to see how we were doing. We never had t wait long for him to respond. We will definitely be back.
