Landon’s place was the perfect spot to spend a celebratory long weekend with our closest friends! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. It was the perfect place for a large gathering, especially with little ones! We enjoyed sipping coffee on the back porch, riding bikes, roasting marshmallows and watching shooting stars.
Landon was very communicative and thoughtful. Wonderful host!
Definitely want to return in the future!

Good place for large family and friend gat together. Cabins are well furnished. Only inconvenience is that cabins don’t have attached bath. But, it was expected.

We took our church youth group for a fall retreat here. This place was awesome! Plenty of room for our group of 25. Huge kitchen for our meals. Enough seating in main cabin to house everyone. Fire pit for snores was fantastic. The location was great and felt like we were in cabins in the middle of the mountains. Our group plans to come back! We are recommending other youth groups here! Landon was also super responsive and answered all our questions. The house manual and recommendations of the local things were very helpful. If you’re thinking of renting it, go ahead and book - thank me later for it.

This space was perfect for a big group - we had space to come together but everyone had their individual cabins/rooms. We loved the giant back porch! Beautiful property with a lot of land. Landon was very communicative and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Would love to come back and stay again!

Plenty of Everything! This cabin is absolutely beautiful and amazing! My entire family was impressed and especially the kids. They loved the playground, all of the games, toys, etc. Plenty of space for everything. I can’t think of anything that was needed that wasn’t provided! Landon, the host was exceptional! The property was beautiful and everything was very clean. The house had everything we needed to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. All the kids had a blast using the basketball court, and using the kiddie pool. This was for our family reunion with 16 family members, and we would definitely come back. Landon was very good to work with. No complaints.

The whole family expressed their appreciation that I’d found a real gem. The set-up is a wonderful balance between space for gathering and for privacy. We had a group ranging in age from 2 to 76. Kids were able to nap while adults gathered. Beds are comfy, sheets are cotton!!
Kitchen is well stocked - only thing missing is an air fryer so we brought our own. Fridges upstairs and down are a real convenience.
We used all the space! Playground, fire pit, grassy play area, beautiful deck. Game area downstairs was a hit with the little guys (ages 5,4 and 2).
Food Lion delivered on time right after arrival - great convenience!
Only thing that would have been helpful to know ahead is the “dry” alcohol rules in the county- we only learned upon arrival that we couldn’t just go to the grocery store to pick up.
Fabulous family trip- can’t say enough about the property, facility, and host. (We had a minor issue with a clogged drain that was handled promptly.)
Don’t hesitate to book here!

We had six in our party - the main house fit us all comfortably - the place was lovely, the host extremely responsive - you don't always find that - and the location was great for access to Wilkesboro. Will back next year unless someone reads this and books it first.

I'll start with the host...
Landon answered any and all emails within 5 to 10 minutes, with respectful and meaningful answers. There was no miscommunication at all.
The property...
I can not stress enough how amazing this property is. We fit 24 people comfortably with room for about 10 more.
The house was absolutely beautiful and everything looked in person as it did in the listing.
The firepit was my favorite part of the whole property. There is a nice walking trail on the property to explore and an amazing Mountain area to hike and rock climb about 15 minute drive from the property.
We were not bothered once by neighbors or the host.
This is the perfect place to enjoy time with good friends and family.
We are planning on making with our yearly vacation cabin for years to come.

This was our second Thanksgiving in a row at Weaverville Cabin. We had 24 people from age 69 down to age 3 from Virginia, New York, Florida, and Arizona. Everyone enjoyed the zip line and the teenagers enjoyed the hot tub. The little kids loved the playground, and foosball table. We appreciated the added bathroom since last year! The kitchen has everything you need to cook for a crowd. We loved having the dumpster on site. It was very convenient.

We LOVED our stay at the Weaverville Cabin! Its even greater in person than in the photos. The whole property was gorgeous and very well maintained. All aspects of the property (tiny cabins, zip line, hot tub, TVs, AC, lighting, kitchen appliances, gaming, etc.) was all in great working order and very easy to use. We used the zipline over and over again, children and adults alike. The deck on the main cabin was a fantastic spot to congregate, overlook the main area of the property, and watch the sunset. The kitchen is very large and arranged in a way that allowed many moments where several of us were enjoying that space together, whether that was preparing or eating food, or simply having good conversation. The three full bathrooms in the main cabin and one half bath outside worked just fine for our group of 29. Everyone had a bed, with fresh linen and plenty of towels provided. Our whole stay was a dream that us and our guests are still aglow over. Would highly recommend!!

This is an amazing property. Everything was as described in the listing. There are not a ton of things to do in the local area, but with this property, there is no need to leave. It was the perfect setting for our extended family reunion and Memorial for my dad that passed away last year.

We all hung out in the spacious main cabin and the smaller cabins brought us back to summer camp days (but way nicer). The kitchen was well stocked with basics and there were plenty of towels and lots of drinking water. The ice machine was clutch. It took two of us to use the zip line but was fun. Big yard and they had wiffleball and such. Would recommend for big groups. Note that you need to travel on gravel roads for a few minutes to get to the house.

