This was the most peaceful stay I’ve had so far. I’m a country girl so being here made me feel like it was a home away from home. I don’t have a favorite thing about the stay because the location, the design of the cabin, the deck, the hot tub, and the lake were all so great. 10/10! We will definitely come back for a longer stay!

We had a great stay with our grandchildren, 6 / 8 years old. They loved the location, the loft area for playing, and the firepit for making s’mores. We didn’t make it to the lake because we were out visiting the Jarrell Plantation and Juliette’s Whistlestop Cafe. The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed. The host was very friendly and responsive. Overall it was a perfect stay!!

The location is completely private, peaceful and quiet. Everything was clean, including the hot-tub and there was plenty of extra towels and blankets. Outside of the cabin is super cozy/intimate between the fire pit, comfy deck chairs and the string lights. Only negatives to note is the internet was not working during our stay and the grill doesn't ignite on the left side, we had to stick a lighter down in there to get it going. Overall, the property and home are beautiful and we're already planning on coming back.

I’m new with this whole Airbnb thing, so I actually hope that we were great costumers. This place was beautiful and so peaceful. Everything we needed was right inside the cabin, they provided us with everything we needed. Definitely recommend if you have children because you don’t really need to buy anything other than the food you need. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and the upstairs room was just breathtaking. The host was very responsive and every instruction was detailed. I loved the place and the host, def will be coming back!

The cabin was a great place for my wife and me to escape for a few days. Clear signage made it easy to find once we turned on its road. It is in a very private location, with no visible or audible neighbors. It’s also far away enough from light sources to make for a lovely nighttime sky, which you can enjoy from the hot tub, just a few steps from the door.
Inside was cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed to prepare our meals.
Forsyth is about 15 minutes away, with plenty of restaurants to choose from, and High Falls State Park is also nearby, with scenery that makes you think you’re in the North Georgia mountains—not just a bit north of Macon.
We had a great stay and hope to go back again.

The place is very peaceful and cozy, it looks straight out of a movie!
There’s a lovely outdoor area, extremely quiet, with absolutely no neighbors.
It truly feels magical.
Some kitchen utensils were quite dirty, the jacuzzi water wasn’t clean, and only one side of the grill was working. These are small details, but it’s helpful feedback so they can improve.
The host is extremely dedicated, made everything much easier, and communicated very well.

What a sweet little cabin this was
It felt so cozy and we loved the string lights! The home was so clean and organized and had all the supplies for cooking in. The hot tub was a must every night and kayaking on the lake was so fun! Def recommend driving to the lake but it was such a relaxing few days! We didn’t want to leave!

Beautiful place, cabin was nice & cozy. The atmosphere was perfect. We had a wonderful time & an experience we will not forget with our dog Lady. The private lake was the icing on the cake. Although, the cleanliness of the inside of the cabin could have been a little better it did not stop us from having an amazing trip.

My sister and I, and our children, thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was the perfect secluded getaway that we were looking for. To unplug as a family and bond in a cozy cabin that feels like home. The cabin is lovely, and just as pictured. It is Very private and sweet little cabin as pictured! great for dogs! Hot tub is a wonderful and worthy addition. The lake was amazing and the use of boats really allowed us to have the summer fun we desperately needed. It is almost 1.5 miles, so we walked once and drove the second time. If you are coming with children, definitely pack staples for what you need to be able to cook. It is super peaceful and felt safe and peaceful. The host was a great communicator.
If you are checking out with kids (at 10) and looking for food, all the places don’t open until 11, so definitely plan accordingly!

Beautiful cabin in a very private location. Everything went smoothly and the property was very clean. The hot tub is amazing! We didn’t spend too much time at the lake, but we snagged a fishing pole out of the laundry room and my husband caught a bass on the first cast! We had a great time here with our puppy and even found a local pet sitter so we could spend a day in Atlanta! Thank you so much! This place is perfect!!

Beautiful little chalet in the middle of the woods. If you like to be secluded, this is the place for you. There are no neighbors and it is literally in the middle of a forest. Everything was as described. The kitchen was adequately stocked to cook meals. It was nice having a grill as well. We enjoyed the hot tub at night with tons of stars above. The lake is nice but we were unsuccessful catching fish. There are 2 rods in the laundry room which was really handy. We did have a small issue but Landon was very quick to remedy it. This rental is very conveniently located to explore High Falls State Park and Dauset Trails Nature Center. There is a Walmart and several restaurants about a 20 min drive away.

The place was great my wife and I loved it…it was peaceful and quiet. The jacuzzi was wonderful. The place was clean. The only issue was ants in the cabin but that’s hard to control being out in the woods. But other than that we loved it.

We absolutely loved our stay! We did a mother/daughter getaway with my mom, sister, daughter and nieces and everyone enjoyed their stay! It was such a a cute place and they had everything you needed to make your stay comfortable! We were able to use the hot tub and the firepit area was our favorite! They had plenty of linens and everything was clean! Definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for some time away from society and to relax with nothing but peaceful surroundings! It is also close to 2 state parks if you like to hike. The host responds quickly and checks in to make sure everything is ok! Our stay was incredible and we would love to stay here again!

