Beautiful location for a weekend getaway, be careful if you do stay during winter as the road is very very icey and snowy then, probably one of the most amazing, quiet, and secluded places i have ever been. i loved every second of it.

Landon's place was awesome! We were looking for a quiet area for our stay and this place was just that. The house was exactly what we were looking for. It truly felt like a home and I wish we could've stayed longer. The house is pretty big with plenty of room for group or family adventures. It was extremely clean, with lots of basic stuff provided for us. Everything about our stay was perfect and we've already talked about coming back in the warmer months to be able to utilize the firepit and porch more!

This place is beautiful! If you're into peace and quiet this is your place. We stayed 4 nights and cooked every meal in the kitchen. It's very well equipped. It was clean and had basic toiletries if needed. Host was very responsive. and checked in periodically to see if we needed anything. The toys and games in the living room were a nice bonus.

My family and I stayed here while visiting for a Penn State game. The house was clean and welcoming. The host was super friendly and responsive. The house is very secluded which made for nice privacy. The WI-FI worked great considering there is no cell phone service in the are.

This place was just as advertised. Peaceful, secluded, had EVERYTHING needed. When I would say, "we forgot this", it was already in the house. Bowls, utensils, cookware, baking pans, literally everything needed was at our disposal. Beds are comfortable, spacious, very good lighting around the house outside if needed. Landon had very good communication. Again, it was awesome. Will be coming back.

We had one of the best vacations we've ever had at this cabin. It is peaceful and quiet and a great place to relax with family. They had some toys available which was perfect for our kids. We enjoyed a mini family vacation at this cabin. The home was very nice, cozy and equipped with everything that we needed. We made good use of the fire pit and the corn hole game. This is a great place to relax and enjoy nature. We hope to return again in the future.

We stayed at this cabin to do an electric bike ride and it was perfect. We rode bikes during the day on the nearby bike trails and went back to the cabin at night. Nice kitchen fireplace comfortable beds. It was a terrific trip in a great old timey cabin that has serious modern upgrades!!

We really enjoyed our stay in this little cabin while we visited the Christkindle Market in Mifflinburg. The checkin instructions were helpful, clear and easy.

Rustic Pine Retreat was everything we had hoped for and more! The cabin itself was perfect - spacious, comfortable bedrooms, modern bathroom with laundry facilities, and a kitchen with state of the art appliances. The screened in porch was an extra added bonus for morning coffee and late afternoon wine conversations.
The setting was remote enough from noise and traffic but convenient to excellent restaurants, picturesque wineries, and local Amish cheeses and baked goods.
Usually we do two or three of these get aways a year and this was by far one of our favorites!!

If you looking for a place to total peace I recommend staying here. It’s absolutely beautiful, clean, family-oriented. Warm and welcoming space. It’s like a home away from home. We loved Rustic Pines Retreat. Everything is well maintained and clean and we really enjoyed our stay there. The screened in porch was a nice place to sit and listen to the rain and watch for deer and other wildlife. The Wifi worked great, washer and dryer are newer and conveniently located in the bathroom and everything we needed was there. Landon was so friendly and personable. We got there very late in the evening and couldn't figure out a couple of things (our own fault). Even at that late hour, he was kind and patient and walked us through the steps to get these things going. We have been very impressed by his availability and willingness to help. These are traits not often seen anymore and he will go far if he maintains this attitude. Thank you, Landon and everyone associated with Rustic Pines Retreat!

My college friends and I met up for a long weekend at the cabin. We had a great stay. The cabin was super clean & had everything we needed for cooking, coffee & opening wine! We each had our own bedroom & appreciated the comfortable beds & cozy bedding. The whole cabin has modern decor and great wifi. The property is lovely & you feel very much in nature- but we drove to a Weis & restaurant in less than 20 minutes. Would recommend!

Great home away from home… all the comforts of home were provided. Landon was a great host - very responsive and proactive. Well-stocked kitchen, big bathroom, beautiful linens, clean and accommodating. My only complaint is that we had to forgo the movie night that we planned because we couldn’t get the tv apps to work - couldn’t have the code to access the account logged in but also couldn’t log out of the owner’s accounts so we could log into our own. It was a temporary frustration but we got over it and figured something else out.
We will come back!

The photos are accurate and do not do this cabin justice. The cabin itself is located on the edge of Bald Eagle Forest, just inside of Centre county. The furnishings are very comfortable, great for relaxing and unwinding. The kitchen is VERY well stocked and equipped. This cabin was EXTERMELY CLEAN!! Given the location was expecting a lot of dust, cobwebs, etc., but none found. The linens and towels are newer and of good quality. The lot for the cabin is mowed, so you have a yard to play in with kids. Owner's WIFI worked well (you probably won't get any other service here regardless of carrier). There is a cross country ski trail just in front of the property that can be used for hiking. We went fishing at Penn's Creek (about 25 min). Plenty of dining options within 20 minutes of cabin, west to Millheim, east to Mifflinburg. You can barely see one other cabin through the trees, so while close you have plenty of privacy. Although we knew there were other families nearby from the occasional car passing the cabin driveway, we didn't hear a peep (no party cabins nearby!) All in all a great location with great amenities to get away from things. Note- Do not attempt to drive a low clearance car there (sports car type). Ave. car or SUV will get by just fine, but the driveway is gravel with some ruts, so low riding cars may bottom out. Highly recommend.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The area is so beautiful. We loved walking around the property and enjoyed fires in the evening. I love that there is an option for the screened in porch as it rained for some brief periods but we could stay enjoy the outdoors. Listening to the rain hit the metal roof was wonderful.
The home is cozy and clean. The bathtub is huge and such a nice addition especially when traveling with small children. Speaking of children we loved having some toys for the kids to enjoy and also loved that one of the beds was low to the ground. We would love to visit again sometime!
