We had a great stay. The apartment was exactly as represented in the listing—clean, comfortable, and accurately described. The location is fantastic and makes it very easy to walk to everything downtown has to offer.
After a small check-in hiccup that was quickly resolved, the remainder of our stay went smoothly. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and we appreciated how true the space was to the online description. We would certainly consider staying here again on a future visit to Greenville.

Landon was an excellent host! The space was perfect for our family and we loved the exposed brick walls so much. There is a ton to do in downtown Greenville and all of it was walkable from this location. We expected some downtown noise and were ok with that but what we didn’t expect was the excessive loud mufflers and motorcycle racing until the wee hours of the morning. I think Greenville may be trying to deal with this issue because we saw a lot of signs about noise curfews and associated fees. Unfortunately, our experience with extreme vehicle noise is a deal breaker for future stays in the downtown area. Please note that this has absolutely nothing to do with our satisfaction with our host and the property in general.

The property is in very close proximity to main street so music and vehicle noise is common and outside our control. Landon's Red Door Apartment is the perfect location for a stay in Downtown Greenville. The loft was clean, spacious and well equipped for our party of 3. My husband was able to comfortably hang out on Saturday watching college football while my daughter and I explored Falls Park and shopped on Main Street. The shopping and restaurant choices that are within walking distance are amazing. We will definitely book again with Landon if we ever return to this charming city!

Beautiful place in a great location. Some street noise in the evening (to be expected) but the sound machines in the bedroom are a LIFESAVER. Slept right through the night. It was impeccably clean and we loved the bean bag in the living room! Would definitely stay again :)

A great find in a highly walkable area of the city and close to everything. The sound machines in the bedrooms were a perfect addition by the host since there is some road noise in the evening. We slept right through it!

Location was great! Easy to park in the parking garage and walk across to the Airbnb! So much great spots to walk, shop, eat, and drink! We had such a great time and the hosts were amazing! Only negative (outside the hosts control) is what others have mentioned. A lot of street noise and not your typical voices and music. We heard a ton of cars revving their engines, sounds of racing and consistent honking when the bars let out and people were leaving the parking garage. The hosts offer sound machines in both rooms which helped drown some of the noise but I did wake up a few times. If you aren’t a light sleeper and are looking for a fun location in the heart of it all I would recommend!

We stayed here just for a night on July 4th but it was the perfect space for what we needed and in the best area for walking around downtown Greenville. We had a nice time and everything was clean, comfortable, and as described. It was a bit loud that evening with cars (probably due to the holiday) so you might consider that if you’re a super light sleeper, but it wasn’t an issue for us and even the baby slept fine (they had a pack n play). Overall a great stay and we would definitely come back in the future.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Red Door Apt. 2.0. Landon was an excellent and attentive host and gave great recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. Greenville is a beautiful city. The loft was clean, comfortable and very convenient to downtown. We were able to find parking on the street most evenings and walked to our dinner reservations and local shops. Because everything else was so great, I regret to have to add this part of the review; however, as many have said, the road noise is an issue. We saw the reviews and are not typically bothered by that sort of thing, but it does go above and beyond the typical hum of the downtown city, and lasts late into the night/early morning. That being said, we still greatly enjoyed our stay.

We loved our time in Greenville and this was a wonderful place to stay. Located near all kinds of things to do in Greenville, we walked everywhere. The condo was really clean and spacious and the beds were super comfy. The only negative I could say about the place is hearing people in their cars at night. Had a blast - came in with a girlfriend to visit my daughter at Furman for a girls weekend! Location was awesome, apartment was spacious, even with one shower having 2 bathrooms we simply showered in the full bath & got ready in the half bath! Was not an issue at all with 4 girls! It was a great hub for our Greenville activities - parking was free right across the street & once there we walked everywhere! It was pretty noisy at night but we knew that was a high probability & it’s part of being in the heart of the city. Regardless I’d stay here again! We decided it should be an annual event!

