This place was absolutely amazing. It was a great price, beautiful decor, and they really thought out every minor detail. They were so sweet sending local places to eat, and hikes and so responsive. We booked this place to celebrate our anniversary, we wanted a place to get away and just relax and this was absolutely perfect. It was nice having a hot tub, and we enjoyed the games and ring toss. Plus we’ve always wanted to stay in a shipping container and this experience was so fun! Definitely would stay here again :)

The location was really beautiful and serene. The kitchen and living space was oriented perfectly and made staying there stress free. The bathroom and linens were clean and the hot tub was clean and clearly well maintained. I was surprised to even see some fun games to play during our down time. The pond was not what we expected but we had fun sitting by it and chatting. I do have some envy of our neighbors in the 2.0 location who have the waterfall but for what we paid, this was amazing and the best air bnb experience I have ever had. For future guests make sure you buy groceries before you get close to the place because there is no grocery stores within a continent distance.

It didn't disappoint, it matched the pictures and was a great experience. We will go back for a longer stay sooner than later. The Hot Tube was clean and the roof top its a great place to be to enjoy the day and rhe garage door makes it feel more open. When raining you can still be outside because it has a roof at patio. Clean! and we love clean!

Husband and I visited the area for a quick two day trip to celebrate our anniversary. Went for a hike at Dupont Forest during the day then headed to the Shipyard late afternoon/evening. Very cool spot, you can tell a lot of thought went into the design. Everything was super clean and new feeling. Loved all the amenities (gourmet coffee, hot tub, card games, fire pit) and the kitchen was stocked enough for us to cook a nice steak dinner. The only drawback would be that it's not 100% private in the winter as the trees are all leafless, but I'm sure they provide ample coverage for privacy during the rest of the year. Would love to bring the family back as I think my kids would get a kick out of staying there.

The place was absolutely perfect for our honeymoon. We loved the location in the woods that made it feel peaceful and cozy. Our favorite part was the hot tub— even though it was in the 20s and 30s, we loved the hot tub and it wasn’t too cold getting out. The kitchen had everything we needed including an awesome espresso maker with lots of options. We were able to cook breakfast and some small dinners with the stovetop, which made it feel right at home. The bathroom was squeaky clean and great for getting ready for our day trips to Asheville and cleaning up for the night. The place had the perfect cozy up on the couch and watch Christmas movies feel! Landon was an amazing host and made sure we were having a great experience by asking us if we needed anything. Checking in and out felt seamless. We 100% recommend staying here!

My wife and I loved this property! We booked it last minute and very happy that we chose this place. It is one of our favorite Air Bnb properties we have stayed at anywhere in world. The home is in a very peaceful location and is exactly as advertised. The hot tub, fire pit and rooftop were fantastic. It was thoughtfully laid out and the bed was extremely comfortable. My husband and I went to the shipyard for his birthday, and it was everything that we were expecting. The place was super clean, and not only was it presentable, but it looked cool too. We loved the coffee maker and enjoyed the other amenities, such as the rooftop terrace and the hot tub. Even though it rained pretty much the whole weekend that we were there and couldn't enjoy the outside yard, we didn't feel crowded inside the house. It is so well distributed that it feels bigger. We went to some of the places that the host suggested, such as Iron Key Brewery which was fantastic. We also visited Mountain Brook Vineyard and had a decent experience there as well. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to any of my friends or family and would also like to visit it again ourselves in the future.

My boyfriend chose this place as a surprise weekend get away for us. It was amazing! It is even better than the pictures. It was secluded, but their was an interactive touchscreen inside with nearby restaurants and other suggestions. The place is very modern, and unique. It’s the perfect place to get away for the weekend. The attention to detail was amazing.
My boyfriend and I went to the grocery store, so we could cook on the grill on the property. The fire pit is great for a cold night and for making s’mores. We also tried out the hot tub before heading in to watch a movie and snuggle up. The host has some games too, if you have a family.
They are really responsive and make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay.
I would definitely stay here again! It’s worth the price and perfect for anytime of the year.

