Comfort at the Commons

Foremost, this airbnb is classy. The location was not quite what we expected, being near the heart of Kidron, but blinds in every window made the space feel disconnected from local businesses surrounding it. In addition, there are bathrooms on every floor and lots of kitchen amenities other airbnbs don't always have (like a toaster, mixing & baking dishes, etc). Our family appreciated the open floor plan on the first floor for gathering; the house was aesthetically decorated and appealing. We ran into two issues: one, the infinity table was missing its power cable (likely due to theft from a previous guest - so if you're reading this, don't be like that; be awesome for the hosts and for future guests) - not their fault; two, winter storm Ezra, which our host was quick to do everything he could to help - from making sure snow was shoveled and walkways salted to allowing us more time to prepare for leaving with reasonable negotiations. I would recommend this amazing spot to anyone!

Honestly, I do not know if I have ever given a straight 5 star review before but this place absolutely earned it. As clean and comfortable as you can get. Great communication. And a coffee shop and grocery store just steps away!

Our annual Girls Trip was great and the house suited us well. The rooms were big enough and we loved the fact that each bedroom either had a King or Queen size bed. The kitchen was big enough for multiple women doing multiple things. I would definitely stay here again!I do have some suggestions: I could not find a fly swatter. I would like to see outlet covers for small children (which we had). The carpeted floors were clean but the tiled floors were not. They actually turned your bare feet black.

Great property. Great location. Pretty clean. We wished there was cable to watch TV at night. There is not very good cell service outsude the house, so plug your destination in prior to leaving the house.

What a wonderful house! It was big and comfortable and clean. The kitchen had all the tools that we needed. All of the beds were comfortable and the game table provided a bit of fun. We went to a few musicals performed by Ohio Light Opera (excellent) and otherwise played games, ate, went for a hike (there's a nice waterfall hike nearby), and shopped in Wooster. It was a terrific family reunion.My husband and I were in the basement bedroom and there did not seem to be any way to turn the A/C down in that room, so it was quite cold (better too cold than too hot though). My husband, who is a retired Mechanical Engineer who designed HVAC systems suggested that you insulate duct work - it might save you money and not freeze the basement.

We had a great time in this beautifully renovated home. The kitchen was clean, roomy, well stocked and appreciated the coffee provided for us. The room darkening shades and washer and dryer were a plus with little ones. Plenty of room to enjoy family time.

Comfort at the Commons is everything you could want in a BNB. The house is immaculate, spacious, & beautifully decorated. Our kids absolutely loved the Infinity game table. The kitchen is perfect for cooking, but the Wild Fox Café has delicious food right next door if you’d rather eat out. The only problem you might have during your stay is deciding that you love the area so much you don’t want to leave. If that happens to you, there’s a convenient solution -- the best realtor in northeast Ohio (Eli Troyer) works in the office building next door! Overall a top-notch stay, & definitely earns a perfect 5-star rating!

This was a great house, great location and so cozy. Landon was an incredible host and the house and location were perfect for a weekend getaway. Very close to a lot of great attractions and restaurants. Very charming location and a fantastic stay! Would recommend to anyone!

Very clean and nice !! We loved the area and all the amenities that came with the house. Also the pizza place and cafe were awesome.
The only thing we would change is the parking lot being away from right outside the home. I had three ladies who have a lot of health issues .. other than that it was perfect. Landon was wonderful in communication and so helpful !!

Everything was superb. My team and I were in town for a business project and everyone was able to rest comfortably. I loved the room in the basement because it’s its own oasis. The customer service is great! I will definitely book again if ever I’m in town. Highly recommend.

Very well maintained. Kitchen was very well stocked and conveniently placed for dining. Could use a larger dining table and definitely more dining chairs/bench. The front playroom area was an amazing surprise. It had a bed and a fun electric game table with all sorts of board games. Adults and kids both enjoyed using it. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice. Our stay was beyond great and we would book this house again

Landon's place was clean and spacious. it was exactly what my family needed since it was a last minute getaway with my daughter coming home from college for spring break. We enjoyed the scenic surroundings of the Amish area. This Airbnb was super convenient, right next to a coffee/breakfast place and a pizza place. Across the street is a nice grocery store offering everything you would need should you forget to bring something from home. Down the street is a store called Lehmans which is like a huge general store that is definitely a must see. Landon the host was super nice and checking in on us to see if we needed anything several times during the stay. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area in the future.

This house is newly renovated and aesthetically pleasing with everything you need. Bed was comfortable. The children had lots of fun with the game table. Loved the easy access to Wild Fox across the parking lot and grocery store across the road.
