Harbor View Haven

We had a wonderful stay at Harbor View Haven! The waterfront views were beautiful, and the home was clean, spacious, and well-equipped for a relaxing getaway. We especially enjoyed using the kayaks to explore the water and relaxing in the hot tub after a day outdoors. One of the highlights was watching bald eagles perched nearby and soaring across the water in search of their next catch—it was an unforgettable sight. Just a 10-minute drive from Chestertown and Washington College for dining, shopping, and exploring. The host was responsive, and check-in was seamless. We would happily stay here again!

We came from Utah and could have selected anywhere on the east coast to stay. We were looking for a quiet peaceful waterfront location and that is exactly what we found. Eagles flying by, Osprey, Pelicans, Deer, the wild life is amazing. Cozy little place that was just what we hoped for. Kayaking on the water as the sun came up. Incredible sunset views from the hot tub.

5/5 across the board!
The location on the river is the main selling point. But the amenities complete the experience - hot tub, fire pit, bikes, kayaks.
Our group of 6 had plenty of living space, and the home was perfect for a daytime bbq we had for extended friends and family over Washington College graduation weekend.
Bed linens were all top quality. And the kitchen was fully stocked...including plenty of coffee, we didn't need to bring our own.

Landon's home in Chestertown was just lovely! The home is immaculate. It was spacious and clean and thoughtfully decorated and equipped. The outdoor space was scenic and peaceful. We enjoyed doing some bird watching throughout the day. We had some issues getting into the home at check-in but Landon responded right away to our messages. Six of us stayed in the home and everyone felt comfortable. It was a great home base while doing some work in Chestertown, especially since we had young children in tow. Would highly recommend, and have already booked another stay for our trip to close out this project.

We had a galentine's getaway and absolutely loved the layout and style of the home. We had some trouble turning on the firepit outside but overall the place was a great getaway. If you are staying here for an extended time I would recommend to bring your own pots and pans as the selection is smaller in size. That said the location is great, the lake view is peaceful and the sleeping arrangements were excellent. We would def recommend for a small peaceful retreat.

Everything was great. Very clean. Beautiful views. Nice and quiet. One thing I noticed. The large bathroom does not have silicone on the joints. Such a nice tile job, just worried that the water will make its way to the substrate. I will definitely be returning. Thanks for everything!!

Perfect for rest and relaxation! Beautiful home and property. Loved the screened-in porch and dock. Kayaking, eagles, herons, osprey, pretty sunsets. Neighborhood nice for morning and evening walks. Charlestown, St. Michaels, Adkins Arboretum, Eastern Neck Wildlife Refuge are all nearby and great for day trips.
Landon and his team are awesome. House was exceptionally clean and they thought of all the essentials you might possible need. We appreciated the suggestions for “things to do” in the area. Thank you!

We had an incredible stay! The pictures don’t do justice to the beauty of the property. The house is cozy and comfortable. It was just the two of us so we didn’t need the additional space upstairs - but there’s plenty of room for a family trip. The kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked with basics. The bed slept great - very quiet and peaceful. The screened patio was perfect for dining. However, it was outdoors where we spent the most time. There were so many things to do, including tubing, fishing, crabbing, birdwatching and our favorite: relaxing in the chairs on the dock. We used the fire pit for cool nights. There is a small public dock and beach adjacent to the house. It was never noisy or intrusive and is a good place to launch kayaks. Property was well-maintained and we didn’t have any issues. Also, our host Landon was super friendly and so responsive! Before our trip, he provided lots of clear guidance and helpful tips! It was an amazing getaway! We’ll be back soon!!

Great place with professional host. AC controller broke down unexpectedly but the host and owners reacted within minutes and a repairman was onsite within an hour of my initial message and resolved the issue soon after. The place is exactly as described with the bonus of an osprey nest right on their pier. It was quite precious to get a close up of the osprey family and other wildlife nearby. We would book again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We came to relax and this home did not disappoint! The views of the water from the house and walking out onto the pier are breathtaking. Everything in the home was exactly as described. Coffee in the morning and late nights on the enclosed porch were heavenly. We found the El Rancho Mexican Cuisine and The Retriever (Great Oysters & service) to be among our favorites to eat. FYI, If you're used to a full breakfast be prepared to cook. Many places we found specialized in Coffee, Pastries, and Breakfast Sandwiches. The only issue we encountered were ants! I contacted Landon and he advised where to locate a can of Raid in the house. I sprayed the infected areas and by the next morning the ant issue was resolved. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves inside the home (where we mostly stayed due to inclimate weather) and outside loving nature! We drove to a nearby beach and had the Bay to ourselves! 5 Stars!