The host went over and beyond to accommodate me and my wife. We had a short stay at this Airbnb for a getaway for our anniversary. We were welcomed with wine and a card which we had no idea was going to be there.Besides the host being great and super responsive, the stay was amazing. Felt like a private getaway very peaceful but still close enough to things to do. Also was given plenty of recommendations which did not disappoint. 10 out of 10 for sure.

We spent two nights at the Green Creek Shipyard, celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary. This container home was beautifully designed and impeccably clean. The kitchen was well stocked, and we found everything we needed on site. I typically over pack for trips but packed very minimally for this stay. I loved that I wasn't without any of the typical comforts of home. The property felt peacefully tucked away and well maintained. The space was clean and cute. The upstairs loft was unfortunately very uncomfortable for adults but my daughter loved it. A curtain of some sort to provide a small amount of privacy and to close off the space would be great since there is a huge garage door right next to you. There were a lot of little bugs around but you are in the woods. This space has the best outdoor accomodations I have seen in my many years of using this app. We loved the small touches the owners included to make the space just that much better. We look forward to coming back!

The Shipyard Container is a perfect getaway. The property is located in the middle of a few farms but there are some great little towns and lakes nearby. The property itself is fantastic. It was clean, well maintained and nicely stocked. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. We will probably come back to stay at 2.0 sometime in the near future.

Lovely property. Comfortable and well appointed. No luck with the pour-over coffee apparatus, but a backup coffee pot was provided and local coffee, which was flavorful. Shower is small but had good pressure; hot water lasted around 10 minutes, so keep in mind if you like a longer shower. Luckily, there's the hot tub. The chemicals were extremely pungent when we first got in, so I recommend opening it up and letting it air out for a couple of hours prior. We couldn't find any matches or kindling, so we had some trouble getting the fire pit going; I recommend bringing whatever you need to ensure use of that amenity. Also, bring some repellant and/or bug bite cream if you're sensitive to mosquitoes or ants. The property is rural and near water, so it's to be expected; just be prepared. It was a bit pricey if you're just looking for a place to sleep at night. If you're going to spend a lot of your time on the property, then the value is better. Overall, nice stay. We hope to return!

The positive:
On our way to the location we were greeted by views of the mountains at sunset. Upon arrival we were relieved and thrilled to see the location was exactly as described.
We were provided with a clear, helpful manual that was a great resource. I knew that if I did come across a question that Landon would be responsive.
The property had two container homes on it but our space felt private. We were surprised to see a cute little pond in the back of our space. We enjoyed the sounds of nature at night and howling coyotes in the morning.
The home had basic amenities as well as helpful touches such as paper towel, napkins and games to use
The negative:
Shopping and restaurants were a distance from the location.
Rugs did not have a slip mat under so my clumsy 5 year old had a small tumble early on. No harm done, just a consideration for the future.
Future guests should expect a bug or two inside due to proximity of nature.

We had an amazing stay. The container has been furnished perfectly. It felt much roomier than we expected. I will be staying here again or at the Shipyard 2.0. There was firewood for the fire pit, ring toss under the awning and little pond had some small fish swimming around. Very quiet and felt secluded. Highly recommend for anyone trying to get away. Cannot say enough good things about this place.

Our family really enjoied our stay at the Shipyard! It was very clean and cozy. The hot tub felt amazing. We enjoied playing ring toss, there was a wine opener and even a cigar cutter! Coffee was provided(wish was a nice touch). We enjoied breakfast on the top deck and the kids loved the egg chairs. We will definitely stay again! The ower was also very responsive and accommodating! Great place for a quiet little getaway! Our family of 4, with 2 teenage boys stayed comfortably for a few nights during spring break. They specifically loved the hot tub and the hike we took that was recommended to us in the host’s guidebook. We’ve always wanted to stay in a container home and it was everything we’d hope it would be. You will love the lighting, ambiance, style & energy this place has! Looks like it’s right out of a magazine! We really appreciated having some waters and the coffee was a bonus! Thank you for the hospitality!