We absolutely loved this place. It was the perfect location, near the cute shops. It felt very homey and exactly as described. Landon was proactive checking to make sure all was working well and if we had any questions. We also got lucky that our place was one of the only ones in that area that did not lose power during the hurricane. My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our daughters wedding weekend. We had a great stay here - great price for a ton of room, a great kitchen, and 1.5 bathrooms. Would 100% recommend staying here because it is so easy to get to and right in the heart of Greeneville, so super easy to walk everywhere. My husband and I and our 2 grown children met up here August 19-23. We lived in Greenville for 12 years and always love to visit. The Red Door is wonderful! Just as described with pictures online. Easy check in and out. The space is private with its own entrance. Parking garages minutes away. The apt. is open and spacious with natural light and exposed brick. We were all impressed with the cleanliness throughout. The beds and linens very comfy! Well stocked kitchen and comfy lounge seating. Perfect location about a 1/2 block off Main Street. You can walk to any type of dining you can imagine. We spent some time on the Swamp Rabbit Trail, Paris Mtn. trails, took in a comedy zone show (5 min walk) and had fun at Group Therapy and Thursday night live music on Main. Awesome place and Landon is a great host! We will hopefully return soon!

Loved staying here. It was very fancy and I actually chose it because I knew my 8yo would love the giant bean bag. I recommend parking in the parking garage behind the apartment, it’s $7 a day. We walked everywhere and never needed the car again. We got coffee and breakfast every morning at Coffee Underground, about a 5 minute walk. I will stay here whenever I’m in Greenville.

Landon was great as a host. His property was amazing with a city vibe and great walkable proximity to downtown shopping and restaurants!
However, I must say there was one problem that I’m very sure Landon can not control.
There were vehicles with loud mufflers until midnight to 1am each night.
Other than that , I would 100% recommend !!

Very comfortable. Family loved the giant beanbag. Beds were comfortable. Lots of living space. Steps from Main street. Walkable to shops and restaurants, the waterfall, Swamp Rabbit trail, etc. The only drawback of being right near Main Street is it does get fairly loud: the apartment is on a through street and there is car and people noise. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs. They do provide white noise machines. We had no trouble finding street parking right outside over the weekend.

The place was beautiful and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the convenient location to everything downtown. The host was excellent. The bed was comfortable. The only downside was the street noise was a little louder than expected. Being downtown, of course we expected quite a bit, but it's across the street from a popular public parking garage, so the amount of car noise on Saturday night was more than expected. But, they provided a sound-maker and it wasn't a big deal in the end.

We really liked the location. We parked the car in the garage and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The first night we walked to the Reedy River area for dinner. It was an easy 15 -20 min walk. There are plenty of restaurants much closer.
The condo is on a busy road but sound machines are provided for light sleepers.

The place was perfect for what we were looking for. Everywhere we wanted to go was walkable. It is no longer over Ayer’s, it’s across the street, needs updated instructions. The inside was super clean, except we did have a dirty towel in one of the bathrooms. The love sac was a nice addition to relax in the living room watching tv. The beds were quite firm which I enjoyed, but my friend found uncomfortable. That’s obviously just a personal preference but worth noting. Due to the location being so close to downtown, there was a lot of noise right outside which subsided right around 11, this was ok for us because the location meant more to us and we knew it would be a little noisy. The only lingering noise issue we noticed that was a nuisance was a group of cars revving their engines in the parking deck next to the place until probably 2am. Overall I would definitely stay there again, but thought it worth noting the few items above that could pose a problem to certain people staying.

We had a great time here! The location is great- super walkable to everything in downtown Greenville! It was also easy to locate parking both on the street to get checked in and in the garage behind the building. We loved the feel of the loft and felt like it had a great balance of the exposed brick and some original features along with updates. We read some reviews about noise but with the sound machine, we didn’t notice. Plus, being centrally downtown and super walkable does mean that noise is to be expected. We would definitely return! I would note that if someone has trouble with stairs, this probably wouldn’t be the place to book due to the number of stairs required to access the loft.

We rented this apartment to attend a wedding in Greenville. The location was great and you walk straight out onto Main Street. We did have a car and there was some on road parking, but if that was taken there was an easy access parking garage right behind the property. I would just say that the area can get loud with traffic and people on a weekend - but that’s just down to this being such a central location. The apartment itself was huge and plenty of space for everyone. We’d definitely stay here again!

Great place in great location that has a lot of living space which was very nice. The only issue I had was the payment process. I made the second payment and it said it was received but never went through then I had to call Customer Service which took me to a call center in Asia which was not a good experience due to language barrier. It took several calls to figure out payments due and handle the payment. Other than the payment issues and call center, GREAT place.

