We had such a wonderful experience at Lazy Bear Lodge. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up for families, which made a huge difference for us and our large family. The atmosphere was peaceful and private, with plenty of space to relax, unwind, and feel at home.
The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the entire place had that perfect “up north” cozy lodge feeling. The hosts were responsive, kind, and made the check-in process incredibly smooth.
We especially loved the little touches throughout the cabin that made it feel warm and welcoming. It’s a great place for both quiet rest and family connection, and we truly appreciated how easy it was to settle in.
We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend Lazy Bear Lodge to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay at Landon’s Place! The home had a nice open kitchen with plenty of space for all 10 of us to sit together and enjoy our meals. The pond on the property was a highlight—the kids had a great time catching bluegills and bass. The back deck offered a beautiful view of the mountains, which made for a relaxing atmosphere. Everything was clean, comfortable, and just as expected. Communication with Landon was excellent throughout the stay. Highly recommend!

It is a place to get away from the city, with nature around and far from civilization, it is spacious for large families. The jacuzzi is in good condition and has different games to play as a group. We had a good time.

We had a wonderful week long stay at the Lazy Bear Lodge. We have family in Wellsboro and it was a great location about 10 minutes away, easy to find, but also very private. We traveled with two small children, there was a travel crib provided at the rental which was awesome to not have to travel with one ourselves. We fully enjoyed all the amenities of the home including hottub, the playground with the kids, and the game room. I would recommend this home to families and large groups. There is everything you need, the appliances, kitchen, utensils, bathrooms are all a little dated and older but all worked just fine.

Had a wonderful stay at this property. Everything was an described, and more! It was a comfortable and perfect venue for a large family reunion and will cherish our memories here. Our young kids never got bored and everything felt safe for them (down to the child gate at top of the stairs). Instructions and communication were thorough. Will definitely go back!

This is the nicest cabin we have ever rented! The entire cabin was VERY clean and fully stocked with needed paper products, shampoo, soap, laundry detergent, etc. ALL mattresses were high quality. Kitchen was fully stocked with good quality items. Plenty of towels, including a basket full just for the hot tub! High quality game equipment including pool table and cues, corn hole, poker chips, etc. Host quickly responded to our needs. Pond was full of fish- mostly little ones in this little pond- kids loved fishing AND CATCHING little fish- saw a couple big ones that got away… Good dry firewood for fire pit. High quality swing set and deck furniture. Comfy family room furniture. The WiFi is excellent for a cabin in the woods. We picked up a Walmart grocery order in Mansfield on our way to the cabin, and lacked for nothing for the entire week. We have rented cabins in 5+ states over the years and this one was the best!

We had a wonderful stay! The playground in the back was perfect for the kids and the hot tub was relaxing for the adults! The fire pit was large enough to fit all of us around it comfortably and had amazing views. The house is conveniently located, 15 minutes from Wellsboro and the PA Grand Canyon. We loved the large dining table and the game room also.

Very spacious for a good sized group. The views are magnificent. Perfect place for a family get away. Close to wellsboro and the state parks. Our favorite was the Stony Fork country store....amazing baked goods.
I think the only qualms we had was the lack of fire pit necessities. Thank goodness we are girl scouts. But it would have been nice to have a storage unit with papers, lighters, tinder, kindly....ect. maybe it's an off season thing...it wasn't a big deal....just a thought for down the road.
We were so happy with our stay and hope to do it again this fall. One of our favorite stays to date!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lazy Bear Lodge! The location was great, close to the town of Wellsboro and all that the Pine Creek area has to offer, but still very secluded and remote with beautiful views. The property had plenty to do, even in the wintertime, we really enjoyed the hot tub and game room in the basement. Truly a great mountain cabin experience.
Host was very responsive and accommodating.

Our stay at this air bnb was absolutely amazing. The views were beautiful and it was close to the PA Grand Canyon as well as the town. We got food at the Roost and it was very good as well. Our group had a four hour drive and still all agreed it was worth it! The place was just as the pictures showed it to be and the hair was responsive as needed. The hot tub was also great as well as the games provided and pool table. We will be back next year!

Great place for a getaway off the beaten path! Make sure if you are going during snowy times that you bring the right cars, as we had some trouble getting up the steep driveway. They were very helpful in communicating with us through the struggles though!

