This was one of the hardest vacations to leave. The house was perfect for our family (3 generations / 6 adults + 1 toddler), it was exactly as described / photographed. The location was so peaceful and relaxing. We spent most of our days on the lake with our kayaks, in the hot tub, or relaxing on the gorgeous deck taking in the view! We enjoyed walking to the many parks/playground. We are already planning our return trip.

Must see property!!!! This property was so beautiful, everything was exactly how it was the described. The view is picturesque and the house had everything we wanted. Great views of Arrowhead Lake, easy access to water and fun amenities made the trip. We took full advantage of the game room in the separated garage as well as the kayaks and fire pit. We also enjoyed the flock of ducks that would visit for daily "feedings". A nice, quieter private (gated) neighborhood made for a peaceful vacation. Plenty of space in the house, with nice finishes, good A/C and all of the typical amenities you would need. Not too far of a drive to local restaurants, convenience stores (Wawa) and grocery stores. Be sure to pickup some firewood from the local grocery store and kitchen garbage bags as well, as they are not provided (which is made clear in the guidelines).

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 college age children) had a wonderful stay in mid August. We especially enjoyed the beautiful outdoor location for dinner and sunset views each night over the lake. The 4 kayaks (one with a broken seat) were put to good use, as well as the hot tub and fire pit which turned out to be fantastic in the unexpected week of cooler weather that we experienced. We appreciated the proximity of the property to some great hiking trails and found a different one each day within 30 min drive. Overall, we had a fantastic getaway and thoroughly enjoyed the setting and the amenities of our stay on Lake Arrowhead.

Loved the house and the location. Gorgeous sunset right from the deck or backyard every night and the kids had a blast playing in the lake and the hot tub (this isn’t your typical hot tub…usually I’d stay away from a hot tub at a rental but clearly this is top of the line and something that is very well maintained (like the rest of the home). Would definitely stay here again in the future! Lastly, I didn’t understand why everyone kept mentioning ducks in their reviews but i definitely do now! They welcomed us almost every day and would walk right up to the kids and eat out of their hands.

I spent a week here in June, and it was exactly what I was looking for. Landon's home is a well sized, clean, well decorated, lake front home in a great community. It had excellent onsite amenities, and great amenities offered by the lakefront community. If you are looking for a peaceful lakefront location close to all your outdoor adventures then this is it. I swam the lake every morning, ran around the lake, kayaked the lake, biked through Jim Thorpe (30 mins away), hiked local areas, and relaxed every evening watching the sunset on the porch. I will definitely return with my family again.

What a beautiful view!! Landon's house provided the perfect getaway for my family. It's situated just steps from a very peaceful lake and abundant wildlife. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a deer and her two babies. They fed peacefully in the backyard while we watched quietly. It was the perfect welcome.
Landon's place is big! Way more sleeping arrangements than we expected. The main level has the master and two bedrooms. Downstairs is huge with multiple sleeping options. It was more than we needed. And the game room... Awesome!
The hot tub was enjoyable, grill was clean, kitchen was spotless, and all of the appliances worked great. 5 stars all around!
Even though the weather was hot, we made a fire each night and cooked s'mores. The fire pit was easy and made for a peaceful evening.
We found that 2 of the 4 kayaks needed some repairs, but we never had more than 2 of us wanting to kayak at the same time. So, it worked out okay.

The house was wonderful, I really enjoyed it, the house was clean and organized, the beds were all very comfortable, pillows too, only the kitchen was missing some utensils, I couldn't trust the seasonings they say they had there, there was a lack of sugar, salt and other things. things like these, paper towels only had one roll, there was no extra kitchen towel, there was only one, the knives are very bad for cutting, we went more to be able to fish but unfortunately we didn't catch any fish even though we tried everything we could and the shower in the bathrooms are bad I think they should put new ones

We had a fun and relaxing time at the lake house. Even when it rained we could hangout in the game room or just watch the lake and the ducks. The basement bathroom is awesome. If you have kids only enough there is “Crayola Experience” about 40 mins away. Didn’t get to use the canoes because of aforementioned storms but they are available. The community center has a gym and another game room. It was so quiet and tranquil to just sit and watch nature out the back of the house. I’d go back there this summer too.

This was a great get away for our family of 5. The house was just as pictured - super clean, plenty of space and beautiful views. The kitchen was very well equipped. The basement provided additional spaces to hang out with a walkout to the firepit, hot tub and dock. My teens loved the 'game room' - a separate garage with pool table, TV, pop a shot and skeeball. So many outdoor activities, we'll definitely look to come back in the summer - highly recommend!

