After terrible experiences with other rentals, we were hesitant to book another house. This home lived up to every expectation and beyond. We had a family gathering of 14 and were comfortable in the space. Beds were super comfortable and everything was well stocked in both upper and lower kitchen. Many meals spent on the back deck overlooking the lake. The lake toys were great for children and grandchildren alike. It was a great place to stay

Clean, spacious, and photos are accurate. Such thoughtful hosts- coffee provided along with basic spices and cooking oil as well as laundry detergent. Small things, but make a rental so much easier. Great communication as well.

The home was beautiful and the setting was peaceful. Lots of space for a large group to gather. The screen porch and the lake were our favorite spots.

We’ve rented some vacation homes through VRBO and this house is by far the best yet! We loved hanging out on the screened in porch while taking in the gorgeous view of the water. The hot tub was a treat, the beds were comfy and the location was convenient to everything. The owners anticipated everything guests might need. The kitchen and bathrooms were well appointed and the entire house was pristine. There was plenty of room for our family of 6. Thank you for sharing your lovely Bowen retreat!

This property is well appointed and beautifully decorated. Set up for families. Everything you need for a staycation or local travel. We loved watching the birds. Duck families and even a Egret visitor. Beds are extremely comfortable and furniture is too. Security lighting on the long lawn to the dock and lake was very comforting. Mother Nature even gave us a light show.

My wife and I had a great time at this Lake Bowen lake house. We have never been to Lake Bowen, but had passed it often on the interstate on the way to the mountains. The lake is perfect for kayaking. No loud boats with huge outboards. The house was perfect. Loved the TV on the screened in porch and the kayaks. View from the master bedroom was amazing. Also had 3 very nice restaurants within a mile, as well as a Dollar General with lots of groceries for any grocery needs. Very quite area. We'll be coming back!

We loved the house. The beds are comfy. The kitchen is large and equipped enough to cook meals for the family. Our favorite was the screened in porch and lower deck with hot tub and side deck. We had plenty of room and really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

We can’t wait to return to this absolute GEM on Lake Bowen. The house was gorgeous, so many well thought out details that were so appreciated. As an interior designer myself, I loved the use of space and the built-in coffee bar and how open and inviting everything felt. The little touches were a surprise and delight. The atmosphere is tranquil, the views are beautiful, the neighborhood is homey and has that “lived in” feel you want when you travel - a little taste of home. No notes!