I booked this stay as a weekend getaway for my wife and I. I wanted something unique and private, and this property fit the bill. From the time that I booked until after our stay, Landon made sure we were taken care of. The property was just as described and pictured. Everything was updated and in good working order. We also thought the firewood and coffee were nice touches. This property was exactly what we needed for a quiet weekend away.

I couldn’t have picked a better place to spend my anniversary. Our goal was to relax and do nothing! And that’s what we did. It was the perfect getaway. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location. Landon’s communication was phenomenal from booking to during the stay. We packed a cooler and cooked all our meals. The grill, hot tub and fire pit were great amenities. The place was stocked with all the necessities you could think of as well. We can’t wait to book again. If you’re hesitant to book - don’t be :)

Our stay in this unique place was nothing short of exactly what we needed. The place was extremely clean and welcoming. We appreciate the attention to detail that Landon and his family put into this home. Got rented this place for a couple days just to relax and it was perfect. We enjoyed the hot tub and sat by a fire both nights and even commented on how quiet and peaceful it was outside. It rained so we couldn’t go on any hikes but we will definitely be coming back. This is a great place to stay.

This place is amazing!!! Very good work on coziness and cleanliness. All staple items were provided which was a plus. It was nice to stay in a peaceful landscape. Ring toss become a favorite of ours and the hot tub was an added bonus to soak in the nature at night. The host was very punctual and did a great job. Will be happy to deal with them in the future. The nearby equestrian center was great to visit. Along with Lake Lure, a brewery, and some great restaurants, we had an amazing time here. Can’t wait to go back and visit.

We had a great time at this Airbnb! Everything was very thought out and communication was great! Our toddler had his pack n play in the main room, so we took the loft. It was a squeeze but worked perfectly! This was a perfect 1 night stay - wish we could have done just one more! We will be back.

This place was amazing!! Instant feeling of relaxation that was so needed! Clean and comfortable! Hubby and I bought groceries and stayed in after the first night. Enjoyed the fire pit as it was cold, bring a fire poker tho. What a cute surprise for coffee, bring your cream and sugar and enjoy! The bed was extremely comfortable and smelled so clean!! Thankful to find this gem! Will definitely tell family and friends so they can relax also! Looking forward to another long weekend here! Definitely worth staying here as it exceeded all expectations! I can not rave enough about our weekend stay at Shipyard! My husband and I had the ultimate plan to go “off the grid “ “unplug” from our extremely busy lives. We wanted to just have basic essential’s fresh air and quality time! Albeit the steady rain all weekend, it did not stop us from enjoying the peace and quiet, the wood fires, the hot tub, cornhole, and ring toss (such childhood nostalgia)!! It was a calming little slice of heaven to hit the reset button on our 11th anniversary !
Thank you so much for the organic, well designed, high functioning retreat! If you are reading this and hesitant, don’t wait! You are close to hiking trails and water falls by driving maybe 10 minutes max down the road! We stocked our yeti with adult beverages, steak, hamburger, and chicken, along with salad baked potatoes, and snacky foods. It was perfect and ideal for cooking on the grill! The two burner stove was perfect to lend a hand on sautéed veggies! And can we talk about the coffee! We unfortunately do not have the time in the morning to make coffee the old school way but time slows down if you unplug while you’re there and I assure you, if you love coffee, you will brew the best cup of coffee you have had in a long time!!!

this is a great spot especially the outside area including the hot tub fire pit and rooftop deck. the inside space is small especially if you are not familiar with shipping container size. but the host definitely packed a lot into this shipping container and it's well designed. it's also great area to explore I had never been to this part of North Carolina and it's quite beautiful.