Landon was a fantastic host. Proactive communication, friendly, detailed house manual (including checking in and departing), and provided list of local restaurants, activities, and attractions. The house was beautiful. Exquisite design coupled with a modern feel. The house also had features that added to the our enjoyment of the stay. Kayaks, hot tub, boat, fire pit, game area with billiards, basketball, skee -balll (my son’s favorite area). The house’s view overlooking the lake was breathtaking. My family and I had a wonderful time. We highly recommend Landon as a host and also the house we booked for our stay!

Honestly great place for a ski weekend getaway, it’s right by the lake and in a private community so you feel safe. The location is so close to many ski resorts as well great diners. The place is actually huge! Like you can have 2 families in the house easy! It can sleep 10-12 people comfortably, and you can entertain that many people easily too!

We had a great stay and loved everything about the house! Landon was so helpful and responsive, even providing us with a baby gate when I asked about it since we were coming with a toddler. My family loved all the comfortable lounge areas, it was perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway with beautiful lake views. We enjoyed the game room and hot tub so much! The beds were super comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone in the family. The listing notes 3 bedrooms but we were pleasantly surprised to find 5 bedrooms so we could spread out a little more! We are already talking about making plans to come back in the summer to be able to utilize the beautiful outdoor space more.

Beautiful lake front view house even in the winter, there is something about the serenity about the view. The house itself is very well maintained and constructed, it feels very fresh and it’s a perfect space for multiple guests to feel right at home. The basement and it’s suite is a perfect getaway even in the actual home after a long day. Landon was always responsive very helpful and there was even more instructions in the house that made everything more clear and easier overall. My guests and I had a wonderful time and truly can’t wait to visit once again, perhaps in the summer!

This place was amazing highly recommend it! The views of the lake were breathtaking. Just sitting outside by the bonfire and listening to the waves of the lake while surrounded by nature was the most relaxing experience. The house was clean and everything was just perfect. This place was wonderful! Arrowhead Lake is a private, gated community on a beautiful lake. We were there during the winter so weren’t able to take advantage of the many community amenities, but it was cool knowing the options were there. We even talked about returning during the warm seasons to take advantage of them.
The private community does mean there are more hoops to jump through to get in (did have an issue with the gate card keys), but with proper planning this shouldn’t be an issue.
The house itself is beautiful with a beautiful view! Very modern throughout with plenty of space and sleeping accommodations. The house was also very clean. Hot tub was nice and relaxing. The kitchen had some bare necessities, but plenty to get by with. The garage is a nice game room area with great options for indoor fun. Covered and uncovered deck options were also very convenient.
Landon himself was very responsive, communicative, and attentive.
Would very much love to return here!

Beautiful property! Clean and updated. The kids loved the gameroom in the detached garage. The beach towels near the door to the hot tube were a nice touch. The kitchen is definitely lacking in cookware, bakeware & serving dishes making it very challenging to prepare meals. Would definitely stay again.

We had everything we needed and more at this property! Plenty of space, amazing outdoor areas, and fun, easy to use recreational equipment made this a perfect place for a long weekend with extended family ranging from ages 7 to 73. We kayaked, canoed, and even caught fish right off the dock. The beautiful sunset views were enjoyable from every spot on the deck and from in the hot tub. Additionally, the garage stocked with games was such a bonus room for fun.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lake House. The spacious home was very welcoming, clean and tidy, with several locations to gather in groups. You can not beat the beautiful lakefront location which is just a short walk to one of the community beaches and a short drive to the Island Pool, both of which were clean and enjoyable. The incredible deck invites you to relax and view the gorgeous sunsets directly across the water. We spent time fishing off the dock and in the canoe, kayaking the lake, swimming, playing in the game room and soaking in the large hot tub. We only needed to call one time for a concern we had and service arrived within an hour. From toddlers to grandparents, a good time was had by all.

We stayed at this property w/another family so 4 adults + 5 kids. This property was perfect for us! The 4 kayaks & canoe were a huge bonus! We had more than enough life jackets for littles, bigs & adults + a variety of oar/paddle styles. We were very close to beach 3 and could ride in the kayaks or walk down. The house had everything we could want from little touches like tissues & hand soaps to the kids spaces w/plenty of books + games, a tent and the game room. We had TVs in multiple locations which was also great when our 5 kids wouldn’t agree on a movie to watch. We loved the deck: the view is stunning, the bar was a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee, the built in grill was definitely used a lot by us, & the seating area w/the tv was great for talking w/ friends or setting up the kids for movie night while we enjoyed the fire pit (& s’mores). Landon communicated w/me prior, during & after our stay! 5 stars all around! Highly recommended!

