Chesapeake Point

This home is BEAUTIFUL! The photos don't do it justice. We were there for a mini family reunion and the space was perfect. Lots of room to spread out or hang out together. We spent most of our time on the deck overlooking the water, in the hot tub and enjoying fire pit. Sadly for us, it was too chilly to enjoy all the water activities, but we'd love to come back in warmer weather to do so.
The hosts are extremely responsive and great to work with.
The one drawback is there's not a lot to do in the area, but it was wonderful for what we wanted - relaxing time with family in a beautiful setting.

Absolutely breathtaking views! This house was private with so much to do from inside to outside. We enjoyed the fire pit at night with a wonderful surprise of seeing a falling star and a comet. We used the kayaks during the morning to explore and take in the amazing surroundings. The house was fully equipped and well-stocked!!! Landon was extremely communicative and responded quickly. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!!!

We had a large group come out to this property and were absolutely taken aback by the beauty of the home and the property itself. We were able to enjoy our time swimming, playing various sports outdoors, enjoying the hot tub, and the home itself. As a host, Landin did Ana amazing job always being responsive and offering clear instructions and local recommendations. We were extremely happy with our stay and look forward to potentially coming back again!

The house was perfect for our holiday gathering. The two dining room tables and 3 couches helped us to be together as a family. The backyard was stunning and the views from the kitchen were beautiful. We especially loved the sunroom. We loved using the kayaks to search for the eagles flying around the river and just enjoy the beautiful views. We would rent this house again.

This property was incredible -- spacious, beautifully decorated, well equipped, lakefront and on 72 acres. All I can give it is A+ across the board. The photos online do not do justice to the house or grounds, we were all pleasantly surprised when we got there (please bring in a professional to retake your online marketing photos). The only iffy thing was wifi service which wasn't strong (2g), however, that may be a plus depending on who you ask. Gave us an opportunity to unplug and be present, however, someone that needs to work while staying at the property would need a better connection. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable and except for contacting the host regarding wifi, we did not reach out to the host one time. Everything we needed we found and more. Would definitely return in the future.

Beautiful spacious house!
This house matches the description. It was spacious, beautiful, clean and homey! The views of the river are beautiful no matter the season. We went with a few families- ages ranged from 9 months to 65 years old and it was perfect for everyone! Full of games for the kids and plenty of eating and sleeping space. The host was super communicative so there was never a problem getting answers to questions. The house was stocked with everything you could need for a long weekend. Overall the experience was wonderful!

Stayed in a lot of rented locations around the US and Europe and this was the best home and location I've stayed in. The home is better than the pictures and, if you cannot relax here, you won't be able to relax anywhere. We had a birthday celebration for some 80+ year olds and it was a great time.
Highlights:
- Secluded and quiet.
- Wonderful, unobstructed water views.
- Tree spacing in the yard, which I don't usually pay attention to, really helped compliment the house and backyard.
- Yard was much bigger than the pictures made it seem.
- Spacing inside the house was great so that our family and friends were not on top of each other.
- Bedrooms are quiet and couches were comfortable.
- We did not try the outdoor hot tub, but it looked inviting.
- Lots of amenities and supplies.

- Communicative and professional.
- We had storms go through one night during our stay and lost power. The host made things right for us. Thank you again.

We had an absolutely amazing time on our family vacation at Landon’s place ! The house was beyond beautiful inside and out.
One of our most favorite things was that from almost every window is the most gorgeous view of the bay !!
Extremely spacious , clean , comfortable beds and plenty of towels and toiletries .
The kitchen was stocked with lots of cookware , dishes , and spices too!
Outside provided plenty of parking which was very helpful since there were 16 of us.
The deck was spacious with lots of seating . The hot tub was a great temperature and also very clean. The kayaks were a lot of fun to use too !
We made so many wonderful memories celebrating our family and Grammys 92 Birthday ?..
We hope to come back again soon ! Thanks for having such a fantastic place Landon !

Our family (9 adults & 6 children) spent 3 beautiful days at Chesapeake Point. The house is amazing and had everything that we needed…. comfortable beds, plenty of space to relax and all the amenities we could ask for. The spacious yard was a plus as well – room for children & adults to play. Although close to Elkton for quick trips to the store for anything we forgot, the property was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the deck with hot tub and grill as well as the beach for playing in the sand. Kayaks, paddleboard and fire pit were used daily. We definitely recommend this property and would love to use it again in the future.