Landon and his place were amazing! You will be right downtown, steps away from great restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. Yes, you hear the normal sounds of downtown life but I just used the White Noise machine on my phone and slept perfectly. Landon also has white noise machines in both bedrooms. The unit is gorgeous, bright, immaculate, and perfect for enjoying and walking around Greenville. We checked in around 7 PM on a Saturday night and were able to park on the street. But, the apartment is located between two public parking garages so that is an option as well. The unit is on the second floor of the building and one must access the unit by a flight of easily navigable stairs. We felt safe and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I HIGHLY recommend Landon’s place and will definitely be back!!

This apartment could not be in a better location. We had the best time in Greenville and our family thrived in the large communal space. The place was very clean and the kitchen was well outfitted. My only complaint is that the sun streamed into the two secondary bedrooms thanks to skylights. This is tough with tiny humans so we ended up putting our kids in the closet to sleep. It worked out fine but we would have loved to use the bedrooms, of course. Overall, we had a great experience and would stay here again on our next visit to Greenville.

This was the second time I have stayed in this condo. I LOVE the location - and it is nice and clean. The only thing that could be improved is the entrance - the outside entry needed to be swept and cleaned a little. Also, the master bedroom on the street side is noisy from the street noise. I know this can’t be avoided and the sound machine does help. I think it would also help if some black-out curtains could be hung that one could close at night to help make the room darker. There is a good bit of light that comes in from the street through the closed blinds. This time the ice maker was stopped up and it was difficult to get ice out without making a mess. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Greenville. LOVE LOVE LOVE the location. My sister and I brought our 83-year-old mother to celebrate her birthday and Mother’s Day - the gift we gave her this year. Greenville is fabulous! So much to do - shopping, walking, eating! And it is a beautiful and clean city. And I always feel safe when I visit. Thank you! Janice

Glad to have found this rental. We were a little concerned about the noise from previous reviews because we were traveling with a toddler. Turned out to not be a huge deal for our family after we turned on white noise. We only had to move our car one time the whole visit, and that is because our child wanted to go to the zoo. Otherwise, we could have parked upon check in and not moved until check out. Very convenient location.

What a lovely condo. Spacious and room for plenty! We so appreciated a fully stocked kitchen, ice maker, plenty of towels and cleaning supplies. Oh and shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and body wash are a very nice addition. The temperature is consistent and very easy to control, works wonderfully. The location is incredible and in easy walking distance to best that Greenville offers. Parking can be tricky if there’s an event going on but plenty of garage parking right next door. We loved it!

Host was extremely responsive and friendly. Location was excellent - we walked right out the front door into the main area of downtown, with tons of restaurants and shops. Convenient parking. Clean, well decorated apartment. Perfect for our weekend getaway!
The traffic was quite loud and we had some trouble sleeping due to that noise on Friday night. However, I think that’s fair to expect given the downtown location and the bedrooms had white noise machines which helped. Overall would recommend!

Great space that was easy for pick up and drop off. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.
The apartment was clean and with lots of windows and open floor plan it felt much larger!
The unit was equipped with most everything we needed, including a first aide kit, which came in handy. They even offered coffee, shampoo and laundry detergent!
While there is a parking garage, we were able to park on the street because it was the weekend. Had no issue finding a spot.

Overall a great location, just off of the main street! You can get a better one, but it comes with the noise of the city (mainly cars), but they provide noise machines for you.
The beds are next-level comfort (best sleep). Parking (though not included) is easy to find (there are two parking garages nearby), and parking in Greenville is usually free on the weekends. The parking garage nearby has bright lights up, but once again host thought of everything––black-out curtains and blinds.
The home had the essential cookware if you needed it. We loved the Brita that was included. Lots of steps in and up, but there is a secure railing, and the steps are wide. So no problem there. They provided ample towels and washcloths. Little to no checkout duties. Lots of space for storage and huge closets with hangers for you.

This was our 5 year’s anniversary gateway. We love everything. The host was very communicative. He provided things to do and places to go. The location was easy to find. One word to describe the location is QUALITY. Everything was made with great quality, beautiful appliances and decoration was beautiful. The Hot tub was great. The water fall so relaxing. The TV image definition was amazing. We are recommending this place to others.

The location and amenities were perfect for our stay. The beds were comfortable and the furnishings were wonderful. The only thing to note is the front bedroom was susceptible to the street noise. Even with sound machines on full blast we were woken up by cars and sirens at night. The street lights were not blocked by the blinds. A set of blackout drapes would help for light and sound buffer. Overall we would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay. It was a really nice apartment in a wonderful, convenient location. The master bedroom is on a busy street so take ear plugs and sleep mask and put the box fan on high in front of the window to drown out traffic noise. The stairs are open to the door down on the street, which has a lock that a bigger toddler (my 4 year old) can easily unlock. I placed the bar stools at the top of the stairs to discourage him from making his way downstairs undetected. Otherwise we loved everything about it.

