Mountainside Cabin

We come here for a staycation while we had some renovations at our house. We did not want to leave! The location and home was fantastic. There are so many things to do without leaving the property. All the neighbors around were so friendly and the house was great for us. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Can’t wait for another staycation as we will be coming back.

So thrilled we decided on this location. The cabin was even nicer than the photos showed. We would certainly stay there again if ever in the area. Kids loved the pickleball courts, ping pong table, foosball table and games. We also had a nice night out by the fire doing s'mores. The scenery and wildlife in the area were beautiful. The host could not have thought of anything more to make our stay any more enjoyable! The pictures do not do the cabin justice! Everything was neat and clean from top to bottom. We didn't have to pack as much as we did as they had everything down to shampoo, conditioner and body wash in both bathrooms and coffee creamer sugar and spices along with any kitchen utensils and appliances that you could need on vacation! If you find yourself in the area this is the place to stay! And they're pet friendly which was great for our two furry friends! Thank you for sharing your home with us and would love to return again!

We had a great time. The home was very well kept and the secluded private area was amazing. The home was equipped well with pots, pans, kitchen utensils, plates, cups and silverware. Just a few things to note but doesnt reduce my rating. The listing says a TV in bedroom 1 and 2 and the living room, there is no tv in bedroom 1. The bed in bedroom one is EXTREMELY squeaky, anytime 1 of us moved the noise woke the other up, after the first night i had to resort to the couch.. We arrived earlier than expected to the area but couldn't check in early (which is understandable) so we went shopping and got all our groceries for the stay which was grilling items, upon arrival there was a note on the grill that it was out of commission but wasnt notified, we improvised and used the grate on the fire so it worked out. Again, these 3 things are minor and doesnt take away from my rating. Would definitely recommend this home if you are looking for a beautiful secluded private area to spend time together. If in the area again we would definitely stay again. Thank you for sharing your home with us and allowing us to make memories there.

This place was amazing! As described, isolated, middle of the woods on top of a mountain. Patio area was amazing, complete with lighted pavilion, fire ring, and pickle ball court! Well appointed house with everything you need to enjoy a nice visit to the area. No restaurants, stores, etc. too close (which is what we wanted). Kitchen had needed supplies. Everything was clean! Checkout was easy with few requirements. Had a small problem with the lock, but owner was responsive and all fixed quickly. Good price and overall an excellent stay where we plan to return to in the future.

We had a great stay at this beautiful cabin and we’re pleasantly surprised to find a brand new concrete pickle ball court and a concrete fire pit/gazebo with picnic table that we’re not listed in the listing, it must be brand new! It was gorgeous and a great addition. They also had a High chair and pack and play out if we needed it and toys (games, puzzles, infant toys & coloring) it was all very perfect with children! In the middle of Amish country this place is private at the end of a dirt road. I think the real appeal would be to stay here during the spring or fall when the screened-in garage could be opened, yes you read that right, there's a giant garage with a screen. We went when it was near 100F, so we relyed heavy on the window unit A/Cs. We came for the ATV trails but found only dirt road ones, none in the woods persay, but they were still nice to ride on and a quick drive down the road.

When I booked this place I wasn’t sure if the price would be worth it, but it was well within what I would expect to pay for the beauty of the site and the cabin itself. Sometimes pictures can be deceiving. The interior was as shown, but the pictures didn’t fully show the beauty of the surroundings . We loved everything about the Mountainside Cabin. Great spot. Enjoyed the quiet. One note, our 25lb mutt of a dog loved it but house requested no dogs on furniture or beds. We brought our pup’s bed as part of the road trip and she stayed in that and we were able to honor the rules.

Fantastic stay here, great atmosphere and surroundings. Cut perfectly into the side of a mountain giving you this peaceful feeling of isolation. The ability to see every star in the night sky was a visual i would love to see here again.

I have been working and traveling a lot (still do) and needed to get take a break, just get away. This place was just what I needed it is very, very peaceful!!! A really great place if you want to connect to or reconnect with nature and your family. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere the cabin and the area promoted. We absolutely loved our stay here, it rained for most of our trip but we brought along a few extra games to play and it helped to pass the time. You definitely get the seclusion you want without being too far away from everything. The markets are about 20 minutes away so I would suggest doing your last minute grocery shopping before you reach the cabin in order to have everything you need.

The Mountainside Cabin was beautiful. The location was remote and very peaceful. The cabin was very clean and felt newly renovated.
The kitchen was great for cooking, and the living space was spacious and comfortable.
The only upgrade that I suggest is a bigger bed in the master bedroom. The bed is small (double) if you are used to sleeping in a queen or king.

Everything was excellent for this secluded getaway in the mountains of pennsylvania. A very newly remodeled large cabin with everything you could need. Less disappointed that it was a gas fireplace and not a real fireplace but enjoyed it very much. The management was good

Such a nice weekend getaway! Tucked away and very quiet. The cabin is clean, kitchen has everything you need to make a meal & plenty of towels/blankets. Fire pit area was nice on the cold nights! We would definitely book this cabin again.

This place was awesome! The downstairs is so open, that it’s easy to enjoy the company of those who are at the cabin with you. We enjoyed ourselves and will be back in the future!

We made a quick pit stop at LLWS and this cabin worked well for our family of 6. It is less than 30 mins to the LLWS complex and downtown South Williamsport (restaurants and grocery store). Those of us who did not attend the games enjoyed the quiet of the cabin which is nestled between several farms. The walks after dinner were peaceful and the kids enjoyed seeing the fireflies and stars come out at night. The cabin is newly renovated, super clean, and has plenty of space both inside and out. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of cookware and dinnerware. Outside is a fire pit with wood provided and homemade benches. There are also a couple of outdoor games. The beds are on the smaller and firmer side (doubles in all 3 rooms). The sheets however were freshly crisp and the blankets super soft. The downstairs stayed surprisingly cool during the day (mid 80s outside both days). The upstairs needed the window ACs to run only one night. The wifi was good for regular usage, though it struggled a little with videos. We tried casting to the new TV and it wasn't able to handle it (though quite possibly could have been user error). The kids however were able to find other shows to watch no problem. We had the pleasure to meet the young couple who owns the cabin. They live nearby and are very accommodating. Would recommend to anyone looking for a modern experience in the woods of PA.