We absolutely loved staying at this property! Our family and friends had plenty of room to hang out. The kitchen was perfect for cooking meals for the group. This property is perfect for larger gatherings since there is an outdoor pavilion included and plenty of land for outdoor games/activities! The bathroom outside by the smaller cabins was an added bonus as well as the 2nd bathroom downstairs in the main cabin. This property wasn’t very far from town to be able to get groceries and explore. It is also fairly close to the Blue Ridge Mountains. We will definitely be booking again in the future!

We rented this property for the 20 year reunion of a combat deployment we went on together. Overall this is an absolutely beautiful property that's well maintained, offers tons of amenities, and is impeccably maintained. There were seven of us, and there was plenty of space for all of us to have our own room/bed (and then some if you consider the little cabins). Perfectly suited for whatever we needed, whether relaxing inside or out, to space for any activity, and the easy climb up the mountain to a beautiful lookout. We'd highly recommend, and some have suggested we come back again. They lost a star on "Accuracy of online listing" based on the title. "Weaverville" led me to believe the property was in Weaverville, NC, about 1.5 hours away outside Asheville, which is where we wanted to be. We attempted to cancel after the initial deposit was paid, but 1) VRBO wouldn't support our appeal, and 2) the property owner eventually offered (after some pleading) to refund but only if someone else booked the property for the same dates. We couldn't take that chance, so we went forward with the stay at this property. I will say though, through it all, communication with the property owner was positive.

So fun for my husband and I plus all five of our married kids and all of their kiddos plus my 75 year old mother. There was space for EVERYONE to sleep and play and relax and eat and have fun! We set up a net on the cement pad by the playground and played pickle ball and badminton (not a perfectly measured court, but it worked) while the littles played on the playground and ran around. Almost everyone did the zip line, from the 75 year old great grandmother to 7 year old grandkiddo. The separate cabin idea is pretty cool. Property manager was very quick to answer any questions we had.

This property is a treasure! Beautiful large & spacious cabin and 6 fun, well appointed smaller cabins in close proximity allowed for some of our friends to have their own space and quiet. Very comfortable furnishings, well stocked kitchen, cozy firepit top make the night glow. This Airbnb is a great spot for large groups to enjoy or a family reunion! Also you will have Landon at the ready to answer any questions or confirm things with. He was a great help during our stay.

Our family had a reunion here with guests ranging from almost 92, down to under 2. We had a great time zip-lining, gathering around the fire pit, playing games, working puzzles, watching NCAA basketball, and just catching up. The children loved the indoor play area, especially the rock climbing wall, and the outdoor play area! The kitchen was as well stocked as I’ve seen, with any and all the items needed to cook for a large crowd. Our family enjoyed the quietness and serenity of the property. The young adults found a pickleball court at Northern Foothills Tennis Club in North Wilksboro and had an awesome time! Everyone commented on what a great find this property was! Landon was very helpful and always was quick to respond to any questions I had.

It's hard to find accommodations for our large family but this property was great. We had 30 family members- children, teens, and adults. The property was clean and well-equipped. We had plenty of room for outdoor games, indoor games and everyone had a bed. The owner was quick to respond when we had questions or issues.

Weaverville cabin was beyond our expectations. We gathered 29 people for a whole week during Thanksgiving 2022. We had plenty of sleeping and seating space. There was so much for the kids to do outside. We only left the cabin to go to the grocery store. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. There is an extra oven by the picnic tables. There are also extra folding tables and chairs. We were worried about only having 2 bathrooms in the main cabin but it worked out better than we expected. We loved how private the property felt. No neighbors to bother. We spent every night at the camp fire. We had enough wood for inside and outside fires every day. We did have a maintenance issue and they were very quick to come out and fix the problem on a holiday weekend.

Landon’s place was awesome! We had some issues with stink bugs & gnats, but purchased some citronella candles to keep them away. We used Landon’s place for our small wedding & he was so accommodating! This was a last minute decision on our whole wedding party & guests since our last Airbnb cancelled. We thoroughly enjoyed this place for all our wedding needs & loved the views and small cabins! Would recommend this place, during a less “buggy” season!

Landon, was a great host. Any time I had questions leading up to the stay he was always quick to respond. When we got to the house Landon checked in and if I had questions was quick to answer. The house had plenty of room to spread out, a basketball goal, a shelter to eat under with plenty of seats, a great fire pit with chairs, sheets, pillows, and plenty of blankets were provided for the stay. We have a friends reunion every year on Labor Day Weekend, and it gets harder and harder to find places to fit all of us as our families grow. With 19 adults and 10 kids, Weaverville was a GREAT fit for us. The cabin setup is adorable and totally functionable. We loved that you could drive your car right up to your cabin to load and unload, and although we were worried about the bathroom situation, it didn’t bother us one bit! The main house is great with a huge open living space and a wonderful kitchen. We never felt crowded at all, and the kiddos had a BALL!! The zipline, playground, toys, and wide open spaces were wonderful. The owner, John, was great to work with, and I would highly recommended this space to any large group (especially ones with kiddos). It’s truly a special place.

We had a group of 15 or so. Amazing experience. We were doing a men’s retreat, and the only problems we had were the kitchen was right by our “workshop” room (loud noise) and only 2 showers for a big group. But other than that it was perfect for us. Great hosts, as well.