Great spot, very roomy & clean apartment in downtown Greenville. Great location. We had a flipped circuit breaker upon arrival & the tv & lights wouldn’t work. The property manager was very responsive & helped us locate the breaker panel & the problem was solved quickly. The tv remote in the master bedroom wasn’t working. It may need new batteries. Really not a big deal. We throughly enjoyed the stay & would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a rental in downtown Greenville.

Exceptionally good communication. Wonderful central location, just expect some traffic noise at night. You are staying in a fairly vibrant city center. Property was great and conveniently located to pretty much everything. The only watch out is the street noise on weekends… quite impressive and a little difficult to sleep through for folks in bedroom overlooking that Main Street. Would also suggest inventory of basic items before guests arrive. As a frequent user of vrbo, this was truly the first time we landed in a location with no bottle opener for wine. Not a big deal, but saw that this overlook had been mentioned before so was surprised to see that nothing had been done. Overall a great experience, a few things that were a kittle less so.

Place right off Main St which is the main drag. Apartment is surprisingly large with king size beds in all the rooms. Very well maintained with everything you’d need. You can certainly here the street traffic at night, but that comes with being right where it’s all happening. Most places within walking distance. Really don’t need to drive unless you’re doing a big food shop. Would recommend

This is a great downtown spot - you can walk to everything! Landon has done a fabulous job outfitting the space for guests to feel at home. The one thing to note is that it's right on a main street, so it is loud when cars go by, especially on a busy weekend night. You'll feel right at home in this apartment!

Landon’s place is exactly as described! Yes, it really is THAT nice and Landon is super helpful!! The temporary street parking an TWO parking garages put this downtown property at the top of our return list. Our only regret is that we can’t visit more often!

We loved the natural light of this space, and the proximity to everything. Landon communicated quickly at all times. Considering it’s right downtown, it wasn’t noisy at night, which was great.

The Red Door apartment exceeded all of our expectations and hopes for this trip! The stylish urban decor was a bonus that really made you feel like you were a "down towner." Even though we loved our time in the apartment, the best part about it was the extreme convenience to everything downtown! You are only a 30 second walk from the middle of Main St and all of the fantastic restaurants, plus Reedy park and all the walking trails. Don't pass up the Swamp Rabbit trail either! It was an absolute joy to walk down to Reedy Rides and rent bikes to ride the trail (which is completely flat by the way). I felt like a kid again, and the bonus was that you rode through the beauty of nature with so many great stops along the way. The Red Door was the perfect rental for our vacation!

This place is amazing! Everything was in walking distance. The things we enjoyed most were Gather Greenville, Blues Blvd and the live music at Sharkey's. We will definitely be back.

This is an unbelievable location right off Main Street (steps away—-about 100feet literally ) and next to One City plaza. (Again , steps away). The price is great considering the location and the size of space . This is a clean 2nd floor city loft with 2 beds and 1.5 bath and sizable kitchen and living space .
Parking is on street if you park after 6pm until 9am which we did the first night . Otherwise , there are 2 parking garages adjacent to street of apartment .
We will be hopefully staying here in future when we return to downtown Greenville.
Host was great and had everything arranged so that we didn’t even need to contact him.

Outstanding! My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Landon was a great host providing some cool restaurant tips. The place is really convenient to everything. We could walk everywhere without moving our car (which is clutch when it comes to parking downtown). We highly recommend it. The lovesac was a nice touch.

Landon was responsive an quick to communicate.
Brand new unit. Great location right in the mix of downtown. Fast WiFi. Smart TV. Great light because of the second-floor. Nice architectural detail. Great value. Great for families and any other combo.
There’s a cheap garage behind the unit to park $7/24 hours.

Enjoyed staying in this newly appointed loft in the heart of Greenville, SC. Landon communicated everything we needed to know and some. The bed linens were luxurious and kitchen well equipped. We celebrated our 33rd anniversary with some hikes in DuPont Forrest. High Falls and triple falls are not to be missed. We dined at Maple Street Biscuit Company (just up the block) for breakfast and Sassafras Southern Bistro (across the street), for dinner and yummy cocktails. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for sharing your lovely place.