We had a pleasant visit to The Green Creek Shipyard. The house is private, comfortable, bright, well-designed, and very organized. The place was easy to find, and we had a lovely drive into town.
The lower bed/room is bright and comfortable. The garage door and open living space were lovely, and the bathroom has plenty of room and amenities. The loft area was a fun adventure for my 2 and 4-year-old, but it was much warmer than the rest of the container and didn’t have much air flow; it would have been nice to have a small fan up there. And the loft mattress was a single sheet of foam, definitely not a comfortable sleeping area for an adult. The fridge is relatively small, so I recommend bringing a cooler if you plan to eat more than a meal or two at the house. We didn’t try swimming in the pond but enjoyed the sound of the frogs jumping in each time we walked by. There is a second container going up within sight of this one; there is plenty of space between the two, just an FYI.
In the area, the Mill Spring Farm store is worth a visit, they have a great selection of both local brand name foods and snacks & there is an ice cream shop right next door. We also went on the Little Bradley Falls hike, which was lovely (there are notes about getting there at the house), and the kids had a great time playing in the water at the falls. It’s worth noting that there is an upper and lower trail for this hike, and the lower path is significantly more complicated - once you find the unmarked trailhead, take the path on the left if you’re looking for a kid-friendly hike. We also visited the recommended horse show, which was terrific; an artificial turf hill was a big hit with the kids, and lots of food, drinks, treats, and entertainment. Everyone we interacted with in Columbus was incredibly welcoming and kind. I’d recommend a visit.

Everything as pictured. This location is private and well thought out with relaxation in mind. Everything is laid out for small living with upscale vibes. It captures cozy and comfortable inside and out in all the ways you want. Cook a meal at home or make a short drive to Bowen’s landing for an amazing dinner. On the way back I suggest visiting Moutan Brook Vineyards for a bottle of wine overlooking rolling hills with vineyard and sunset views. Finish off the most relaxing day with a quick dip in the hot tub under the glow of the lights. You will not be disappointed in the time spent here. 10/10

Such an amazing stay!! Exactly as advertised and was very relaxing a for a short trip to the area that was driven by the stay looking so unique as we knew nothing else about the area, but Landon’s recommendations were spot on (be sure to read the guest book for others!) . Landon was upfront and communicated with me a couple days before the trip about the wifi being out (no fault of his or the stay, but a larger issue) but had great cell service and plenty of LTE to still use all apps and internet on phones. Such a fun stay that we never even turned the tv on!

Such a great spot in a location I would it have normally looked at. I often use AirBNB to guide me to new places of the states and this BNB did exactly that. I was on a road trip from STL through Great Smokies, to Congaree and then New River Gorge. This was the perfect mid-trip spot to relax, read, write and relax. The bedroom was cozy, the outdoors amenities were great, and being near smaller towns with charm was great. Definitely will recommend and be back.

This place is exactly what my husband and I needed!:) Relaxing-peaceful-quiet. This container takes outdoor living to another level. Truly felt like we were waking up nature everyday especially with being able to put up the glass garage door. The fire pit and grill were perfect, they were both used everyday, but our favorite spot was the rooftop deck. Perfect for yoga and afternoon sunning or reading a good book. We loved it so much, we can’t wait to build a little spot like this of own. If you are looking for a place to just get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is it!

The Green Creek Shipyard AirBnB is beautiful and made for a relaxing weekend vacation. We spent our time playing corn hole, soaking in the private hot tub, enjoying coffee on the front patio, and reading in the sun. Every detail was thought of to make the AirBnB and property feel like home. It was clean, bright, and homey. The host maintained great communication to ensure we were comfortable and didn’t need anything during our stay. The only thing to note is while on the property, we saw a copperhead snake due to the AirBnB being tucked away in nature. AHHHHHH WE LOVED THIS PLACE!!!! It's super private but is a short drive (4 min) away from a really cute vineyard, and 20-30min away from little towns that have cute restaurants and beautiful views. We had a great time experiencing the container home! The bedding is super comfortable and our 14 year old loved the loft. We of course enjoyed the hot tub and just spending time as a family in a quiet small town. Make sure to go to the little neighboring town of Saluda and eat at the Purple Onion!
If you want more activity Asheville is a short drive but we appreciated the quiet and simplicity of this location.
There are lots of hiking areas around although we felt a little lazy and just enjoyed eating and resting ?. Landon and his siblings did a great job on the container home. Impressive !!