We came to Chestertown to relax for a few days and celebrate my birthday. The house was perfect. Located on the water in a quiet neighborhood, we enjoyed sitting outside, reading, and watching the ospreys hunting fish to feed their two chicks who were in the nest located on the house dock. This home exceeded all of our expectations! It was peace, tranquility, relaxation, and adventure, all wrapped up under one roof. The location was fantastic! Close to marinas, a farmers market, and cute shops. The home was impeccably clean & comfortable, it had everything we needed down to the soap and lotion in the bathrooms. The views were simply unmatched. Arrive before sunset, you won’t regret it! We had a couple extra visitors (eagles and ospreys) along with a ton of other wildlife along the water. The hot tub, bikes, and kayaks were my guests favorite part! Book this stay if you are looking for an all inclusive stay with endless possibilities of relaxation and fun!

Our stay was very comfortable. The place had everything we needed to cook as well as for kids to play. The inflatables, toys and pool table were hits with our group. There are two beautiful piers with amazing sunset views at the back of the house. The walk in the community was pretty peaceful too. Landon was responsive. We had some trouble locating the lock box at the front door that resulted in trouble during the check in. You need to press a button to see the lock box on the door. We realized late that we were using the wrong lock box.

Stay here!! You will love it! We felt like we were at a resort. This home is perfect. It feels brand new and was so clean and fresh. Amenities were fabulous. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was thought of— plenty of comfortable outdoor seating, lots of towels and blankets, dreamy beds, awesome outdoor equipment (we were able to kayak both days!), stunning hot tub, fire pit, the VIEW!!! We loved watching the ospreys build their nest. We felt so at peace here.

If you are looking for a safe and peaceful getaway with great views, beautiful scenery and wonderful amenities, this is the place for you!
The house is extremely spacious and offers room for a decent sized group to stay comfortably. Oh and the hot tub was PERFECT for creating a feel of overall wellness and relaxation.

If you're thinking about booking this property hurry up and do it! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. My husband and I went up with a few friends for a New Year retreat. Despite the freezing temps the house was cozy and comfortable and the hot tub was so relaxing! The kitchen is well stocked and the grocery is just a few minutes away (and they deliver!). I was able to cook all weekend for our group with no issues. Landon is so friendly, proactively made great suggestions for local fun, provided an in-depth guide to the property and local area, and was quick and responsive when we had questions. 10/10 recommend; would definitely book again. We reserved the house during the Christmas holiday. It was the perfect space for my family. The open floor plan downstairs made it easy to be together as a family. That said, our two sons used the upstairs living room for video games and hanging out. They loved having their own space to get away. They also used the ping pong table in the garage.
We cooked several meals at the house and the kitchen provided everything that was needed-- even for a group of 8 who dined with us on Christmas Day. (The round dining table seats six. There's also a card table and additional chairs that came in handy).
The #1 highlight was the beautiful view onto the water. So wonderful watching the geese. The sunrises were gorgeous and we also loved sitting in the hot tub and gazing up at the stars.
We can't wait to come back!

This place is a complete setup… we had plans on dinner every night, nature walks etc, none of which we did. The home, the backyard, the beautiful jacuzzi, the comfortable beds, the cleanliness … we barely left, we fell in love with the place immediately. The kitchen is fully stocked, MORE than enough clean towels and jacuzzi towels and toiletries. Landon was extremely responsive. I plan to visit again in the summer.

Beautifully designed and decorated house in a residential neighborhood. Plenty of comfortable places inside and out to gather. Just a short drive to town, but far enough away to escape the traffic and crowds. Access to the water is a little tricky as there is a short but steep bank and the dock is rather high above the water

The house and property were wonderful! The views from the patio, deck and porch were magnificent! The lightning in and outside of the house was warm and welcoming. The owners had a welcome basket of goodies in the counter in the kitchen when we arrived! Such a nice touch! The house was detailed with so many amenities , from shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms to a well stocked kitchen where everything was new and beautifully organized. We loved it!

