Cottage at High Cross Farms

We were very happy with this house. The house was very clean and cozy. Easy instructions and always able to get in touch with someone if needed. Very friendly owners and neighbors. Farm animals were cool to have around the house and were friendly.

Our group had an amazing time. We booked tickets for a day in Hershey Park (about 25 minutes away), but easily could have spent the whole weekend at the property. The owners were incredibly kind and hospitable. We will certainly be returning.

We had a wonderful time with our grandchildren! They enjoyed the farm animals. The farm is a very peaceful place. While having coffee on the porch, we saw a bald eagle dive in and capture a fish from the pond. The eagle stayed at the edge of the pond, ate, and then spread his wings to move on. Spectacular!

We had an amazing time! The house was beautiful and accommodated my family perfectly. We had full access to everything. We fed the animals with fruits and vegetables we bought at the nearby Giant supermarket. We were greeted by one of the residents that lived on the property ( there are a few houses on the land but it still felt like it was just us there) but super friendly. We met the owners of the property Clair and Bonnie..I don’t know how often that happens but they were so friendly to us. Bonnie gave us fresh eggs from the chicken coup, Clair gave my son a pony ride, and told us we have access to everything! I was ready to extend our stay! They even invited us to stay for lunch. My family and I sat by the fire pit and made wonderful memories. The only thing was trying to lock the door. There is a small switch on the lock you need to slide over for the door to lock when you enter the code. It will say door locked. 10/10 we can’t wait to go back! Thank you for an amazing experience!

We had an amazing experience at Landon’s cottage. The space was clean, spacious and well stocked with everything we needed. The surrounding area is beautiful and quiet. The kids loved playing outside and seeing all the animals. We had a chance to meet the owner of the farm and he was so kind to our family. This truly was one of the best vacations we had in a long time. We hope we have a chance to come back!

The Cottage at High Cross Farms is a stunning landscape with a pond, fountain, pasture, forested trails & beautiful sunrises & sunsets. The Host were very accommodating, offering us many extras we had not expected. Our grandson was able to visit the farm animals, including, ponies, goats, chickens, a miniature cow and even alpacas. The large magnificent event barn was an extra that was well worth it. We had a wonderful family gathering, generating memories that will last a life time.

Such a lovely space! The grounds are great and the actual family who owned it are awesome. Property is managed by a 3rd party so a few things getting booked such as a third party agreement is not as smooth, but once figured out is quite easy. House is adorable. Upstairs two bed room has a window AC. The sitting room too was outside the AC range, but it worked. The rest of the house was perfect. Even with this, I would totally rebook. The petting zoo, location and grounds were fabulous!

There aren't enough stars for this place. Incredible home and grounds. Friendly and available property owners with plenty of privacy when preferred. This place is the absolute perfect blend of rustic charm and modern class. We were celebrating my daughter's 9th birthday with a weekend at Hershey Park. The distance was far enough away from the touristy vibe but close enough to make the back and forth ride for the weekend. The animals, the fire pit, the pond, grounds, the home, and the owner's are above and beyond what I expected. I am already coordinating with some friends to plan another trip. I did have one regret though.... initially we were going to stay 3 nights but opted to save a little money and only did two. Wish we had more time there!

The High Cross Farms was a beautiful place to stay. Staff were so kind and the animals were very friendly. The space had everything we needed. I would say the only downside was the temperature of the home. When we arrived, the A/C was too high for our 80-90 degree weekend with high humidity. One of the rooms upstairs had no A/C and we had to install the AC unit ourselves, which meant cutting and fitting styrofoam for the window to put the hose out. We had to personally purchase two box fans just to offset the heat and it still wasn't completely comfortable. Just a heads up for anyone staying during the summertime!

This was a great place to stay. Owners were very welcoming to my family. Granddaughter loved the horses, donkeys, dumpling (the mini cow), chickens, and fish. She got to feed all the animals. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves the country.

We really enjoyed our stay! Our daughter had a basketball tournament at Spooky Nook, and we had a very short drive compared to some of her teammates. The property is beautiful, and the hosts are so kind and genuinely want you to explore and feel at home. Our kids especially loved visiting and learning about the animals! This place was amazing. We wanted somewhere we could stay and have our kids and grandbaby all together with us. It ended up being only 7 mins away from our PA family. I can see us renting again when we come visit from TN. We met the owner of the property and he was so kind and welcoming. Felt like family!

This property was simply amazing; high on the list of favorites to date! Our family was in town for soccer and needed a place to rest and unwind after long tournament days. This property had ample space, comfortable living, friendly property staff and so much beautiful scenery to take in.
