We had a great stay at this cozy Nordic-style cabin. The space was beautiful, private, and very peaceful. The heated floors were a wonderful touch, and we loved watching the sunrise and sunset. The fire pit was also a highlight.
Landon was very responsive and provided clear, easy instructions throughout our stay. There were plenty of amenities, which made everything comfortable and convenient.
Our only small issue was that after slightly adjusting the rainfall shower head, some water leaked into the bedroom area. Aside from that, everything was excellent.
We’d definitely recommend staying here!

This location was by far the best airbnb I’ve stayed in! My boyfriend & I drove over for our anniversary weekend. The stay itself was perfectly secluded & peaceful. It was a great way to unwind & relax. The stay had plenty of amenities and supplies that were helpful to us. We look forward to visiting in the future

We stayed for two days at this property and it’s even better than the photos. You basically have a wraparound wall of windows so you can watch the most gorgeous sunsets. It’s secluded, without being completely in the middle of nowhere. The heated floors throughout is the gem of this space in the winter. I do have to agree with the other reviewer that the mattress was uncomfortable, but that’s obviously subjective. We also had an unfortunate issue the last day of our stay where the wall unit heater started leaking, I woke up to water streaming down the wall onto the light switches, console table, speaker - which continued intermittently until we checked out. Was this mildly alarming at 5 AM, yes. However, I was so pleasantly surprised that the owner was totally chill about the situation and we were able to finish out our full stay. I have to assume this was a total fluke and an isolated incident. Overall, this property is one of the best Airbnb properties I’ve stayed in to-date.

Wow! My husband and I really enjoyed a peaceful getaway from nyc at Landon’s beautiful home. The Nordic nook was so cozy, private, and was the perfect spot to retreat to after a day of exploring. We thoroughly enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen, listening to music, and admiring the nature views from the windows. We loved the open concept and appreciated the loft as well. Highly recommend to stay at this place, especially when you’re looking for some hygge and a chance to relax. Thank you so much for your hospitality and quick responses!

Spent a birthday weekend at Nordic Nook and it was the perfect escape. The atmosphere was cozy, peaceful, and tucked away in the forest for the ideal weekend trip. The big windows were perfect for watching the sunrise, and the light snowfall created a peaceful view from the balcony. All the little details made the stay feel special, from the fully stocked kitchen to the heated floors and even the bath bombs waiting for the rejuvenating bathtub.
Landon was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. He made sure we had everything we needed and the check-in and checkout process was an absolute breeze. Such a thoughtful and relaxing getaway. We would absolutely stay again!

Sleek and serene, the Nordic Nook was our Scandinavian retreat for the Thanksgiving holiday. Although only an hour away from home, we felt that we had traveled to Norway. The decor was at the same time crisp and new while remaining useful and comfortable. The green velvet couch and heated floors added to that comfort, as did the deep bathtub (bath bombs and salts provided), especially welcome after a November hike on Shade Mountain. The multiple and large windows let in tons of light and views of the surrounding forest. In sum, beautifully designed, quiet, new, clean, comfortable! This is the first time I have booked an AirBnB home FOR the home: The Nordic Nook IS the destination. You won't want to leave it!
