The Palmy Pickle

We had a wonderful stay at Landon’s home! We were a short drive from Siesta Key, loved utilizing the pickleball court, and walking on the trail behind a nearby neighborhood. The fantastic FL weather made it even better!

Landon was very communicative prior to and during our stay. The house was nicely renovated and clean, and was adequately stocked with cooking supplies, cleaning products, toiletries/soap, and toilet paper, etc. About a half mile away is an Amish coffee shop/bakery/restaurant named Yoder’s, which we enjoyed. We enjoyed our stay very much!

This was a perfect spot for my 3 sons to enjoy 3 rounds of golf in Sarasota! It was close for all activities we all did as a family. I would not hesitate to recommend this home for anyone looking to travel to Sarasota, Florida.

Would absolutely recommend staying at this Sarasota gem! Very easy to get around town while visiting family. We loved the pickleball court and enjoyed playing though it’s concrete and has a temporary net (only important for more serious play!). The place was clean and well maintained. Worked well for 6 adults. Be aware it’s on a main road and you’ll hear street noise (though they thoughtfully included a noise machine in the primary bedroom!). We enjoyed the fire pit too! Overall great stay.

We had the pleasure of staying at this home for 4 weeks. It was truly such a peaceful oasis! I felt like I was in our own private paradise daily. There is some road noise and the driveway is a tight squeeze but I expected those things from the listing.
A previous review I read mentioned roaches. I didn’t see a single one during our stay! In addition, a very experienced pest control provider came by during our stay and does regular treatments.
Landon and his team were so responsive to any needs we had and were great to work with! I highly recommend renting a home with them!

We loved our stay at the Palmy pickle! The pickleball court was a huge hit with my family & we got many hours of enjoyment out of it. So many windows the house that brought in a ton of natural light. The house is on a busy, main road, but there is little to no road noise while you are in the house - I was happy about that. Loved all the beautiful landscaping & the updated look of the entire house.

Landon’s home was wonderful. We had to scramble to find a place after staying at a hotel
that was less than desirable. Luckily for us Landon’s place was available. The home was just as described and had all the amenities we needed for our large family. The home was spacious, well decorated, and really clean. Cleanliness is the most important thing to me when picking a place to stay and this place checked all the boxes. It was well stocked with towels/washcloths and toilet paper. The kitchen had plates and forks and the fridge was super clean as well. We found a nice little Italian restaurant about 10 mins away that we frequented the entire trip. Publix and other eatery was nearby as well. To top it off there is a pickleball court in the backyard that my family enjoyed. Super cool place and would stay again when back in the area for soccer.

We had a great stay and would return to this location. The house was completely remodeled, clean, modern and spacious. The layout was a great fit for our two families with young children. The kids loved the room with the three twin beds as well as playing on the game table. The house looked exactly like the photos. It was clean, in good condition and there were many thoughtful touches to make our stay even more comfortable. For example, there was a wagon filled with beach towels and beach chairs ready for a nice day at the beach. The host is very responsive and helpful, including sending an info guide ahead of our stay with area information. The location is close to several Sarasota attractions and in a safe neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay!

The Palmy Pickle was perfect for our family trip to Sarasota for a basketball tournament. It was clean and stocked, with comfortable beds and hot showers. We enjoyed the local amenities provided by the Pinecraft community, including the Der Dutchman, Yoder's Market, Pizza, Ice Cream, and bike rentals a few blocks away. INCREDIBLE home in Sarasota. Absolutely spotless and so comfortable. It felt like we were staying at a hotel/resort. Kitchen and bathrooms were gorgeous and newly renovated. Bedrooms were quiet, stylish, and had the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. Landscaping on the property was immaculate. Landon was super responsive and actively reached out during the stay to make sure we had everything we needed.

5 Stars!!!!! This house has been completely remodeled from top to bottom and it is essentially brand new. All the furnishings are new as well. It is so well done and the landscaping is beyond beautiful! We loved the pickle ball court, the game board, and the screened in porch. The beds were all super comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The house is on a busy street, but it didn’t bother us. The bedrooms are in the back and it was very quiet. This is the one! Don’t hesitate!

This was an amazing stay. The pictures are welcoming and intriguing, but still do not do its justice. The home is really clean and cozy. This is the first time we felt at home. Everything was meticulously placed we learned as we found more useful things as the time passed. The layout welcomes a family to enjoy different parts of the house all at the same time. It is very close to Whole Foods, Publix, and the beach., all within 10-15 minutes away. The hosts were very attentive to our needs and responded promptly with any question we had. This will not be the last time we come here and if you are coming to Sarasota (Siesta Key) we recommend this stay, look no further.