The most perfect place to stay in if you’re looking for relaxing alone time. Landon was quick to answer all of my questions before arrival regarding what was at the Airbnb/what we needed to provide ourselves. We cooked a delicious dinner on the grill and spent the majority of our time in the hot tub. We lit a fire and were amazed by the amount of stars we could see in the sky. Everything about this stay was clean, peaceful, and perfect. We only stayed for one night, but both wished we could have stay longer. Such a good find!!

Amazing and gorgeous tiny house!!! The whole experiences was excellent, the place is private and you can see the stars with the fireplace, or enjoy the winter from the jacuzzi, and have a barbecue upstairs in the open roof as you hear the birds singing. Everything inside is pretty, comfortable and more than enough. We had a little trouble with the wifi but Landon help us out as soon as he could! I really recommend this place, I can see there’s a lot of love built into that house. Can’t wait to go again! Didn’t wanna leave…

My fiancé and I had an amazing time at our first tiny house! We especially loved the outdoor amenities such as the hot tub and fire pit. The interior design was very trendy, clean, and relaxing. The bedroom window was a huge plus as we really enjoyed waking up to a view of our private yard and pond. We left the house briefly to visit Mountain Brook Vineyards and Tryon Equestrian Center and they were both incredible! Our host, Landon, was very attentive and made sure we have everything we needed. I highly recommend adding this spot to your tiny house bucket list!

WOW. I was absolutely blown away with this container cabin. The amenities and decor were absolutely perfect! I have always wanted to stay in a container and took advantage of a one night availability. I took full advantage of the fire pit and hot tub. Sadly it rained, so I could not sit by the cute pond on the property. It was also very easy to find, directions were very thorough. Landon reached out a few times to ensure I had everything I needed. Looking for a four day getaway near great hiking, Landon’s place was perfect for my partner and I! We loved the thoughtful design, excellent communication about the place (including great recommendations ahead of the stay!), and the hiking nearby— we did three day hikes in the area, from Bradley Falls close by, to a loop along Lake Lure, to one in Pisgah National Forest with a fantastic view. If you’re looking for a quiet place to rest, relax, enjoy some quality time (particularly with some built in activities like the question card deck, ring toss, and Hot Tub), this is a fantastic location!

We loved our stay at the Green Creek Shipyard! The listing accurately reflects the space and the amenities, but being there yourself is the best way to fully appreciate the care that went into creating such a beautiful and cozy place to stay. The container space is perfect for two people - but the real magic is in how the garage door and outdoor areas make the whole place seem so much larger. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub every evening of our stay (what a luxury!) and felt safe and secluded.
Landon was a great host: responsive and helpful! His recommendations for breakfast at Southern Manners (Columbus) and the scenic drive up to White Oak mountain were fantastic!

This container stay was amazing. I throughly enjoyed everything. From the hot tub, string lights at night, the deck, the games available that are already provided, the peacefulness of the location, the whole atmosphere was everything. Everything you needed is provide but the hosts. Pots, pans, all the kitchen utensils that you need to cook a meal are already there for you. That was an ease. The seating and fire pit area was great. Everything is also provided for you to start a fire. Landon also sent over a long message of things in the area to do and see. We tried to get to a few in which we did. Chimney rock was great, we visited the flower bridge, grabbed some great ice cream, and got to see some great Mountain View’s. Definitely have to go back again. Literally didn’t have to leave the house if you didn’t want to. I highly recommend visiting this well designed shipping container.