Great place beautiful scene and house very good price for what you get, 20 min from beautiful downtown this is perfect getaway for couples or small family. Pretty much bring food and clothes and they handle the rest! Only con which is most cabins dont leave any food out there will be lots of bugs and needed grilling utensils. Will definitely be back

One of my favorite AirBNBs so far. Cute little cabin that was more than advertised. Great chance to be outdoors and experiencing the tiny home living vibes was neat.
Make sure to bring ALL of your cooking supplies as they keep the pantry empty and it's a long drive to get anywhere to buy a cup of sugar + the delivery options are going to be limited.

Great spot! We wanted privacy and nature for our kids and our dog and we got it. Beautiful forests and this place really is remote. Some listings will make it look like you have space, this spot actually delivers. Great little house.

Loved staying in the cabin with my family! Not much around lots in over 30-1 hour driving distance. Loved the hot tub and outdoor lights cute fire pit as well! Cons are the generator or hot tub noise during the night on and off at times, and we felt it was kinda cold, but then again we are from Massachusetts! Loved the value as well!

We booked last minute while on a road trip with our two small children. The cabin was just as described, in a beautiful and totally secluded location. The reflective signs guiding us to the cabin at night were super helpful. The cabin was clean, and clutter free, while still having everything we needed(pack'n play was a huge plus). Beds were comfortable and clean. Wish we had more time to explore the beautiful property. We have already talked about making a pit stop here on our next road trip.

Highly recommend visiting this place. Family or couples! It was perfect for my family of four and I loved it so much I’m planning to return with just my wife. The lake is 1.5 mile fun trip through the woods and made for a great day playing on the John boat. The hot tub and fire pit were just icing on the cake! We can’t wait to return and make it a family tradition.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this cabin in the woods. There are really so many things to do such as hiking, kayaking, sitting by the fire, or enjoying the hot tub. It is very private and the property is much larger than expected (quite a few acres actually). I loved getting away from road noise and city sounds to enjoy the sounds of nature. Overall, it was a truly restful and peaceful experience.

Aside from the hot tub taking a full 24 hours or more to finally heat up I have absolutely no other complaints. The place is perfect if you want peace and serenity. probably the quietest place I've ever stayed in my entire life. The bugs barely even made noise. I will definitely stay there again in the future

Very nice property. Plenty of space and privacy and great for nature walks. Cabin itself is a little small, but comfortable for 2 adults, one child and a medium sized doggie. Landon was very responsive and we felt well taken care of.

What a sweet cabin in the woods!! So serene, private and picturesque. We loved it and would definitely suggest this to a friend.

We had a great time in this wooded private cabin. The surroundings are beautiful and serene. We were lucky to get to experience the emergence of the XIX Cicadas (May 2024)! They are loud during the day but quiet down at night, thankfully. Landon was a very responsive and communicative host!
We had 4 people staying in this cabin, and it felt manageable, but not ideal. The common area is a small space and the only sitting area is the futon. I would say this cabin is best suited for 2. We did a lot of cooking/grilling. There were adequate supplies of pots/pans and utensils/plates. No dishwasher and minimal counter space so be prepared for that.
There were plenty of towels and linens provided. The porch furniture was comfortable to hang out on and the exterior lighting was warm soothing.
We did go down to the lake a couple times, the last turn off the main road was a little hard to spot. Watch out for ticks, we came home with a few!

We had such a nice, relaxing time. We felt like we were the only two people on the planet. We were able to rest and relax and felt refreshed after our stay. We loved hearing the birds in the mornings. The accommodations were very comfy and clean. The WiFi worked great! Landon was very quick to respond and was friendly and helpful. There was a wonderful restaurant called Grits about 15 minutes away. We went there both nights. This cottage is our new getaway. You’d never know the hustle and bustle of Atlanta was so close! We hope to come back regularly!

My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary at the Woodland Chalet. We were looking for a private, romantic place to take a break from daily life of being "mommy and daddy" to 3 little boys, and THIS was it. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, private lake, and upper loft area of the cabin. The place is clean, well-stocked, and super cozy. Exactly like the photos. We originally only wanted 1 night, but SO GLAD we booked 2. Husband said "I don't want to leave" the morning of checkout 😁 anyways, I could go on and on. The Woodland Charlet is a beautiful small cabin secluded in the wood for a relaxing getaway. I would highly recommend this place to family and friends who enjoy relaxing around a fire pit or soaking in the hot tub under the stars.

Such a great sweet cozy cabin- beautiful hot tub, nice fire pit out front with adorable lighting above the pit and around the outside of the cabin. My partner and I enjoyed our stay very much, spent great quality time together here. Cute, cozy home in beautiful surroundings. You could easily just stay at the Chalet exploring the area. This home is very easy to find and the trail is clearly marked if you'd like to walk to the lake. Then in the evening you can sit back and relax in the hot tub! We would definitely recommend this to other guests! 😁

We loved staying at the woodland chalet! This property is immaculate. Perfect for a secluded getaway and conveniently located near great trails. The little private lake is an added bonus and a must see during your stay. The hosts are super responsive and have thought of all the necessities and creature comforts. This little chalet in the woods will forever have a piece of our hearts and we will definitely be back in the future.

The cabin was perfect. A great place to unwind and just enjoy the surroundings. All of the furnishings were beautiful and comfortable. Check in and check out were easy and well instructed.