We have stayed at quite a few rentals and this one exceeded our expectations. It's as quiet, serene, and private a setting as one could hope for. The house itself was extremely clean and comfortable with many options both inside and outside for sitting and taking in the view. (we were lucky to have some killer sunsets as a bonus!) Loved the screened-in porch & patio. Kayaks, bikes, ping pong, cornhole, and a neighborhood perfect for flat daily walks provide plenty of options for exercise - although just sitting and taking in the view with the resident pair of bald eagles doing daily flyovers is not a bad way to enjoy the property. Chestertown is about a six-minute drive away with cute shops and some great eats. (Don't miss the Evergrain Bread Co.) Additionally, Landon is very easy to reach and responds immediately if you have a question. Will return to this house in the future when a few days of R&R are needed. Can't be beat.

Kitchen not as well stocked for cooking as some other homes of similar caliber, but certainly adequate. Space is also indeed smaller than it appears on pics. My family had a great vacation this past week and the accommodations were awesome. even with 104 degree temps the home maintained a comfortable 70 temperature. The boat lift and dock area was perfect. i’ve done many rentals and this one was the best. it is everything as advertised. They answered all my questions prior and during our stay. the property is super clean and well maintained. If a quiet stay on the chester river is what you want. look no further. 10 minute drive to town but very secluded. Awesome sunsets. There was an osprey nest right on the dock. seen deer,eagles,ducks and a turtle. Not to mention we caught several crabs from the dock. 5 minute boat ride to 213 bridge and marina. 10 minutes to i think it was called sandbox beach bar. We will revisit this place for sure. plenty of beds and space for my family.

We enjoyed a four night five day stay at Landon’s beautiful property on the Chester River.
The accommodations were perfect for us and the location on the river was absolutely stunning. We ate all her meals on the screened in porch and enjoyed the evenings on the back patio and in the hot tub.
We took along our kayaks and paddle boards and use the two provided by Landon so the whole family could go out on the river, it was wonderful.
The kiddos enjoyed fishing off the Community pier right next to the house, catching a lot of little “put back” fish.
There was an osprey nest at the end of the dock. We enjoyed watching her and the father feed the chicks and it became a highlight of the trip.
Our stay at Landon‘s house was lovely, we hope to go back again.

Looks smaller than pictures, but spotless clean and stylish interior and nicely furnished, more over stuffs for fun, kayak, bicycles, balls and hot tub! Wonderful view!
If you want to cook, kitchen appliances are little bit old, which is really minor. Landon is quick to respond and takes care of things very well.
It was one of the best memory of family vacation!

Upon arrival at this very special spot my friends and I felt instantly at ease. The home is immaculate and well situated. It is cozy and inviting. The atmosphere is calming, inside and out. There are plenty of options for an ultimate lounging experience! Living room downstairs, sweet hangout area upstairs, upper deck with a super comfy set up that is perfect for watching the Mama Osprey in her nest! Outdoor patio seating, adirondack chairs by the fire pit and … our favorite place of all to lounge was the hot tub!! Gazing at the stars while the fireflies were twinkling was incredible! We kayaked, and floated around on the inner tubes and had so much fun playing ping pong. The sunsets were phenomenal! This Airbnb was all that we hoped it would be and more! Watching the Osprey in her nest with her babies was a highlight for us. Landon is a fantastic host and this house is top notch!! Chestertown has some cute shops and a great bookstore and we loved Modern Stone Age Kitchen for breakfast!

We had a wonderful weekend at this property. The beautiful waterfront views make the property the perfect place to unwind and have a relaxing vacation. There’s also a generous amount of outdoor seating to soak up the sun and take in the beautiful views. The property has everything you need for your stay, all you need to do is load up the refrigerator with groceries. There’s a BBQ grill, all the utensils you need and seasonings for cooking. What an awesome place! Everyone said it was one of the best places we ever stayed at. Exceptionally clean, roomy, quality furnishings, great location - something for everyone! My favorite was watching the pair of ospreys building their nest right off Landon's dock. The hot tub was a hit with the crowd, and they enjoyed the bikes and kayaks. We had ping pong matches, as well as corn hole games for the competitive gang. The round table was excellent for the many board games played in the evenings. Loved sitting around the firepits at night. Backyard was perfect for the egg hunt for my grandchildren. Thanks for sharing with us!