This listing is perfect if you want an escape to reset and emerge yourself into nature. This area has many amazing views and nearby Mountains. The hosts are very intentional with how the space was designed and set you up with what you need for your time there. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely incredible place!! We spent the second part of our honeymoon and it was without saying, the best part of our trip. It was absolutely beautiful and so relaxing. Hot tub in the morning was wonderful and the winery’s near by were amazing!!

My boyfriend and I had the most peaceful weekend away from the city here. Landon was so friendly and responsive. He really ensured we enjoyed our stay and values customer service! Landon is a wonderful host. He sent a big list of things to do in the area like hiking, wineries, food, etc. The place was exactly like the pictures and description. It was very clean, chic, private, and peaceful. We stayed at the Airbnb the entire 3 day stay and cooked every meal there. The kitchen has everything you could need. We spent our mornings making coffee, listening to music, and reading. We played the card games provided (the game “So…” was 10/10), spent evenings in the hot tub, hung out on the top deck to cook, read in the loft and just enjoyed the peace and quiet! My boyfriend was obsessed with the ring toss. I loved the garage door/window aspect, we kept it open when we cooked or just wanted to enjoy the view. It was the perfect nature seclusion vacation that we were looking for. This place is worth it and very valuable! I recommend to everyone that is looking for a place to relax and enjoy nature.

My sister and I stayed at the Green Creek Shipyard for four nights. We were just looking to get away for a while to take a break, relax, and have a little fun. This property was perfect for just that! It is tucked away a little bit off the road and is mostly surrounded by woods and a little creek, so there's plenty of privacy. The property is beautiful and full of things to do. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, cornhole set, and the grill that is located on the upper patio. There were also some card games and a TV with all of the major streaming platforms available inside for rainy days.
Landon provided a lot of great recommendations for local places to visit including some nearby hiking paths. We really enjoyed hiking at Little Bradley Falls and Chimney Rock State Park. Check in and check out was a breeze, and Landon was quick to respond with answers to the few questions we had for him. He even stopped by one day to repair a ring toss game on the property and was extremely friendly and even shared a little bit about their journey in creating this great little escape!
Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area.

Another fun and unique stay. The access to it is very easy and the road is well maintained and parking areas is large.
The inside is very cozy. We did bump our head on the top level bed few times, so be careful sleeping at the top. We enjoyed the hot tub spa, balcony, and fire pit. Definitely will recommend to others!

One of the best airbnbs we've ever stayed in! Very unique and well done. Very clean and we loved the outdoor space. We spent most of the weekend on the property. My 4.5 year old daughter had a blast. Its behind another property but felt secluded. We loved the firepit area and the roof top deck. Would definitely return. Landon is a great host :-)

I think our only recommendation would be a broom the floors floor got a little messy with the kids. Also on the top patio to the right of the grill. I think there is a hornet or wasp nest growing under the wood. We saw a lot go in through the gaps of the wood.

This was such a unique and fun stay for us! A quick trip away from Charlotte to a great wine region in NC. We loved how quiet the area was and how cozy and unique the container was. We like unique places to stay and this one is now top of our list! Every detail in the shipping container was put together with intention.
The kitchen had plenty to offer. We could’ve eaten every meal in-house if we wanted. I didn’t expect that in the small space.
The big windows were awesome. We love the natural lighting and it opened up the space. Obviously the hot tub was a favorite too! We spent our evenings winding down enjoying the quiet outdoors and lots of green space views. We wanted to get away from the hustle and that’s exactly what we got. We truly appreciated the undisturbed privacy. It made the space even more peaceful and serene.
We hiked at Chimney Rock our first day. It was fun and simple enough. The best find after that was Hickory Nut Gorge Brewery. You can drink beers and sit in the river or on the deck above. If you need a nearby adventure check out Green River Cove tubing. It’s a fun adventure for the family.
Southern Manners was delicious for breakfast and surprised us with some homemade bread in the French toast. We lucked out on our way home and found a little place close by in Landrum called Southern Delights and More. The breakfast, coffee, and service were absolutely phenomenal. We got three desserts to take home with us too!
Definitely treat yourself and stay at this AirBnb. Landon and his siblings were exceptional in the planning and in hosting. Landon checked in via message a couple times to be sure we had what we needed. Thanks again!

