I really enjoyed this beautiful home with my family. It was a short trip but worth the time we had. The views were spectacular from the deck, while doing dishes, and from the master suite. The kids enjoyed the game room and played endlessly together instead of being on their devices. A plus for all families today. Any to all questions answered quickly from the owners. If we had to come back to Lewistown, we would make it a week!

We had a wonderful weekend at this peaceful and comfortable home by the river. The porch was amazing, and access to the river was easy and convenient. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils we needed, which made cooking a breeze. The setting was incredibly quiet and relaxing—perfect for unwinding. At the same time, it was conveniently close to shopping and not far from several beautiful state parks. It was the ideal mix of nature and convenience and our host Landon was very helpful and responsive. Thank you so much for hosting us!

We had such a wonderful stay! My family and I enjoyed fishing and swimming in the river, and the kids had an absolute blast. It was the perfect place to relax and spend quality time together. The home itself was very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The outdoor space was beautiful and peaceful, which made our trip even more special. We really loved this home and would definitely book again!

We had a fantastic stay at this 5-bedroom, 3-bath property! The location on the river is absolutely beautiful, with private river access that made for relaxing mornings and fun afternoons by the water. The fire pit was a perfect spot to unwind in the evenings.
The home is spacious, well-maintained, and very private, yet conveniently close to local businesses and attractions—just far enough away to feel peaceful and secluded. The game room kept everyone entertained, and the Wi-Fi was strong enough for work, streaming, and gaming without any issues.
If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-equipped getaway with great scenery and plenty of space, this place is a perfect choice. We’ll definitely be back!

Great stay. River is wonderful if you like to fish. Great for swimming too if you are a strong swimmer. Wouldnt recommend swimming if you arent. It was all around a wonderful stay. Overall no complaints.

We had a wonderful time at the Lazy Bass Lodge! Directions and check in instructions were clear, Landon responded to a question almost instantly, the place was clean and unique. My kids loved walking down to the river and playing pool. They complained that there was no tv at first, but I know for sure they had much more fun without it! Everyone slept comfortably and we appreciated having three full bathrooms. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere but there was a Walmart and places to eat only five minutes away. We would be happy to return in the future. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time with all 5 kids playing games, pool, and sitting on the portch. They have a brand new gas grill we used after going to Wilson’s meat market! Landon was kind enough to send us all the best local places to shop and eat along with things to do if we wanted. He was very responsive for any questions we had.

Place was nice and quiet with the river right next to it and it was close to Port Royal Speedway, which that's why we went there. I liked how you convert the garage into a gaming area. We played pool at night and had a few beers to go along with it.

This home was absolutely beautiful! The linens were clean and cozy, the whole home was ready to host, the bathrooms are perfect, plenty of room for a whole family or two, and a fully stocked kitchen with everything you would need. Couldn't recommend this house enough, thank you for hosting us!

We had a great time at this property. While about 35 minutes from Penn State it was still a good location to host people for a Penn State football weekend.

The location of this home is perfect! It was exactly what my family needed. We were looking for a home on the water away from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives. We had the best time! We swam in the river, fished, made s’mores at the fire pit, smoked some chicken on the smoker, played card games and had the quality family time we all needed.

Three of us stayed here while we were doing a local job. Worked out well for us, much better than staying in a hotel for a week. Communication was great, easy to get the answers we needed. No TV's at this location. Didn't bother me to much just FYI. Nice outdoor fire pit and the view of the river was great. Easy to relax after a hard day working. Thank you to the owners!

This house had lots of space for a few families. I loved the screened in porch. The sounds of the river while sitting in the porch was so relaxing. The pool table in the basement provided lots of family fun. There’s lots of room inside and outside to relax or hangout!

Our stay at the Lazy Bass Lodge was incredible. We were able to prepare meals in the well stocked kitchen, we enjoyed bird watching from the porch, and we especially liked the easy access to the Juniata River for fishing and kayaking. We were also especially thankful for the air conditioning that kept the house cool during our stay. Our only disappointment was packing up to leave. We hope to return again!

Secluded setting that is just off the main road. Has all the amenities, except TV. That served us perfectly as we were there for a reunion, and an activity in State College, about 40 minutes away. Prompt replies from the host. Extra large master bedroom and bath, very nice. We enjoyed the property very much.

This is a very nice location. Love that wood is provided for a campfire. The “jacuzzi “ was a bit misleading because we first thought there was a hot tub. We did not realize that there was no TV until we arrived. Thankfully family was coming later so they brought one. I am not a TV watcher but it was college basketball weekend and what the family wanted to do. It worked out to bring our own. Overall we had a great get away .

This place was absolutely gorgeous. My family and I had an amazing time and everything was as described. The game room was such a good time! We played a lot of pool lol. We used the kitchen and we were able to make breakfast and dinner! The swings were everything. We were able to sit and relax and enjoy the ambiance, the river, and the birds. You won’t regret booking this place at all.

Everything was exactly as the pictures, the house was clean in great condition. I absolutely recommend it. We had a great time with my family there. The best part of the house is the game room. They Always were in touch with us to know if we were comfortable or had questions which I really appreciated it.

Our overall impression was very positive. There were a few minor maintenance issues but the property manager was very responsive. They checked in often to make sure we had what we needed for a great stay. The game room was tons of fun. The house was great for our family Christmas vacation. Please note that as of writing this there isn’t a TV at this rental.

We loved our stay at the Lazy Bass Lodge! There is so much space for your crew to spread out (especially the fabulous game room and giant primary bedroom), including outdoor seating areas that make us want to come back in warmer weather! The three individual thermostats ensured toastiness all throughout the house, and it’s a short drive to poke around the shops of Lewistown and an easy trip to State College. The kitchen is well stocked, but note there is not a dishwasher.
Highly recommend for a getaway!

Our stay at INNteRest was awesome. All our guests enjoyed the location, the views. We were a group of 8 (5 adults and three kids) that were out for a Penn State football game. Far enough to get out of the craziness of State College on game day, but not too far to go back and forth on game day either. Plenty of basic kitchen amenities allowed us to cook a breakfast and dinner during our stay. Kids loved the game room as their little own sanctuary away from the adults. Would seriously consider another stay!

Everything was great for our group. Nice clean place, great setting. Only downfall was the heat in the basement. It was cool where the bedrooms were, and downright frigid in the playroom. Kids couldn’t spend much time down there without hats and coats. Perhaps insulate the garage doors off and put the basement on a different heating zone. Thanks!

Our group (5 couples) had a great weekend at Lazy Bass lodge. We were in town for a Penn State Football game. The home had everything we needed with plenty of room for our group. We loved the game room and the wrap around porch overlooking the river. Only 30 minutes to State College and lots of restaurants etc. nearby!

Great spot right on the Juniata River. Fishing, boating, swimming are all right outside your door. Plenty of wildlife to watch. The house is setup for a larger group with 5 bedrooms. Game room was constantly in use. We had a great time!