The house was lovely and accommodated our group of 9 very easily. It’s a great gathering spot for a large group. We were visiting for a wedding and had many activities over the course of our trip. But we did spend an afternoon kayaking and enjoying the water. We had a lot of rain and wind. The only suggestion I would have is the bed linens. The pillows and bed linens were just ok. If you don’t expect luxury linens you will be fine. We flew across country so could not bring our own.

Landon was wonderful to deal with! Very responsive! The home was beautiful and easily accommodated our 15 guests. The location on the river was so peaceful and quiet. It was so relaxing sitting by the fire pit at night. I highly recommend this home to anyone with a large group who is looking to be away from the hustle and bustle and wants to literally lay back and relax!

This house was exactly as pictured in the photos - clean and nicely furnished. Plenty of space for our group of 18 to spread out. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather which enabled us to take advantage of the outdoor space. Having a dining space that allowed us all to eat together was a real bonus. Beds and living room furniture were very comfortable. The bedroom with 4 queen beds was a little awkward since the majority of our group were adults but we knew about this configuration from photos. Highly recommend this house for large gatherings!

This home is great and spacious for large group. We have an awesome time spending time on the deck and hot tub. It rained on one of the days we were there but they have games and space for indoor activities. I highly recommend this home for anyone with large group. Very accommodating and welcoming.

Landon's property has breathtaking views and incredibly peaceful. There is ample space in the house and it is well furnished with cozy bedrooms and a great game room for kids and adults. We had a terrific stay at Landon’s beautiful (and huge!) house right on the water. Our group of 18 felt right at home and also had plenty of room to spread out. It was a winter stay, so we didn’t get on the water, but we made a lot of use of the firepit and hot tub. This is a great place to stretch out in a large group — extremely peaceful. Landon’s word of warning about the WiFi is right — it’s definitely not fast enough for, say, a video call, and we had a couple of lagging issues with streaming. But that’s a minor note on an otherwise fantastic weekend. We would love to return here or to any of Landon’s other properties. Thanks for being a great host!

We caught a picturesque Indian summer with all the glory. During our stay we saw Blue Heron, Bald Eagles, and a variety of Ducks and Geese against the peak fall foliage. Several species of fish were caught and released over the weekend right off the beach. The Moon and Sunrises over the Elk River may have been the best part. All our guests were comfortable and satisfied with the accommodations. We sourced all of our needs locally. There is plenty of great places in North East and Charlestown.. Don't be afraid to explore.

We thoroughly enjoyed spending six nights in this spotless and comfortable house with gorgeous views of the river. This is an excellent place for large family gatherings, with a hot tub and fire pit outside, and a fabulous game room and work out space for fun and exercise, rain or shine. The surrounding countryside is lovely, and farm stands and fresh seafood are readily available. Landon is an outstanding host who answered all our questions promptly and graciously. We will definitely be back next year!

Fantastic house in an off-the-grid location, ideal for large groups wanting to unwind and enjoy beautiful views, water sports, bon fires, with plenty of space to hang out, unwind and connect. This house provided us with a location to come together, catch up, share laughs and make a few more wonderful memories with enough space for quiet downtime, a workout, or space to play games and laugh loudly without fear of disrupting others. The wifi isn't the best, but that was of little concern to most of us. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property and very well stocked with supplies. The private beach is on a bay with very calm water - perfect for young kids. Would love to come back when it’s warmer! Wifi wasn’t the fastest and the signal wasn’t great at the far end of the house, so just be prepared for that.

BY FAR THE BEST AIRBNB I HAVE STAYED IN! My family loved their stay here! The home itself is very spacious. We had a group of 16 that was very comfortable. The grounds and the beach are Beautiful! It makes you feel like you are on a Island. The host was great with communication!Any issue that may arise they are right on top of it. We will definitely be visiting this property again!

Staying at Chesapeake Point is an amazing experience! The house is great for families and large groups looking to get off the grid, connect with one another, and enjoy nature. Perfect for anyone who likes to be on the water (boaters ? and floaters ? alike). Highly recommend heading into town (North East) to Woody’s or Steak & Main. The house’s large indoor tables are great for a crab feast at home, too (we ordered from BnB Seafood). Looking forward to vacationing here again soon!

Landon was awesome, really great house. It was massive and tons of fun stuff to do. Even had a nice weightroom. We were in town for a lacrosse tournament and all of our family really enjoyed our stay.
