Yurt #1 Adventure Abode

The Adventure Abode yurt was AMAZING. It had a gorgeous view of the wooded overlook and the horizon. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring and the yurt itself was super cozy. It was extremely windy while we were there and it even rained, which only added to our sense of coziness. The bed was comfortable and there were lots of blankets, which was great bc it got pretty chilly. Overall I loved every minute at the yurt and would def recommend to anyone wanting a cozy little getaway in the woods. Landon was great to communicate w too. The only thing I’d flag is that it’s a bit of a drive to get back to the yurt, so make sure you go to the store and get your supplies first. Once you arrive, you won’t want to leave ?

10/10 ! My mom and I shared the small yurt and it was absolutely perfect! The hot tub and yurt itself were exceptionally clean and cozy! I wish we stayed longer, can’t wait to return !!!!!

We loved staying at the yurt for a private, relaxing getaway! The space and view are even nicer than the photos. Landon was an incredible host that was responsive and went out of his way to ensure that we were enjoying our stay. We would definitely book any of Landon’s yurts in the future!

As the last stay of our 10-day road trip, staying in the Adventure Abode yurt was exactly what we needed. The area is secluded yet a 15-minute drive into town leads to a grocery store with anything you’d need to make meals with mountain views. We also explored local vintage stores and the flower shop.
Our yurt had all the comforts of home with an extra dash of peace and nature. We had a minor issue upon arrival that was quickly resolved, Landon responding within moments of our message. The person sent out to resolve our issue was professional, friendly, and efficient.
If we could have stayed longer, we absolutely would have. We look forward to visiting again and are sure to recommend this location to our friends and family.
Ps— because the location of the yurt is nestled in nature, be sure to save some daylight to navigate the dirt roads upon arrival :)

My husband and I had a great weekend in Landons place! Everything was beautifully decorated and felt like luxury camping! We really enjoyed the views on the back deck chairs and hot tub! I usually have a hard time being comfortable in a bed away from home but the bed at this place was amazingly comfortable and the linens were so soft and super comfortable pillows! love the extra throw blankets available so comfy! You also can see the stars from the skylight above! overall we had a great trip and plan to stay at this location next year for our annual friends get together in nearby Punxy. Only recommendation would be a dish sponge and maybe some creamers and sugar for coffee area and cooking spray. Otherwise great location and great place! Would highly recommend!

Great place to stay to just get away. Any questions you may have are pretty much answered for you already with the thoroughness of the host. Any issues are quickly addressed, which is nice. It’s apart from a lot of other places because it really is in the middle of the woods, it is a getaway from everything. 10/10 would recommend

The yurts are in a beautiful area. The veiw was amazing & tons of wildlife. We saw deer (fawns!) from the deck. The hot tub is wonderful & new! The kitchen has everything. Inside the yurt everything was very clean. There is physical private space between the yurts. However, yurts are only canvas, and inside its easy to hear other campers voices. Our first night, we had rowdy neighbors with loud music & voices, which went after quiet hours. I texted Landon & he quickly took care of it. We also had some windy storms come through & we were super impressed with how sturdy the yurt was. This was our first time in a yurt. It never budged an inch. We felt very safe. Looking through the window in the top of the yurt is mesmerizing. I am used to complete darkness when sleeping & sleeping in. So next time I would bring an eye mask. The bed was super luxurious. Fridge is small. There is a Sheetz & restaurants 20 mins away. Air conditioning was great! Internet super fast.

Omg! Ah-mazing!!! ??
Prettier than the pictures in the summer, sunrise & set were GORGEOUS. Pro-tip have your coffee in the hot tub at sunrise you won’t be disappointed! (I was in there twice a day for my full 4 day trip??)
Really a once-in-a-lifetime stay. I came for work and this yurt and location and Landon made for the most incredible stay. The amenities (great WiFi, AC, etc) were impeccable! And no bears!!
So cool to wake up to the sunrise with the skylight above and nature all around, and a beautiful place to wind down as well.
It’s obvious the host made efforts to make every yurt super private, and I would LOVE to host a yurt-party here! It has everything you’d want to have a few friends or families to rent the entire neighb-yurt-hood and just have the BEST time.
Deer and bunnies were plentiful, just a short drive to civilization…I just can’t say enough good things ?
Host was SUPER responsive and very kind!! Thanks again!!??