We 3 families stayed. Enough restrooms , beautiful firepit & hot tub at backyard .... Location is too good for winter . & We loved the playroom too. Nearby (5m) drive had lots of stargazing locations. But unfortunately it was cloudy. Kitchen had all the items , you don't have bring utensils n basic ingredients, grill is perfect on the deck. ❤️

Great communication, basic rules, and laid back experience. home was well decorated and kitchen well equipped, beds and pillows were comfortable. Grounds were fun for our kids and the pond was a nice touch for fishing with the kids. Game room was a great way to kick back on a rainy day. not far from Pine Creek Gorge. Would highly recommend if you are headed that way.

Our stay at Lazy Bear Lodge was excellent! Everything was exceptionally clean, well stocked and exactly as described. We loved the hot tub, fire pit, yard games, play set and indoor games. The beds and bedding were some of the best we’ve ever slept on (and we’ve traveled the world).
The kitchen was spotless and very well stocked. Linens, towels, toiletries, and tissues were so appreciated.
The cabin and outdoors were very child friendly.
Highly recommend this place for relaxation and fun times with friends and family.

We had a really nice stay at this property. It is a well-built very nice log-cabin style with a lot of amenities including fully stocked kitchen, good mattresses and nice towels and linens. Of note, the cabin did have the occasional spider or fruit fly (hard to avoid in a rural area), but nothing that we couldn't handle. Hot tub was lovely.

What a great experience!
Beautiful location and house! Well kept.
Linens and cleaning supplies provided which always makes things easier.
Plenty of activities to do; the family enjoyed the pond, fire pit, and all the games available in the house!
Plenty of room!
Only comment to improve is that the TV in living room didn’t have a remote to turn on the TV and adjust volume.
We will use this lodge again in the future.

Great place very close to wellsboro and the pa Grand Canyon. We stayed with a 6, 5, and 2 year old and they enjoyed the play set, camp fire and hot tub vey much. The game room was a nice bonus as well. We even took a day trip to Corning for the glass museum which was a big hit also.

The house, view, and location were great and the amenities included were icing on the cake! A well stocked kitchen with seasonings included, soap and shampoo in the bathrooms, laundry detergent, firewood for the fire pit, gas grill and everything else was all in place and ready for use.
I knew the downstairs bedrooms did not have a finished ceiling, but the footsteps from the kitchen and living room were a bit loud in those two rooms. I’d suggest the early risers sleep in those two rooms.
Overall an excellent house, accurately described, and clear communication and instructions from the host. Would recommend!

This is a wonderful property situated in a storybook location. The vista from the back deck alone was worth driving a long way for. The hot tub was wonderful after our hard day of gravel biking. It is a bit of a drive from Wellesboro, but it's an easy one on rural roads.
We loved that it is situated on a gravel road, it gave it so much of an "off-the-beaten-path" feel.
The hosts were very clear with their instructions - so didn't have to get in touch with them for anything.
Highly recommended.

We had an amazing time! The kids didn't want to leave the house. We enjoyed Cherry Springs State Park although the star gazing was equally awesome right at the house. The whole family loved the views at the little grand canyon. We explored a nearby swimming hole and rope swing. The trip into town was short. Overall a great stay, the house had all needed amenities. Would definitely recommend.

The house was exceptionally clean. It had everything we needed for our weekend stay. The kids enjoyed the pool table, Air hockey and yard games. The playground and yard we great for the kids. The basement was cold but there were several heaters that kept us very comfortable. The host was very responsive to our inquiries very quickly.

The cabin was great! A bit difficult to get to in the winter but there was a plow truck that operated pretty regularly that helped us out a bunch! Lost power for a bit as well but host was quick to help out! Basement is a little leaky and cold (only heated by space heaters), so bring house shoes. Hot tub was really clean!

We booked this trip to get away from the city and have some quality time with the kids. We got just that, from late nights by the fire or just playing in the game room. It is just a great space to get cozy and unwind, we did some relaxing in the hot tub after the trails. The house is literally 10-15 mins away from a few must see trails. It was 10/10 stay. We would definitely book again and recommend!

Great stay at the lodge! Very clean and quiet tucked away off the road. There was no shortage of activities for me and my 7 friends from college. Air hockey, pool table, corn hole, hot tub, kan jam, poker… they had it all. In addition to that, the local sights and hikes were great. 10/10 recommend!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the cabin - beautiful location!! The stars are amazing on clear nights. Supplies were plentiful - many extra sheets and towels and if you managed to run out, the washer & dryer is very handy. Well stocked kitchen and you could leave a fire burning outside all day & night and still not run out of wood! Very close to the Canyon, many trails and outside activities. Place is perfect for a family reunion or trip :)