We had a fantastic time at the Shipyard this weekend! Landon was very welcoming and accommodating and when I let him know we were having an issue with the hot tub, he came out right away and fixed it! We enjoyed the wonderful view, the hot tub,fire pit, corn hole and many other wonderful amenities that this venue had to offer! We also tried out the coffee shop that Landon recommended “Open road” i believe it was called , and we enjoyed some of the best coffee we have had in a while! I would recommend this amazing air bnb and Landon , our amazing host to anyone. We will definitely be back in the fall/ winter! You will not regret visiting the Green Creek Shipyard!

Perfect secluded getaway for 2. The layout and grounds were so nicely designed. For a container house, the bathroom was bigger than expected and the additional outdoor spaces were perfect. We felt like we were alone in the wilderness and were never bothered by anyone during our stay. Sometimes pictures can be deceiving about the surroundings but these were accurate.

The Green Creek Shipyard is a lovely home. The nice private area makes it even more beautiful. My fiancé and I bonded a lot, and enjoyed the slower pace. The house is very beautiful, clean, and updated. Landon is very responsive and accommodating. The ring toss and bean bag toss was very fun. I was determined to master both before the end of our trip. I would definitely recommend for a couples getaway. I plan to definitely visit again.

This stay is absolutely perfect. The thoughtfulness and intentionality that went into every detail of this space is evident. We spent a evening grilling on the roof patio, making s’mores in the fire pit and watching fireflies in the hot tub. We enjoyed playing the ring toss game as well as the “so..” card deck game. The next morning we made hand ground coffee and enjoyed it by the pond. Everything that we needed and more was provided. Landon was attentive and easy to communicate with. We are already planning our next trip to the shipyard. ?

I had an incredible stay at the shipyard! It is a perfect combination of comfort and nature. The space is well-designed and very comfortable. I slept wonderfully! My favorite part was the outdoor space they have created. I sat by the pond, I sat on the deck, I sat by the fire pit, I think the only thing I didn't take advantage of was the hot tub! Watching the sun set, followed by fireflies, and then stars, was amazing. I loved the coffee set up! I only wish I could have stayed longer! As a woman traveling alone I felt very safe and comfortable there. I would recommend Landon's place to anyone looking to enjoy the NC foothills and renew themselves with some peace & quiet.

We feel so refreshed!!! We live, eat and breathe city life 365 for all of our lives. It was so nice to get away to a change in pace and scenery. This was the perfect spot to do so, we didn’t miss anything of city life for the days we stayed. The amenities kept us satisfied and if you’re up for exploring, the area is absolutely gorgeous with lakes and waterfalls, we couldn’t get enough. The hosts were so attentive and gracious. We felt very comfortable and well taken care of especially since we were new to this type of vacation so it was great that Landon was so awesome.

My wife and I visited for a quick anniversary getaway and really loved this place! It’s unique experience being in a container, but it has so much space. We didn’t even use the upper patio, but the hot tub and fire pit space were great. We did a couple nice hikes and went to the equestrian center for dinner and to watch the horses. What a neat place we loved every detail of the unique stay . We stayed with our family here and enjoyed some down time before heading back from a long drive from Florida. My kids really enjoyed the loft , Ring toss . We were really able to just slow down and enjoy each other. This place is truly magical and a great place to vacation at. The property itself is beautiful with everything you would need. It looks exactly like the photos and then some. The little pond is incredible to sit by and watch the wildlife. Landon's recommendations as far as wineries, coffee and bakery shops are all fantastic and you should also visit those. Lake Lure is only 25 minutes north and has lots of activities to offer. The place is clean, comfortable, fun, inspiring and worth it! It's very private, the only place not entirely secluded is the rooftop deck, but we didn't see anyone the week we were down there. So basically be mindful if you're naked on the roof. Play the ring toss game, I was horrible at the beginning and averaging two shots per hook at the end and that was very rewarding. Landon's response time was immediate, we didn't need anything we were only curious about the kind of fish in the pond and he was quick to reply!

