The yurt was prestine when we arrived. Utensils for both the yurt & grill were provided leaving you needing for nothing your entire stay. There’s a little tiny mini fridge provided & a hot plate. The bedding and everything surrounding was so cozy, it truly was set for such a peaceful stay. This place is premiere glamping that’s for sure. The hot tub was turned up and ready for us to get in that night also which we appreciated. There’s a 24hr Sheetz a little over 15 mins away in Dubois along with some bars and restaurants. We visited Bill’s Bar and A&M Restaurant during our stay. The private creek that you have access to is beautiful and there’s so many other trails surrounding. We also did the Redbank Valley Trail as well in Brookesville. All in all this place was a nice little dream getaway for some peace and quiet. Landon was the greatest host. So attentive & responsive. The comfort & well-being of his guests is his priority and he makes that very clear. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Beautiful "glamping" experience. Rained and snowed our whole visit so glad we had such cozy accommodations to enjoy. Didnt get to explore much but even just strolling up and down the stone drive way was Beautiful! Kitchenette is well set up so we could stay in. Strong wifi and the tv was great on the rainy nights. Hot tob views are top tier!

Staying in the yurt made for the perfect, peaceful mini honeymoon experience for my husband and I. We loved how secluded we felt in our place! There were great views with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. The hot tub was an added bonus!! We would definitely recommend staying at this yurt to anyone!

Loved our time here! The weather was beautiful and the yurt was so cute, clean, and comfortable. We had a great time, and Landon was super responsive and helpful. I’m definitely going to recommend this place to others.

We are so very grateful to have experienced such an amazing time in our first ever yurt!!!! Adventures Abode was just what we had hoped for! What made the experience even better was the host’s keen eye for simple bohemian style that made it feel peaceful and comforting. The hot tub and view were the added bonus! Only one concern we had, the feet underneath the platform bed were noticeably crooked and looked like they were about to break. It looked as if it had been repaired already but might be a good idea to just invest in a sturdier bed frame. However, we survived the night without ending up on the floor! lol so that’s a win! Highly recommend this host, their kindness and swift response to our concerns made us feel seen and comforted. Thank you for investing in the little piece of paradise!

Our stay was amazing! The yurt was so fun, clean, and honestly really modern! The hot tub, fire pit and chairs on the deck made such a relaxing getaway for my fiance and I. There was a private creek we hiked and relaxed most of the time. Landon was so responsive, and gave recommendations before and during our trip to make sure we had everything we needed. Everything on the website he provided was extremely helpful. The “things to do” tab was amazing, even giving distances so we didn’t have to look everything up. All the yurts were full during our stay, but it was relatively quiet and you weren’t on top of the other properties. Would 110% stay here again! Thank you Landon for an amazing getaway!

My dreams of staying in a Yurt have come true. This was glamorous glamping at its finest. All the amenities were state of the art top notch. It felt like I was at a luxurious 5 star resort. The host thought of everything down to the essentials of making a campfire. As a single traveler I felt safe and secure. I want to bring my family back here and be a return guest time and again. I loved it. Absolutely peaceful, amazing view, stargazer’s paradise.

Gorgeous views, whether sitting at the fire pit or grilling off the back deck. Quality cookware to prepare your meals, but the recommendations for eating out are great. And the bed, OMG the bed, was the most comfortable thing I've slept on yet. I would highly recomend any of the yurts there. Landon was very quick to respond to any questions. And the access to a washer and dryer was a great amenity to have. My clothes were clean and fresh for the ride home, i didnt have to worry about laundry the next day for work.

The Adventure Abode yurt was AMAZING. It had a gorgeous view of the wooded overlook and the horizon. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring and the yurt itself was super cozy. It was extremely windy while we were there and it even rained, which only added to our sense of coziness. The bed was comfortable and there were lots of blankets, which was great bc it got pretty chilly. Overall I loved every minute at the yurt and would def recommend to anyone wanting a cozy little getaway in the woods. Landon was great to communicate w too. The only thing I’d flag is that it’s a bit of a drive to get back to the yurt, so make sure you go to the store and get your supplies first. Once you arrive, you won’t want to leave ?

As the last stay of our 10-day road trip, staying in the Adventure Abode yurt was exactly what we needed. The area is secluded yet a 15-minute drive into town leads to a grocery store with anything you’d need to make meals with mountain views. We also explored local vintage stores and the flower shop.
Our yurt had all the comforts of home with an extra dash of peace and nature. We had a minor issue upon arrival that was quickly resolved, Landon responding within moments of our message. The person sent out to resolve our issue was professional, friendly, and efficient.
If we could have stayed longer, we absolutely would have. We look forward to visiting again and are sure to recommend this location to our friends and family.
Ps— because the location of the yurt is nestled in nature, be sure to save some daylight to navigate the dirt roads upon arrival :)

My husband and I had a great weekend in Landons place! Everything was beautifully decorated and felt like luxury camping! We really enjoyed the views on the back deck chairs and hot tub! I usually have a hard time being comfortable in a bed away from home but the bed at this place was amazingly comfortable and the linens were so soft and super comfortable pillows! love the extra throw blankets available so comfy! You also can see the stars from the skylight above! overall we had a great trip and plan to stay at this location next year for our annual friends get together in nearby Punxy. Only recommendation would be a dish sponge and maybe some creamers and sugar for coffee area and cooking spray. Otherwise great location and great place! Would highly recommend!

Great place to stay to just get away. Any questions you may have are pretty much answered for you already with the thoroughness of the host. Any issues are quickly addressed, which is nice. It’s apart from a lot of other places because it really is in the middle of the woods, it is a getaway from everything. 10/10 would recommend

The yurts are in a beautiful area. The veiw was amazing & tons of wildlife. We saw deer (fawns!) from the deck. The hot tub is wonderful & new! The kitchen has everything. Inside the yurt everything was very clean. There is physical private space between the yurts. However, yurts are only canvas, and inside its easy to hear other campers voices. Our first night, we had rowdy neighbors with loud music & voices, which went after quiet hours. I texted Landon & he quickly took care of it. We also had some windy storms come through & we were super impressed with how sturdy the yurt was. This was our first time in a yurt. It never budged an inch. We felt very safe. Looking through the window in the top of the yurt is mesmerizing. I am used to complete darkness when sleeping & sleeping in. So next time I would bring an eye mask. The bed was super luxurious. Fridge is small. There is a Sheetz & restaurants 20 mins away. Air conditioning was great! Internet super fast.

Prettier than the pictures in the summer, sunrise & set were GORGEOUS. Pro-tip have your coffee in the hot tub at sunrise you won’t be disappointed! (I was in there twice a day for my full 4 day trip??)
Really a once-in-a-lifetime stay. I came for work and this yurt and location and Landon made for the most incredible stay. The amenities (great WiFi, AC, etc) were impeccable! And no bears!!
So cool to wake up to the sunrise with the skylight above and nature all around, and a beautiful place to wind down as well.
It’s obvious the host made efforts to make every yurt super private, and I would LOVE to host a yurt-party here! It has everything you’d want to have a few friends or families to rent the entire neighb-yurt-hood and just have the BEST time.
Deer and bunnies were plentiful, just a short drive to civilization…I just can’t say enough good things ?
Host was SUPER responsive and very kind!! Thanks again!!??