Our family had an amazing long weekend here! There was plenty of room for all of us and we especially loved the amount of seating both inside and outside for family meals and game time. The views were outstanding, we loved being within walking distance of the beach, having access to the pools and playgrounds, and the ability to launch canoes/paddleboards from the property. The hot tub and firepit allowed for great family time in the evenings.

This was a beautiful home for a family get together of 3 generations. The lake was wonderful. The game room kept everyone entertained in the evenings. The hot tub was fabulous. The house layout was excellent. There's a living room area on both floors. Plenty of space for everyone. Note in case someone has mobility issues there are a few stairs one needs to go up in order to get to the main level of the house that has the kitchen / dining room /upper deck.

Great host, very responsive. Landon made me feel very confident making my first Airbnb reservation.
This property, The Pines at Arrowhead Lake is perfect for an extended family get-together. Eight of us had plenty of space to relax, eat and play games.
The built in grill outside, plenty of seating and view of the lake was great. We had a fire ban during our stay, so didn't make use of the fire pit, but it would be great for grilling some steaks and s'mores.
The games room with fridge was a great place to hangout, to play pool and shoot some hoops while listening to music on YouTube or watch Netflix.
We really enjoyed using the spa tub. Great to relax, enjoy the massage jets and view of the lake, with a nice breeze to cool your face.
The central air/heating was very effective, especially as the weather during our stay was a bit cooler with a fresh breeze coming across the lake.
One thing missing, a kettle for boiling water for our cups of tea. Would be great to see that here.

On our last night, 8 of us sat around the fire-pit discussing what a wonderful mini-vacation we had. The home was beautiful and comfortable for 8 adults and 1 toddler. Having the game room in the garage was a fabulous bonus, especially as the weather wasn't as warm as we had hoped it would be. There were so many places to hang out, play games, or just sit and chat. We loved taking out the kayaks and canoe to check out the neighborhood from the lake side. The little beaches and playgrounds on the lake were perfect!

We had a lovely stay at Landon’s place. It was clean, and large enough to comfortable accommodate our large group. Read the listing in depth for the details on the extra fees for the private community, this is something I missed and was a surprise for myself and the rest of our group. I think this definitely would have been more worth it in the summer, but since we stayed in the winter and did not use and of the community amenities, we felt like it was an expensive extra cost. Overall had a nice stay and would recommend!

This place is perfect. Lots of space, all the essentials and the best back yard view imaginable. Being right on the water, Landon gives you access to a small pier, kayaks and a canoe. The outside has a beautiful fire pit and a jacuzzi. Inside is comfortable with lots of space for guests and plenty of bathrooms. Couldn’t imagine a better lake house to stay at. Great house, plenty of room. Comfy couches in the living room and downstairs family room. Beds were memory foam. Everything was clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. The house was everything we expected! The pools and equipment rental weren't open during the weekdays until June 20th, so we couldn't use the pools, but we had fun in the lake instead, since it was warm enough to swim in. There were a few kayaks and a canoe, and plenty of life jackets on hand. The hot tub was nice. Great place for us to stay, as we had 4 adults and 9 kids total!

This is a great house in a great community on a great lake! So much to do from using the boats, fishing, swimming at the beach or pool to tennis, corn hole and now the hot tub - we loved our time at Arrowhead Lake! Landon was terrific to work with - so responsive and he addressed all of our questions promptly. This was our second year renting this home and we hope to be back next summer as well. Truly a great, relaxing experience for our family.

When registering your vehicles to enter the community, (which is mandatory) be prepared for a headache!! Everything else was absolutely great!

Perfect gateway! The house is very clean and well equipped with everything needed for vacation time!. Description was very accurate. Location is great in a nice and safe community. The host was great at communicating with us about all details. We are coming back for sure!

We recently rented this property from Landon. It is a great location with beautiful views of the lake and with spectacular sunsets. Landon and his bnb folks upgraded this property and it now offers a modern, fresh escape for us in the Poconos. My entire family - children and grandchildren - thoroughly enjoyed our much needed vacation at this lovely mountain get-away., which offered direct access to the lake and provided us with boats and kayaks. I especially appreciated coordinating with Landon, who was easy to work with, a great communicator and always responsive. He made our rental stress free and easy. Thank you, Landon. Not all property managers are as accommodating as you.