At first, I was worried to book this stay because there were quite literally zero reviews when I confirmed the booking but, WOW, am I happy that I took the chance and decided to book this seriously amazing place! The Green Creek Shipping Container home is truly such a unique stay and you can tell that the siblings put in so much effort when creating it. No detail was left unthought of and the amenities were on point. The photos are exactly how the place really looks but if you want to get an even deeper dive into what to expect, look up Levi Kelly’s review of the Green Creek Shipyard on YouTube. He goes over every detail and will get you even more stoked for your stay. We didn’t even know about this famous YouTuber review until we got to the home and saw it on the TV’s recent searches – It was posted not even a week before our stay. It was fun to watch it while actually inside the home!
Like I said, every detail was so well-thought-out when the siblings created this home. Pretty much all items that you might need are included, such as paper towels, games (including corn hole and ring toss, which we finally mastered by the end of the stay), nice shampoo/conditioner/soaps/body wash (not the crappy kind you find in a hotel either, it was actually nice stuff that doesn’t instantly result in split ends), towels, wood for the firepit, all grill essentials, pots, pans, silverware, cups, plates, you name it. The only thing we needed to buy were plastic cups for inside the hot tub but plenty of nice cups are provided for purposes other than hot-tubbing. We also really enjoyed the subtle touches, such as the neat self-grind pour over coffee! But if you’re not feeling that process, they also had a real coffee pot but, I mean, who doesn’t like making it from scratch and grinding their own beans? *If you’re there on a Saturday morning, be sure to go to the local Amish bakery to enjoy some fresh donuts with your homemade coffee!* Overall, there really wasn’t anything that we thought “man, we wish they would’ve had that.” Landon and team already thought of it all!
We especially liked the hot tub and little pond behind the house that we could sit near and sip our freshly ground coffee in the morning while listening to frogs and the sounds of nature. The rooftop deck with the spiral staircase was awesome too and we enjoyed grilling out one night and sitting up there on the wooden bar that overlooks the pond. And I can’t forget to mention the working garage door in the middle of the home! Only warning about that is if you leave it open too long, I guarantee that bugs would get in, especially at night, so we opted to only open it to see how it works (and for a video opp. of course).
As other reviewers have said, this stay definitely gives the “small home” vibe but that’s ultimately why we chose it. The place was perfect for my boyfriend and I for three nights, but we were glad that it was just the two of us because we had the perfect amount of space. There’s also a ton of privacy and we never saw even one of the neighbors. You can’t see any of the surrounding homes from the container because it’s nestled back at the bottom of the hill, which gave it a nice and secluded feeling.
Communication by Landon was excellent as well and he was always quick to respond. He even went the lengths to send us a recommended things-to-do-list before our stay. There are tons of cool activities and places to see within an hour drive (most even shorter than that!) that you should definitely check out if you stay here. I recommend Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, Mountain Brook Vineyards and the Tryon International Equestrian Center. If you’re driving through the Pisgah National Forest area at any point or are willing to make the hour-or-so drive, I 10/10 recommend going up Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway to the Pisgah Inn Restaurant and overlook. Breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains!
I anticipate that this awesome stay will gain a lot of traction very quickly, so book while you can!

My girlfriend and I spent our 2 year anniversary here and we had an amazing time! The inside of the container feels very homey and was very well decorated. The outside area is even better! We enjoyed spending our nights out there playing games, grilling, and relaxing in the hot tub. It was the perfect place to spend some quality time together and we will definitely plan a trip back in the future. Landon was a great host and made sure we enjoyed our stay! Cleanliness, design, seclusion get top marks. Be aware it is a smaller place, and there is really no place to store clothing.
That said, the roll-up door to the covered patio & hot tub opens things nicely.