In a word...beautiful. We decided to rent this home to relax and get away from it all and it didn't disappoint. We enjoyed the views while hanging outside at both firepits and enjoying the toasty warm hottub. We even had a chance to take the kayaks out and loved feeling like we were the only ones on the water. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for the perfect get away. And, such a bonus that we were only 7min from downtown were they have a farmers market every Sat. We loved the boat ramp next to your house for launching kayaks with our elderly parents who cannot launch from a dock anymore. Back sitting are was fantastic.

My boyfriend and I spent Fourth of July weekend at Landon’s property. It was easy to find in a nice quiet and scenic neighborhood. The house was gorgeous and the backyard was even better! We used it as a home base to travel to the surrounding areas all 30min-2hours away like Annapolis MD, Rehoboth Beach DE, St Michaels MD, and West Chester PA. The hot tub was lovely and clean and the beds were comfy (although, if you are a sensitive sleeper bring your own pillows!). We definitely want to come back here with friends to take advantage of the spacious house, kayaks and bikes. Great host and property, would recommend :)

We absolutely loved this house and location! We were in town for a HOT Lacrosse tourney and this house was perfect for multi-family as well as separate space for the girls to enjoy! So peaceful with so much to do and relaxing to come back to after a long day. The house is beautifully decorated with very nice quality decor and extras… even down to the shampoo/conditioner provided! We spent most of our time outside and had plenty of options for relaxing (hot tub, fire pit, sunset watching) or adventures (fishing, kayaking, biking). My husband's favorite thing was the coffee maker and mine was the screened in porch where we played card games every night (followed closely by all the eagle spottings!). A perfect spot to spend a weekend with the family.

Our family had a wonderful stay here. The house was impeccably clean, beautiful, and fully stocked with anything we could need. We love to cook, and the kitchen had everything we needed and more - including a beautiful view! We had a great time on the water. It was almost impossible to pull the kids away! Kids and adults both enjoyed water toys, kayaks, and just relaxing on the dock. I’d give this property more than 5 stars if I could!

We absolutely loved this house and location! We were in town for a HOT Lacrosse tourney and this house was perfect for multi-family as well as separate space for the girls to enjoy! So peaceful with so much to do and relaxing to come back to after a long day. The house is beautifully decorated with very nice quality decor and extras… even down to the shampoo/conditioner provided! We spent most of our time outside and had plenty of options for relaxing (hot tub, fire pit, sunset watching) or adventures (fishing, kayaking, biking). Much better and probably cheaper than a hotel for sure!! Thanks for the memories!

Such a beautiful home & setting! The house had wonderful furnishings & the space worked well for our group of 9. The house had lots of little touches like extra towels & linens & nice toiletries. The outdoor spaces, including the hot tub were amazing to sit & enjoy the spectacular view! Great place to stay!!!

This is an outstanding property that lives up to any traveler's expectations. The home is very clean and offers so many ways to relax and unwind - from comfortable sofas and the "boat bed" (great for afternoon naps), to the hot tub just off the screened-in porch. The back of the house, with its large picture windows facing the water, offered us many opportunities to watch gorgeous sunsets, as well as extremely active birdlife (think Bald Eagles and Ospreys, as well as Blue Herons). For more active pursuits, kayaks and canoes can be dropped right into the water from the property's dock. We also used this property as a launching point to explore much of what the Eastern Shore has to offer with its historic towns, especially with Chestertown only a five-minute drive away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and were thrilled to have found such a great property.

My boyfriend and I spent Fourth of July weekend at Landon’s property. It was easy to find in a nice quiet and scenic neighborhood. The house was gorgeous and the backyard was even better! We used it as a home base to travel to the surrounding areas all 30min-2hours away like Annapolis MD, Rehoboth Beach DE, St Michaels MD, and West Chester PA. The hot tub was lovely and clean and the beds were comfy (although, if you are a sensitive sleeper bring your own pillows!). We definitely want to come back here with friends to take advantage of the spacious house, kayaks and bikes. Great host and property, would recommend :)

My friend and I took our family here and had a blast. The view is incredible, the house is put together beautifully and everything was super clean. Looking forward to going here again soon.
